The analysis of the OP has just made it clear that there is every tendency for it to be scam. Thanks for the fast prompt. Most times, developers that come up to run ICO, without revealing their identities end up being scam. Some also use fake identities.

Yes, moreover, all the work done for bounty, paid in WCX, was converted in WCXT and… should now be converted to XT.
Except that, strangely, you have to fill their KYC (for a bounty/airdrop, what a joke!). And you know what? ooohhh, they don't validate any KYC and WCXT to XT conversion is over in 5 days Cheesy
Try to ask something about this on twitter or discord -> BAN.

Big scammers, big shitasses.

For me the bad signs were that they are collecting funds for many many months now, it is like an open ico since months, secondly they had a referral program where anyone who signups free will get free tokens and for everyone they refer both the referer and the referral will also get free coins, thirdly the team and people behind this exchange are hidden, all these signs are not good for a real project so i will suggest to be careful.

Fuck em.

They gave me some free coins, then took away my free coins and said I must convert them to new coins, and must give them my ID in order to convert the coins to new coins.

Pieces of shit.

They censor their announcement pages so noone can respond or see the replies.

So many pieces of shit in this world.

They finaly released the Exchange and its open for registration.

And all the tokens you got for referrals and such now have to be migrated to a different token AND you only get them if you hand over your full identity to them.    SMH

So right now what is the conclusion for this WCX exchange? I am so curious to know whether they are scam or not as it seems that they did attract a lot of users going to their website.

So, what's the news now? The ANN topic is locked too.

Signed up for their free tokens and have only had one or two emails from them since so nothing lost. It's a big shame if it does turn out to be a scam, makes it difficult to know which projects to trust and support

Thanks for this thread, you make some very valid points. I'm sure someone from their team reads this forum, so it would be great to hear their side of this story, if they even have enough arguments to defend themselves.

I have been suspicious about them too, it's far too usual to not reveal any identify of the team members. Free coins are fine, but I will not invest my personal money into it. Such a pity, I had hoped for them to be real.
Well, the best thing is that we should not invest to avoiding the risks, each week WCX always send the information about the mailbox with the invitation to join the investment very attractive. But we don't have much information about the founders and development. Embarrassed

Yes continue to get those emails with lower minimums. It seems are trying to get all the cash they can..

Good thing I saw this. A friend of mine joined this and gave his email address and that's about it. He might be getting lots of spam but hopefully that would only be it. No other bad things.

Yeah I figured it was a scam when I first heard about it. They advertised that they where giving away "$10 worth of WCX tokens" to anyone who gave them an email.

I am not saying if it is a scam or not (I genuinely do not know), however just because a company gives $10 worth of their tokens for registering your email does not make it a scam. Email addresses, as long as they are real, are very valuable. Also, the token does not cost anything to the company. The value is arbitrary as it is not listed on any exchanges currently. Therefore, it could be worth more than $10 or less (most likely).
