Do you agree that we cannot stop gambling because it completed all our emotions and do you have other feelings when you gamble.
Either a positive emotion or a negative emotion, it will always be there because we gamble to have fun and to make some money as well.
The case in gambling, you might feel different emotion as you gamble since it's not always positive, losing are more possible to happen. Emotion can take you to many places, so always look for the bright side and commit with your strategy and limit, don't over budget and gamble because of your too much emotion, self-control is still advisable at any situation, forget that emotion when you are already losing to avoid any risk and losses.

Totally agree with your opinion, it's true that we will definitely be faced with all emotions when gambling.
We also have to be able to control ourselves so as not to be consumed by the negative side of gambling.
Maybe only a few people are wise in gambling and can control themselves.
Sometimes most people in the end cannot control themselves when gambling because they hope to win big.
There have been many cases that prove that when they gamble, they will sink into their addiction and will always end up causing problems.

The strange thing is that before gambling we know that emotion can destroy our game and money. Also we read often how emotions in gambling can make you lose and we are confident that other gamblers can't control their emotions while we will have no issues.

But as soon as we started to gamble, we do not realize the emotion overcomes us and due to that, we may spend more money on gambling, on losing we try to cover the losses, and on winning we become greedy and keep on playing. All of these things are because we are unable to control our emotions just like ordinary gambler.

I keep emotions to a minimum, I guess that's why I don't get carried away or lose large amounts of chasing losses. I understand however that emotions play an important role according to what we can see in several threads on the forum: people who went over budget and ended up losing too much by chasing losses, or who after winning a jackpot continued betting to end up losing everything and more.

Anyone who has problems controlling their emotions and tends to get carried away by them should be very careful with gambling.

Yes, I agree it has to do with those feelings but from the scientific point of view those feelings are a consequence of what actually makes people to stick to casinos.
There are several studies which address the chemical of the brain and the risk-reward mechanisms that occur, which are the ones that trigger those feelings and the possibility of addiction to gambling.

Do you agree that we cannot stop gambling because it completed all our emotions and do you have other feelings when you gamble.
Funny thing is our emotions and not logic is responsible for most of our gambling behaviours and addictions. It plays a huge role. To be able to control our gambling, we need to understand the other factors involved. In my estimation, I believe that experienced gamblers do not have a depressive feelings when they lose because for them "you win some and you lose some".
When you do already have the good control of your emotion then it would be getting in line with your mindset which you could able to control on what actions you should make.
On the time that you had sufficient experience and awareness on how gambling should be handled on then you wont really be making yourself get that addicted to it too much.
Speaking about emotion then we do really have lots of mixed emotion on the time we do gamble not only that thrill and anger but also happiness and joy specially
when we do win up certain bets. This is where some people been looking for is on that they do really been entertained.

When we gamble we feel all the emotions, like when we feel excited when we are chasing our losses, feeling happy when we won a big amount, feeling depressed when we lose and we feel frustrated when what we expected to happen did not materialize, this is one of the reasons why we cannot stop gambling because we feel all the emotions.

Do you agree that we cannot stop gambling because it completed all our emotions and do you have other feelings when you gamble.
I could remember when I started gambling, it was a big emotion for me whenever I have big expectations on a particular game and I finally lose the bet. I always feel so attached to my games and when I finally make winnings, I do over rejoice because I always expect to make winnings Everytime I play bets. I was later that I decided to reduce the rate of emotion I put on bets so that I will not be too affected when I make loses. It took me sometimes before I could work on myself and fixed those emotions in their right places.

OP you absolutely right gambling covers all emotional feelings from that tingling feeling when you have actually won to the anxiousness of your bet about to be won that exhilirating feeling of actually seeing your game scale through the storm.

It offer also that  frustrating feeling of wanting to win but just can't actually get your hands around it

The bitter feeling of loss and wanting to recover from that loss

Gambling is just something else

ambling is very interesting because it is addictive, as you have said there are many feelings that arise when we gamble, whether it is feelings of happiness, anger, or focus. when we win there are a lot of happy feelings, are created and it's like creating a dopamine effect in the mind (and self-control is very important because it's addictive). When my busy life stresses me out, there are 3 things I do, it's playing the piano, watching Korean/Chinese dramas, or playing slots.
And when we lose, that's making us more emotional because we think that we're near the time that we should be able to win those losses back again.
All the emotions are there and it can't be stopped when we're too active and feeling bad. That's why don't make decisions when we're too emotional because you'll never know what can happen with that decision when you're not feeling good.

It is important that when people gamble they keep their emotions in check, without a doubt gambling can be a very exciting activity especially when you are having a good day and you are winning a lot of money, but stories of people being ahead and then losing everything on the same night are as old as casinos themselves, and if that were to happen to you then your emotions will make a full swing from being extremely happy to extremely sad and this is something that is too much for people to take and it could be the beginning of a gambling addiction if you are not careful.

