Hi, edit the Daemons.cfg file and it will list all coins installed (BTC and WDC in this case) in each group there is a var called DataDirectory holding the chain dir of each coin
For the other issue, you should open Wallet Settings component and you can change to the desired behavior there

EDIT: I can assure you no coins lost. It seems the installer gets confused some times when updating to multicoin architecture the first time, I will check it out

I think Bittrex can be paid to list a coin, they have some requirements a coin must satisfy as well.

or from the downloads part of our main web page
The software you will download is the installer, execute it, choose expert mode and follow the steps, almost at the end you will have the opportunity to select the directory where you will download the chain.
If you overwrite a chain directory then is good practice to make a copy of your wallet.dat first

Chain downloaded OK, pressed 'Finish' button, installer closed, then wallet launched and started syncing from scratch.

Any advice??

Close the wallet.
Open Daemons.cfg and verify that the variable DataDirectory is holding the directory where your blockchain was downloaded
