ICN is also a good investment for long term since im one of its early investors i could say that this coin has the potential, regarding to OP i would suggest to invest too same as you said but dont invest all of the amount he had its better to put either 1/2 or 2/3 of his total money to ICN and the rest would be on Bitcoin.

If you put it in a bank you can collect guaranteed interest.. rather than Crypto-Gambling.
You will also most likely be able to get at it easier later if you jail supports transferring funds to the jail for you.
Many let you do this i am pretty sure.

I am shocked someone would even consider sitting on any Altcoin for 6 years.
Should it not be obvious that it's a monumentally risky idea ?
The odds are clearly heavily stacked against you even breaking even let alone profiting.

But since you mentioned already buying ETH and that other coin (What ever it is)

keeping your money in cash is the best option for 6 years and the best thing if your problem with law was not of financial form is to put it in a bank to get some profit also.
but as investment I prefer two things only for long term: bitcoin and gold.
and don't invest in anything other than bitcoin in cryptocurrencies because none of them are going to be around for 6 years! and even if they are their prices are surely not going to be as high as the time you buy them.

Where i live you get about 6 years for manslaughter sometimes.
And chronic bank robbers can get that much too.. i have known a few of them.

SO.. if you are sentenced to 6 yrs.. you had to have done some pretty serious shit.
