I can't predict the future but if XRP gets regulatory clarity, it should see a pump. And when crypto regulations come out in the US, it should pump compliant chains like XLM, 0xMR, and Q Blockchain.

yes I agree because when Bitcoin volatility decreases, traders seem to turn to accumulating altcoins. and at that time there will be an altcoin season. but we all can't be sure when this altcoin season will come. we can only predict and assume according to each other's observations. and for sure we are in the altcoin season later, hopefully soon.

altcoins are always accustomed to following the movements of bitcoin, if bitcoin improves it is certain that altcoins will also improve but not vice versa. indeed, from the beginning of the year there was an increase from bitcoin but it was not seen and it is certain that it will improve soon, it could be that the increase was just a mere surprise. but I agree that this is the right time to buy and hold, because the halving period is only waiting for the next few months and is usually accompanied by movements for improvement. it is very appropriate to still want to hold old coins which are indeed very potential compared to new coins that have not been tested for the future.

Even if one has to choose altcoin it should be from a newly project that you buy from their presale then target when they want to list on trusted exchange immediately you can sell and make your savings, because altcoin are not to be putting more trust but if you have to peaceful and have a free mind without having the fear to lose your investment then choose bitcoin.

We all want the altcoins that we choose to increase and hence the hope for a altcoin season to start. However this is long from reality because nobody can predict these things from beforehand and we can only wait and watch. Specific altcoins going up might be due to news pertaining to that project only while overall market price rise will be due to bigger positive news that makes bitcoin rise first followed by altcoins.

Season or no season, your approach here should be to accumulate bitcoin as much as possible and whenever possible, altcoins only as a smaller part of the portfolio not as an alternative to bitcoin because of its high price/btc.

not exactly altcoin season since only select altcoins are rising but it might be signs of altcoin season, as you said the overall condition of the cryptocurrency in general has been improving compared last year, I do agree that if this continue bullrun will inevitably comes and soon altcoins will also follow.

I don't agree, because there are many things that determine altcoin season. indeed one of them is the price of bitcoin, but it is not a benchmark. just look at this time even though bitcoin has increased in price but altcoins are still in the same place. there are even some who are still down. I think the altcoin season will come after the bitcoin halving, because based on my experience the altcoin starts a year after the bitcoin halving.

For a real alt season to start we need to see BTC stabilize at 35k or keep going up slowly. Alts like it when BTC is flat or slowly goes up. We are due for a pump though because we have been in a bear market over a year. I have been accumulating 0xMR, XRP, and HBAR. I'm about to jump in and buy Q Blockchain and Shardeum when they list on exchanges this summer.

I think ETH and BTC do not move "slowly", it does move to a point but it doesn't move as little as people think it does. BTC and ETH can do that, the altcoins that we buy could be risky and could crash even during bull run if something unexpected happens, or not even go above the previous ATH because of it even if it rises.

However, we at least know that ETH and BTC will do fine, so that type of guarantee beats any kind of pace, sure some alts will go up a lot, and that would be lovely to hold those but that doesn't mean that we will hold them, we could own ones that go down during the same period and lose money too.
