I like the idea of MrBitcoin to be near and close to the name of the known content creator who gives free money. With the idea of giving free bitcoins well the guy should be someone who's really wealthy and considered as a whale to the point that the bitcoins he's giving won't affect his total holdings.

As per the OP said, it will not affect his total holdings because he'll have sponsors and will promote any known campaign. The challenge for MrBitcoin should be entertaining and most of the community supports his way and approach when it comes to BTC.

It is impossible for someone to be MrBitcoin if he only has the bitcoin for giveaways, sense of humor and being an intellectual must include as one of the requirements.

here's what @Kakmakr stated regarding bitcoin for giveaways;
Well, MrBitcoin will be getting more bitcoins out of this, than what he would be giving away. Remember Bitcoin companies could sponsor some of these videos for advertisement.. Also, when Mr. Beast visit a Bitcoin merchant, that merchant would get FREE advertising.  Wink
Imagine Overstock sponsoring a good video and getting millions of views?  I bet you, if this takes off, other Bitcoin companies would also start to sponsor some videos.

Now that I knew the factors to be MrBitcoin, I think it's really hard, it's someone that is very extraordinary and very responsible.

The only MrBitcoin for me was Satoshi Nakamoto, I don't think it's satisfying if we're receiving free bitcoin on him since he/she already created the bitcoin and blockchain, that's enough for me.

You had a point but how because satoshi nakamoto want their identity private and anonymous, if ever this scenario come nothing doubt bitcoin become too expensive and people encourage to adopt bitcoin woldwide to invest in tgis new form of money.

the problem here (apart from getting newbies who want to get rich quick which was mentioned before) is that unlike fiat you first have to educate people about bitcoin, you can't just hand over some coins and wish it helps adoption. most of them would just go to some website like coinbase, dump it and get out.
if you want a MrBitcoin then check out Andreas Antonopoulos content on youtube. he is the "real" MtBitcoin that is educating people with correct information instead of hyping them up and telling them "you'll become rich overnight".

Andreas Antonopoulos do not have 24.3 million subscribers and that is not the kind of content that people want on Youtube. Yes, Andreas's videos are very educational, but people want something a lot more fun and that is exactly what MrBeast are giving them. If we can clone MrBeast's winning recipe for fun and port it into MrBitcoin, then we can also gather that kind of exposure.  Grin

There are also a lot of "rich" bitcoiners that can donate some bitcoin towards a project like this and they will get a higher price for their remaining bitcoins, because the higher adoption goes... the higher the price will go.  Cool

Bitcoin was very precious than USD, whoever MrBitcoin is, his/her giveaway was limited to some dates because we knew that the market wasn't stable, it might affect his/her too. IMO, all of the users that consists huge amount of bitcoin was affiliated with a business category so they will not waste any bitcoin they have at this point just to gain popularity like mrBEAST.

MrBitcoin might also visit smaller online shops that accepts Bitcoin as a payment option and buy all their items that are on offer. When Fiat merchants sees this, they might start to adopt Bitcoin in the hope that MrBitcoin would visit them too.  Wink

Exactly the content that I'll be looking out for when a 'MrBeast' in the crypto industry would start off.

We don't need a social media clown like MrBeast to promote bitcoin.I think that 90% of his subscribers and viewers are kids and teens. This isn't the perfect demographic,if we want fast adoption, however it might help in the long run.I remember that Pewdiepie had some cryptocurrency related videos back in the day,but it was  just comedy.

Well, it's because people weren't taking cryptocurrency seriously back then, and if there would be a same MrBeast in terms of Bitcoin then I don't think he'd have kids and teens watching him, probably people who are just looking out for entertainment, it's not all about giving and donating, it's by simply helping out people, it's not only self-promotion, it's also promoting cryptocurrency, I don't even think people classified him as a social media clown rather than a guy who is willing to help out, he uses comedy to not only put MONEY around the content he does because that would be extremely boring and would make him look like he's only promoting his self and the amount of money he can give, we want a MrBeast in the crypto community but NOT EXACTLY the attitude and the looks of the MrBeast in YouTube, you're getting the whole point wrong.

Damn, I like the idea, I mean MrBeast is HUGE and if  someone was to put something with the same content but on a different  aspect which is Bitcoin then I think that content creator(YouTuber) would probably become internet famous and not only that but MrBeast started off as a very small channel and had nothing to start up with his YouTube channel but when he got recognized even more he gain more of what he gives and as a result, he'll be able to give out more, he's strategy is simple and he uses his money to help out people instead of spending it on useless stuff, and if someone in the BTC community would be as generous as he would be then I think that's a good idea.

But that would also mean that MrBitcoin should have a good amount of Bitcoin.

MrBeast truly is popular but that is also because he has a lot of money to spare to his videos.

