ZCash replacing Bitcoin? I don't think was ever a possibility. ZCash is insanely slow and resource demanding, plus nobody should trust a project that depends on the developers destroying the masterkey that would give access to the entire supply without anybody realizing movements are being made.

Your situation is an special one... I wish to know an altcoin myself with realistic possibilities to make me rich but I can't think of any. Maybe put 1000 in ETH, 1000 in XMR, 1000 in other altcoin of choice, then the rest all in on BTC.

I think you miss my point. I think that people are completely losing sight of what crypto is about, when they write that fiat is the sure thing.

It's far more of a sure thing than all Altcoins combined.

FIAT is 100% backed by the worlds govt's.
It's why the US fed reserve exists in the first place.
It's why there was bail outs in 2008 after the recession that hit.
Which by the way was essentially nothing more than a copy of shitcoins being traded..
hollow worthless investments that eventually collapsed under the weight of greed.
Just like the Altcoin scene.

Who is bailing out Altcoins ?

6 years is a long time. I wouldnt trust in any coin except Bitcoin to survive for such a long perid of time. Maye about 10% ETh but everything else is dead in 6 years I guess.

the main problem here is the timeframe of this investment which is a long time (6 years).
many things can change in this long period. even bitcoin or even gold can go down a lot, because we don't know what can happen.

the only thing that is sure is fiat itself. but as an investment you should always divide the capital into multiple things and always have a way of pulling out if they go down. for example you can get someone who you trust to do it for you and if you can find that person you can then think about going in full.
