Don't quite understand what are you trying to say. Bitcoin is already decentralized, it always has been. There is no central bank or any other centralized regulator who would control Bitcoin. Do you wanted to say that we need another strong decentralized cryptocurrency besides Bitcoin?

Me too, I am puzzled since bitcin is alreay a decentralized currency. I think in my opinion he wants all systems even the banks to be removed? Fully decentralized country? I think the government will not make it happen.
I guess you are right. Maybe OP was trying to say : even bitcoin is a decentralised system still it is not coming to action in our everyday life.
In other words, bitcoin is just evolving and he still wants each and every one will be using decentralized assets (hopefully bitcoin) and without any need of any centralized systems.

Hopefully we are already moving towards that. Expecting that to happen in overnight will be insane. Because we are into centralised system for centuries. So we must need time to come out of it.

Decentralisation of Bitcoin? Isn't it already?

I have no idea but as long as we have other altcoins we shold be relatively safe my doodie
It's the nature of crypto currencies and not just bitcoin. It's decentralize and it attracts people because we wanted to have our own freedom and not to be controlled by the government.

Yes, cryptocurrency yet decentralized. But the government is attempting to take control over it. Let's hope that this does not happen

Yes we need decentralized currency now, i think bitcoin is decentralized, you only can control bitcoin is you have a really huge amount of bitcoin and you played pump and dump and i think the ownership of bitcoin is quite spread out, so nobody can really control it

I apparently sure that Bitcoin is already decentralized as it is, what more do you want ? if you're thinking about other currency theres no other one that will be decentralized than bitcoin . thats why bitcoin is so powerful nowadays. and it will be more powerful when time goes more. can you list a reason why do you think bitcoin is not yet decentralized?

Decentralisation isn't some cool idea its now a necessary tech we need for free speech to continue in the west. Twitter and Google are showing how they can clamp down on dissent even in their own countries.
What are our current options?

The current options are altcoins, since bitcoin is not 100% fully anonymous and decetralized then altcoins is the next option, zcash is new so don't have much information how it is and how it works, and about Synero haven't heard before, maybe ETH?
those alt coins some of them also not fully anonymous. as far as i know monero is true anonymous because the transaction can't be traced and you not leaving any footstep in every your activity so nothing to worry about if you're doubting about your privacy and you use this coin
so, analyze before choosing altcoin and be sure to use the right ones

I'm not saying that all altcoins are full anonymous but there exists at least one that is full anonymous and decentralized, i think zcash it too or/and ebitz which is going to launch soon.

I wasn't talking about coins, I was talking about how as a society we must have systems in place that those in power can't censor or shutdown. Seeing Twitter and FB being used as tools for those in power and seeing censorship in our current media that attacks the gov like many sites being shut down under the propaganda they are alt right sites etc.

I want, no need a decentralized currency

Bitcoin is a decentralized currency isn't it?

Deep web not a Dark or Black one, is an option. But how can you find the information you want?  On the other side if google tracks you have you ever tried other search engines?  DuckDuckGo is my choice

OP should not be looking of another crypto currency as bitcoin is already here willing to serve him. It's not the system only which is important but he needs to consider the adoption rate. Bitcoin is very progressive and people are adopting because they believe, bitcoin is the future of decentralization.

What you mean? The Bitcoin network is already very descentralized, like never happened (not even close) in a matter that five years ago I can't even predict something like that and now there are so many ideas and so much people and companies putting ideas to roll that's unbelievable.... It's a lot of fuel to Bitcoin fire. Take a look into the charts showing the nodes the system has and (if you can) where it's placed. The descentralization is fully working and each day passed a new "somewhere" embraces the cause.

Yes, of course, as of now we are enjoying the decentralization benefits as accorded by Bitcoin and other cryptocurencies. However, nothing is perfect in this world and anything we thought can be fool-proof may not be 100% as it should be when exposed against the barrage of human nature. I am sure that this whole thing is also evolving so we can expect more improvements and innovations along the way.

Successful decentralization is closely related to observing the design principles of: finance following functions; informed decision making; adherence to local priorities; and accountability. However, applying these principles in practice has not proven to be simple. Country circumstances differ, often in subtle and complex ways, consequently the policy and institutional instruments that establish decentralization have to be shaped to the specific conditions of individual countries.

the option is obviously only bitcoin!
only a fool thinks altcoins are decentralized, specially those that have been getting pump and dumps and some of those which had a huge premine, ICO ,... other ways to take the control of 80-90% of the available coins.
and only a pumper will name altcoins as good and without centralization and manipulation to hype the coins for a temporary pump before moving on to the next.

if bitcoin was centralized it had already forked like other coins e.g ETH which had 4 hard forks already!!!
it is the decentralization of bitcoin that doesn't allow an easy big change!

We don't need to change what we're using. At all. The current system is fine and I doubt many (or any) people have an issue with what we currently do when it comes to the system.

While the need for decentralization for more industries is becoming more interesting and in-demand, Bitcoin is not something that is in danger of being censored. Your social media is at risk if anything.

I agree. Bitcoin is doing fine and we don't need to worry about decentralization thing because bitcoin has been and will always be in this form for it was designed this way by it's creator. For me, we don't need to jump out of bitcoin and go with other altcoins because bitcoin has been guaranteed to be safe and the transactions made out of it is not being traced by anyone in the community. We're all safe in bitcoin.

that's for sure, Bitcoin is very easy to use, especially when you need anonymity. The state should not interfere in this system
