Even though we are in the very difficult times because of the corona virus outbreak, bitcoin hodl is never gonna end. Some are just waiting for the price of bitcoin to pump up and some are buying bitcoin cause of the bitcoin price drop. It's the same  for me because im also holding altcoins not only bitcoin. This crisis will end and all will be back to normal.

I'm not an expert but with such questions, I'll definitely keep my bitcoin.

Why should I sell it at the wrong time? I don't have reason to sell and I'm still in the right thinking that will never sell during this crisis.

I'm on the same boat, I have some bitcoins saved from a couple months before the crash, and though the price is already catching up to my buy price, I'm confident I can hold for longer without an issue.

I'm still hodling all the coins i acquired before the dip. Not like i have much of a choice or just decided to hold them but they are already below their buying price so selling them off will make me run into loses. There's a saying in cryptocurrency sphere that says, you only lose when you dump off, so it's better i wait till market stabilize

Why do you wait for the market to stabilize? Are you not setting a specific target before you sell?
You will not lose when you dump in the right price. You will only have a huge chance of lossing when you're panic selling trying to cover your losses during the dip.
Apparently, the dip wasn't a bad price movement at all, It's an opportunity to buy more instead of just waiting doing nothing during this time of crisis, not unless if you're setting health as your priority in this current pandemic.

Since the price right now is stabilizing closer to $7K, I think you should just wait for the meantime. You don't have another choice but to do that and we are now closing to halving so it might cut your losses in the recent dump. Patience is a virtue so keep on holding for now. We don't know what may happen since in the long run bitcoin will always recover.

I won't say am holding the Bitcoin perse , but I am holding till I can and when the need arises you have to sell them , it is rather important for a person to actually first survive and then think about anything else so, I do think the one's who are able to hold even during this time is actually very lucky because everyone know it will go up sooner or later.
I do have many pets and I feed like 20 dogs and cats everyday and during the quarantine I need more money than ever so I don't think I will hesitate to sell if the need arises .

I'm not going to sell my bitcoin lower than the price I bought it. I may need to wait for a few years but I know I'll eventually get 100% profit to my investment. My bank needs 7 years to double my money. I don't think I'd need to wait that long with crypto.
the pandemic that happens to make people trapped in his house. if people look for alternatives to building a business, it could end up on bitcoin. the decision I made is the same as yours. I will not sell the crypto assets that I currently have. besides that, halving, and eth 2.0 are promising things upfront.

No doubt bitcoin is safe but the question arise about it's profitability. There are news of miners selling their ASIC for cheap as they don't think the halving would make bitcoin mining profitable for them. For mining to be profitable for most miners, bitcoin's price needs to be at least $10K after the halving which is still not in sight. This could further make the blockchain vulnerable as the miners could get in the hand of con players.

I had sold most of the bitcoins I bought cheaply for $ 15,000. I have no idea or need to sell my current BTC for less than $ 100,000. If I need it, I will evaluate it at that moment.

Wise thinking. Even though we are having difficult times since there are corona virus which are now pandemic, we don't need to panic sell our holdings. We should evaluate the situation and think critical. So that, we don't have any regrets when we sell our bitcoin or when we hold it. Just be calm and plan strategically for the decision you need to make.

I believe the breaking news of covid19 has really affected the market as of recent before it manage to get back up bitcoin touched $3,000+ which I believe was a great opportunity to those who are into leverage. I also won't want to believe that someone will still HODL bitcoin since last year 2019 till this moment that will be the most crazy and stupid ideas ever. The present market strategy now doesn't recommend any ONE to HODL.

Well, the pandemic that is happening did not really affect the price. In fact, the price dump that happened is not because of the pandemic but because of the PlusToken scammers moving their scammed bitcoin into mixers. But looking at the brighter side, that dump gave us an opportunity to reinvest or buy bitcoin again at a lower price. No one knows when will be the price that low happens again so it is great for those us that bought at that $4K.

All those people out there that sold their coins when the price started to drop are regretting now. Well, at least they won't be ever investing on bitcoin or has learned from this that they should never sell out their coins because the price is dropping.
Listen, the price is dropping, not the amount of coins you are holding. You don't make any loss as long as you are holding it. You make loss when you sell it. So just hold it and sit tight!
Panic selling also occurs due to factors from many things such as the situation about the pandemic that happened and other things and also, maybe because of a financial pressure that forced him to sell. But when they don't have the right reasons when selling and just panic then of course, selling when the price is dipped is something that will really make them lose out because after all, the situation and price will definitely recover even though it is slow and requires more time. So, it never hurts for us to be patient and keep holding when difficulties occur, because one thing that makes our HODL strategy successful is about patience and staying confident to keep HODL when bad conditions occur.

Even though the current situation is in difficult conditions, I still decide to hold the bitcoin that I have. And if the price of bitcoin
goes down again, I will buy again. I try to collect as much bitcoin as I can. I did all that because I was confident in the future
bitcoin can provide huge profits.
Well, you can make this stuff if you have a lot of money in your wallet but for those who haven't, it gonna be their big sacrifice to sell their bitcoin even at a low price and they are losing in the other hand. There is no competition around who has a lot of Bitcoins to hold but this also matters when you have the capability to provide your necessity in the global crisis we face. This can be a hard time for poor people who are relying alone upon their investment but if you are a rich person, you shouldn't have to think about selling but of buying.

Probably yes, I am still believing in bitcoin,I know that someday it will bounce back again to 10000$, I am just holding it because if I am going to pul it out just like what other have done then for sure I will waste my money, pulling it out is not a good option because the price of the bitcoin is not still that too high, I will waiy for bull run so thr money I invest will make profit.

Actually if bitcoin dumping happens, invedting more cryptocurrency will be a good idea, because this is the thing, invest when low, pull it out when high.

Hodl? This is actually the moment I really got into hodling. To me, I believe it's the best time to hodl (especially if you bought when the price was really low). That wasn't a financial advice tho.

Yes, everything is getting hard, but selling my bitcoins is not something I have in mind haha Grin. I have been holding my coins for quite a long time now; I bought some coins in 2018 after the price dropped and I also bought coins around April 2019; I have been holding these coins without plans to sell them yet, though I initially planned that I'm going to be selling them if the price of bitcoin should go up due to the halving that was said to take place on May.

As of now I don't really know what I'm going to do next, think I'm just going to leave them there till the right time to sell them. Even fiat has been turning to a disappointment as of recent, and bitcoin seems to be a way out I think.

I am not new to bitcoin and I am not going to sell my coins. Right now I have stopped using the coins I have stored in my wallet, just left them there. The price of bitcoin will increase, the only thing is that it's going to take time before the price will go up.

I know that there's been a change in what was planned, but I still look forward to the halving making some good impact in the price of bitcoin. Most of us believed that the halving that was to take place in the month of May was going to cause an increase, we should all hold on to that belief, there can still be a change, it's not the end yet.