What is certain is that we gamble for fun, and if we can make money, it will be a bonus to enjoy the results of these wins. But don't forget that loss may come more often than victory, so we must control our emotions to reduce the number of defeats. By doing that, we can get pleasure from gambling, and maybe we can also benefit from gambling. And yes, remember to set a limit for the amount of money you use to gamble because it's important to minimize the number of losses that can occur at any time.

Emotions are the part of the life. Not even in gambling its matter in your whole life. Like if you become father your emotions will be in happiness mood.
And if there will be anyone died in your family. Your emotions come out in the shape of tears.
In gambling sadness, happiness are common.

But these should be controlled otherwise they will destroy you.

There was a day I had mixed feelings and emotions during football match because of gambling. In every match i always support opposition small club to beat big clubs. That gives me joy to a very large extent. One day I placed a bet that big team wins small team, but during the match, I forgot that I placed a bet and I was seriously supporting the small team to beat the big team, not until I realised that I had a running bet and immediately changed my mood and emotions to support a club I didn't want to support  Grin

I agree that we feel emotions when gambling but feeling depressed is one thing that have to be watched, the moment you start feeling depressed I will highly recommend you stop gambling immediately because it can drastically affect ones mental health negatively.
One thing I try not to do is to gamble with my emotions but rather gamble for fun.
And I always get to advise people to use the money you can afford to lose because most times even when we try not to get addicted to gambling, we later find out that it gets out of our control because most times we want to recover our loses and do everything possible to do so, making us indulge in revenge gambling and  at times ends with a negative result and situations like that leads to depression, especially when we gamble with money we can't afford to lose.

We indeed feel various emotions when we take risks in general. It's normal to feel many emotions all at once or even sudden change of emotion especially if the situation you are into quickly turns into something unexpected. Winning a bet can give a person the feeling of satisfaction, enjoyment, and fleeting feeling that as if you are on a cloud-9. However, the moment you lose, all of those happy feelings will fade away and turn into melancholy. We are humans, it's perfectly normal to have those emotions varying in scenarios we are in.

But for me, this isn't enough to justify that someone must not quit gambling or even do moderate and responsible gambling just because he feels all these emotions to make him alive. It's still a matter of discipline. Emotions are part of a human nature. Using it as an excuse just to justify your bad gambling habits because you feel like you exist and you feel high is just so wrong on so many levels. We should still be able to analyze and recognize every situation we are in. We should know when to continue and when to stop. We should control our emotions and not the other way around.

Feelings are what gambling appeals to. It is the feeling of being entertained with the prospect of winning that many actually gamble. If you are bored, you can also go to the casino and feel the fun. When you lose, you'll have this strong feeling of getting back, of taking revenge against the casino. This is exactly how the casinos would want their clients, to be emotional, to have intense feelings. The effect of casinos to their players is mostly psychological.
But we should be able to suppress feelings of wanting revenge against the casino because it only makes us suffer more, especially when we spend more money and suddenly you lose. Try to cheer yourself up when you lose and not be too sad because you should already know what the risks of playing gambling are. If you can do that, you will be able to get rid of the negative feelings that will arise if you experience defeat. At least the feeling won't be great because you already know that gambling can give you both wins and losses.

We must be able to control our emotions that arise when we win or lose. But we do not immediately learn this ability to control. We need to be able to rein in this emotion that arises during gambling. We should know that our goal is to win, but losing is also a possibility. We must act accordingly. As a matter of fact, all these show the necessity of having a strong psychology.
It is not easy to control our emotions, especially when we win because we will feel the urge to continue playing gambling or because we want to get more money from the next win. That's why we have to learn to control our emotions when we lose or win so that we don't get caught up in our own emotions and don't experience more defeats. Maybe our goal is to win, but we should also be able to see how big our chances are of winning in the next round by seeing how many defeats we have experienced.

Everyone "knows" that they should stop and not gamble instead of chasing the loss, that’s a common thing and should be known by everyone of course.

However, not everyone really realizes how big we are talking about those emotions could get, and that’s the problem. I am not saying that everyone will fail and just keep on gambling and losing, of course not everyone will do that, but some people will definitely have harder time compared to other people and that’s normal because not everyone is equal mentally. I would be easily stopping, I limit myself and that’s normal but to become like this I had to educate myself very much and not everyone can do it, which is the trouble.
Indeed it is a common thing but most people will try to recover from losses by gambling more because they think that by playing longer, it can give them a chance to win. But the truth is that many people fail and don't realize that they have lost a lot. If we can easily stop, it will help us avoid losing a lot and control our emotions well. How hard we try to control ourselves will help us limit ourselves to gambling.

In my opinion, in every person who plays gambling, of course there will be something called emotion, which makes you annoyed or curious about the game you are playing in gambling, because it is all city games that want to make you emotional and curious, if that happens then you will continue to be provoked to make bigger bets, and in the end it is a trap for you from what the bookie does to you, so that you bet continuously to gamble, that's probably my thought..
