Any fluctuations of prices seems to be unpredicted, we know already how market moves and in a certain thing that it could be affected also by some factors just like FUD's and some market manipulation. We have been stuck for almost 3 months since from a huge dip but looking it's price today, we're just moving out from that.

Just hit $9700. Up >6% last 24 hours. Will we see $10k in the next 24 hours?

It was expected one,but it doesn't happen. The value is increased upto 9900$,then start to fluctute towards 8500$.Last two days, the price is struggling in between 8000-8300$.Now the happiest news is bitcoin price had reached 8500$ again.Just hold your breath and bitcoin till tomorrow. You will get some more dollars.

Right before the Friday dip, I was contacted by two people offering to buy ~1btc each from me the next day.

Same thing is happening right now. Multiple people offering to buy ~1btc and asking if I have the volume. I am not sure if they are speculators, data miners, pumpers or what. Probably data mining. The ones today each had ~50btc trade volume.

Someone is pumping the price today, but your buy-wall's not going past my margin  Roll Eyes

Edit: As before, they never followed through.

Bitcoin is not pumping, it's price just growing. 6% for 24 hours is not a big deal for Bitcoin Smiley Waiting for something bigger.

Bitcoin has been lacking compared to ethereum lately. Even litecoin has been stronger the past few days. Ethereum is waiting for some regulation news on 7th of may which are supposed to be good for ethereum. That's why ethereum broke bullish first and it's taking some time for bitcoin to follow, funny that bitcoin is now following ethereum. I'm convinced ethereum will beat bitcoin in a few years.

Just wanted to know, with this regulations going on can we expect a much stable cryptocurrency? Or still we will see crazy volatility of the coins?
Volatility is still something that I expect we are going to be seeing for a long time, and it is a normal thing in the market. However, with the market getting big and increasing in market capitalization, I am very optimistic that over time we will get to have a more matured market than what we may likely have today without much or huge volatility as the case may be. The most important thing is just to know that we are still in the early adoption phase and there is so much still to come for this market.

This is a good price movement since the slight fall in the past few days. Again people are beggining to get their hopes high and expect too much then if their expectation could not be realized they get depressed or dissappointed i think people must think this is how it goes with cryptocurrency. We just enjoy the ride nd be wise on how we trade so that we can profit.
Were seeing a green marks recently so hopefully this is the moment that bitcoin will go up. Yes we must go with the train up and low the bear and bull runs usually happen. Hopefully market of bitcoin could continue pumping and we will see $10k marks.

Of course we are. Going to 2 500. This is "real" price. after that to 600-800
Very funny, honestly. People like you really do not surprise me anyway since your name implies you have been under hill. All the above, I am not sure we can ever get to this stage at all and that would really end up showing how weak the market is in a case like that.

Moreover, there is simply nothing to make the market get down to that level and everything you have said is basic shit. The market may be volatile and we get to see lower days, but who cares anyway, as those who are smart enough will just keep seeing it as a chance to buy more.

Unfortunately, the consensus conference was not enough to push the price to the levels that we wanted to see. We only peaked at $8700 and then the price goes on to hover around $8100-$8300. So it could be another long a road if we ever to see that 5 digits once again.

I wouldn't say that it's a long road, because that's just how long real bear market recoveries take. But consensus didn't really have an affect on price, as you said, to the disappointment to some people. I didn't expect prices to be moved that much anyways, though.

A lot of people were getting excited when bitcoin was nearing $10k, even though it was clear that the bearish sentiment in the market was still there and isn't going away probably for a long while. The truth is, the rally that we saw in the previous rally a few weeks ago was just natural volatility, and wasn't indicative of bitcoin entering a phase of bullishness.

We will enter the start of the bull market most likely in early to mid 2019, after bitcoin prices bottoms. Definitely not this year.

although prices have not been running normally these days, but I do not think prices will touch that number. at least, the pump and the good news will continue to affect the price to keep rising.

Seems like we tested 9700, went past it and inmedietly came back down (9630 right now)). 10k in the next 24h? Nah, I don't think we'll get there today, resistance still looks strong.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/goldman-sachs-says-bitcoin-is-not-a-fraud-plans-trading

Maybe this news triggered a small FOMO buying wave? the news could've the "push" some people needed to finally buy. Or it could be the market just doing its own thing.
And you got it right there, because after that $9,700 breaking price slides down until now,and its harder for bitcoin to even hit $9,000 again.

Of course we are. Going to 2 500. This is "real" price. after that to 600-800
Wow, you sound very sure, mate. That price will help you buy as much bitcoin as you can. But yeah, what if it remained that way? How would you feel? When you waste your money over something you believe it will bring you fortune. I believe in bitcoin, and it is not going to $2500, and then $600 as you said. Do not forget that many people still do not know about its existence, and when they do, the price will reach the moon.

Lol. That's a cute assumption. I also believe that even with the market not looking good most of the time this year, bitcoin's trajectory would still be upwards in the long term. With supporters ans believers growing, it's farfetched that it will go that low

That guy is gadamn retarded that has nothing to help this forum but only fud, only fool will believe that bitcoin price will drop and return to $2,500 again..until that man died bitcoin will never fall that way

Not for now mate. Let's wait and hope with Tom Lee: Next Week’s Consensus Conference Could Push Bitcoin to All-Time Highs

It may still be a correction for today but let's see until the consensus conference done next week.

Even we are increasing in value at low pace, but still the good news is that we are increasing in value. Steady increase is ultimately going to make us dance by the start of 2019. At the moment, what we can do to make all this happen is simply to support bitcoin and spread awareness about the coin because the more investors or you can say precisely buyers, more increase in the prices of the mighty coin.

Well I can take the price anytime of the day. At $8000 a pop? that's still a good price, IMHO. Of course we constantly buying so that enough I guess. We don't need to spread awareness though, I'm pretty sure that a lot of people is fully aware of what bitcoin and crypto can do, its that they are just very reluctant to enter because of the recent government bans/regulations.

Oh no please don't. But there's no real price for bitcoin since then but you want to buy to buy if this goes accurate right?

2 500 is real price. Do yourself a favour - admit it
I want to admit that the real price of bitcoin must be $10,000 and more up to the peak of $20,000. But yeah doing yourself a favour @$2,500 would help you buy more.

You cannot possible think that 2500 will be the price. This is nothing fall is for few hundred in price not in thousands, so breaking to this low level is nearly impossible.
However if you wish to sell at this price your stash i will buy it.
Well things really hard to tell with this system, the price makes people interested with seeing how high or how low it be, the matter is how players react with the sway and how they will manage to take advantage, I'm positive that it won't fall to that level after seeing how support really holding up, if this price between 8k-10k$ then bull run will be much stronger after the second quarter of this year, just keep holding and enjoy the scene that is ongoing right now.

Are you really sure about that? For me its hard to think about because the price right now wasn't doing well and even bitcoin doesn't increase as whats been speculated. Maybe that price right now on ranges until 1000 this year, but in a long run it will crash because of many new eth platform tokens that's showing up in the market.