He makes challenges or games using the money he earned from his pasts videos. I don't think people would be wanting to spend their Bitcoin that much, maybe there are some but most of the people I know won't be doing that.

This won't work. MrBeast videos became most watched because of the content that caught anyone attention.

Bitcoin or crypto, even how good it is can't just easily catch anyone's attention due to lack of interest.

But if ever, there's someone who will do this. I will support it.

This won't work I think. The only reason why Mr. Beast can spend a lot of money is because he is being funded by thousands or even millions of people and being sponsored by companies.  If we make MrBitcoin, he would need a lot of money in order to do absurd things. In this crypto space, every cryptocurrency is important and I don't think people will be able to fund him. Dollar is nothing and can be printed in many times but Bitcoin has a fixed supply so Bitcoin would be much more expensive.

What do you think?

Example of some of his videos --->  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foLlul8Tl3E or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TflpIllQHY
I don't think he would consider it out unless if hes that kind of person which is open-minded then he might able to take the bait.
Raising up a channel that had kind of amount of subs wont really be that easy no matter how millionaire you are it would still takes time to complete those numbers.
Therefore, you wont have any choice but to convince that dude neither introduce or do imply Bitcoin or advertise it on his channel for some
certain amount of fee for that kind of advertisement. This would neither impact or not because we know that most audience are online games oriented.
So it will matter on how he do explain to the masses on what Bitcoin is all about and curiosity would comes next.

This can be a good idea. Now, we really need to find somebody who is willing to give away some of his hoard of Bitcoin for this idea to prosper. Actually giving Bitcoin is not so different with the faucets which became popular when Bitcoin was just a young and unknown fellow. I am sure anybody can be interested to receive some free Bitcoin and though many will just convert them to cash the point is that this is a good promotion just like giving away free samples of products we can find in supermarkets. I hope some people here in the forum are willing to adopt this idea or maybe we can even ask this very forum to spearhead a promotion like this.

before even trying to do gimmicks to get people to buy bitcoin under the ruse of saying its 'digital cash'. there needs to be a resurrection of projects aimed at getting merchant adoption onboard again.
by resurrection i mean just that. i seen plenty of it in 2012-2015 but then it died out when core decided to treat btc as a reserve investment and not digital cash.
(btc being the digital gold asset locked up and LN's millisats being the gold backed promisory notes(bank notes))

if the only reason to advertise to people is to say the price will rise. then that is a crap advertisement.

i totally understand some holders only desire to get new people in, so that the new people can raise the price just so the holders can exit. but thats just selfish and just about going back to fiat rich. much like adverts for ponzis do by not advertising any utility the asset offers but just promising gains in returns
when advertising has nothing to do with bitcoins purpose or features or options and just about 'get rich quick' then it tars bitcoin with a scammy, scheming gimmick.

just check out this board. more people are only wanting to talk about how to pump bitcoins price and not how to get new merchants onboard

i know a few people will reply with 'but whats wrong with it just being a investment'.. the answer is that those saying such dont care about bitcoins future once they exit richer.

so until people start caring less about their exit to fiat strategy and instead start caring about what can bitcoin be used to buy whilst staying in the community. its not worth advertising it.
many people have been sold on the digital cash pitch only to find its pretty much useless as such in most towns, thus not truly a valued asset, but just a pricey asset.

Yes, I can imagine if there is a character of Mr. Bitcoin that can be known to many people besides us users of the Blockchain. Indirectly, it will boost the number of Bitcoin adoptions. If there is, then who and from whom funds to realize this.

It is important to recognize the power of social media platforms to hasten Bitcoin's adoption and these are proven effective tools to spread influence! Now I also think we can also do things even in our own little ways to spread awareness on Bitcoin and that starts even with an ordinary conversation among our peers Smiley

MrBeast isn't just giving away money he might also be earning from sponsored ads and Google Adsense and using part of the money for his giveaways

If that so, I would like to initiate to be MrBitcoin haha!
Sponsors through free advertising was a great deal and bitcoin for an exchange but still, it's a great responsibility to entertain people with a vast knowledge of bitcoin.

Imagine Overstock sponsoring a good video and getting millions of views?  I bet you, if this takes off, other Bitcoin companies would also start to sponsor some videos.

mrBitcoin should have at least good standards so he can promote the legit one.

Interesting idea, but aside from money or sponsor problem, how do we teach users to set up Bitcoin wallet easily without using custodial and make sure they got common security sense.

It is quite simple, down his video discription, he can then put links of tutorials on how to setup Bitcoins and how to secure it safely.

It would be a great idea if someone from the Bitcoin whales will heed what OP suggests.  Imagine over 20m subscriber to be notified once the video about Bitcoin advertisement is created by Mr.Beast plus the  promotional giveaways of BTC.  This sure can cater more interest than what we imagine.
