Before I believed in that, but now I doubt that Waves can replace ethereum. I imagine that way back 2017 each waves by this year was 0.001BTC almost and look at the price now, though it bounce high where last week if I am not mistaken it went down to 0.0005BTC and so far it was 0.0008BTC But still not enough to say to become the next one into ethereum.

Even we see the growing price of waves it can't easily replace ethereum in second place in top cryptocurrencies. Ethereum will remain in the second place and I think it will still second on bitcoin. Its hard to know if waves will replace ethereum but I still believe that ethereum will remain second after couple years.

Waves could be the next Ethereum, But i prefer to top 10 in the coinmarketcap. Rise more than 100% doesn't mean it could be the next ethereum, Because there are more than 100% and they are not linked to the next Ethereum.

Wave growth is good. This tells the investor that the market is not dead. Good designs can grow. Before it is still far away. But everything is possible.I also like the waves. Many projects are coming out right now on this blockchain.

I think waves are not a heavy competitor for ethereum, because there are other altcoins that are better than waves. the ranking of waves is often passed by other crypto, one of them is eos.
so I'm not sure waves can replace ethereum

Change is the only thing that is constant. Have there being improvement in waves platform. I always wondering why every token in waves platform does not appreciate. I have so many token there and it is always dump immediately after launching in the waves exchange.
I am not seeing any reason why waves will replace ethereum.

I think you can see the difference in price for the difference. I don't think it's that easy to defeat ethereum, we know eth falls in from other crypto.
but this is not an indication that eth will fall and disappear, I believe in eth rather than waves

I don't in any way like all these comparison of token and coins which I believe every coin has its own way to satisfy its users and same goes to other only bad project will not want to make it big with uncare team but these two coin are both great project which I believe so much in to deliver at any level so the marketcap is base on the number of coin price and has nothing to do with the performance.

In term of marketcap, I think it still far away for Waves to catch up to Ethereum.
But it can be the rival of ethereum if waves could grow even faster than how it was

Wave that i know doesn't have what it takes to replace ethereum their dex is nothing to write home about, token built on their platform fail miserably, i don't see anything good in wave platform.

waves is one of the best altcoins at the moment because it has a large volume and a clear concept. if we look at the current price growth, it might be possible, but I think it still needs a longer process to be able to replace ethereum.

Yes waves is one of the blockchain growing fast and it has been developed in good way but i don't think it will replace ETH because ethereum is one of the best altcoin after BTC so it cannot be easily replaced by others. There are some fluctuations in the price of Ethereum but it will not be the end. And now we are seeing good improvement on price aspect as well. ETH is around $117 now from $90 shows green signal for crypto market now.

I was also surprised by waves increase this week, but this can't be reason if waves will replace ethereum. I think ethereum is still difficult to replace, especially with news that Hardfork ethereum in the next year, I believe price and volume of ethereum market trade will continue to increase rapidly.

Its a free platform anything is possible for waves to take over ethereum but for how long can it hold so much like ethereum and how valuable would it be even in the rise still waiting for it though

Just because of a few days price surge the idea of waves surpassing Ethereum is back online
Basic truth remains that waves is a good project with hardworking team and immense development

Any other progress will be judges on the future
