Haha

Western Union is going to be made obsolete by blockchain technology and everyone knows it.

They float this rumor to make their stock jump, key people will sell out and then the slow "Blockbuster Video" type descent will begin...

Fuck the established middlemen!

WE don't need them!!

 Cool Cool Cool Cool

That is good news indeed, ripple is doing great job behind the curtains as we can see, many crypto guys dont like what ripple represents and because its centralized, but they do really make a good job

As someone who uses WU (and a small holder of XRP) this is fantastic. Hope it all pans out well - surely can't be any worse than their current system.

Again I don’t see this increasing value in the currently just stability (granted I have a large investment in XRP) banks and business are not likely need tons of value for transfers.

Considering all the disputes around Ripple, the company considers itself to be a simpler and more convenient payment system and does not pretend to be a cryptocurrency. bitcoin will never be used for payments. Most likely, the leading cryptocurrency will become a digital analog of gold and will act as a repository of value.

Where did people get this information? Because they did not say anything like that, they're starting to test Ripple. Although maybe I certainly missed something, but I think that no one is testing anything, it's just manipulation.

Research folks, western union wont announce it because it is a FUD just like what XRP did in the coinbase FUD,XRP is so desperate now because most of the people knew that this coin wants our community to be centralized if this coin would dominate our market it will be the end of satoshi's dream for us.This news will still remain a FUD without any confirmation from western union. For me i wouldnt waste an extra bitcoin for this centralized coin,i hate the bankers that is why i bought crptocurrencies especially privacy coins!

The fact of supporting Ripple by banking systems doesn't make it more centralized ?

Don't think so, but it the best adopted coin by banks atm.
Normally, it was meant to be the banker's coin, so I see no reason why bankers should not stick with a centralized coin compared to decentralized coin. However, I do not see anything much in the OP's video and nothing much about what the OP is talking about anywhere online. Also, I have always had reservations for XRP and I do not see that changing for any reason.

A lot of attention is being given to ripple these days by financial institutions and I am not surprised anyway. Even though I never liked everything about ripple and the idea that something about it has always been fishy, it seems for the profit, this one may be a good one to have some little bit of amount that I can afford to lose in, after all, we are mainly here for the long term benefit or who isn't.

Let's see how this goes for ripple anyway, but so far, it looks like the chart on its own is even looking good to be a part of for some short or long profit.

Watch XRP overtake ETH again for Marketcap soon....

I don't really get it why ripple is so interesting, yes they have their own protocol but surely they have full bags of premined coins + there is no guarantee that financial institutions and banks will use XRP for their network, I mean they can simply create some new token. I guess when people hear regulation + something for companies and banks they want to buy in but the fact is ripple is opposite from what the first intention was for cryptocurrency and even they act as some sort of a middleman for banks...

The fact of supporting Ripple by banking systems doesn't make it more centralized ?
And who said that this coin is decentralyzed? The most centralyzed and known coin is ripple and I think we all know it and if we say oppositely, seems we try to lie ourself.
Why did they decide to add crypto on payments? And why did they choose ripple over bitcoin, ethereum and etc? What did they see something unique which wasn't in them?

It's obvious why Ripple is so attractive for the financial sector: this guys can't live without controlling each coin movement.
From other side, such deals are definitely good for crypto marekt, because Ripple is a cryptoasset, even centralized one.

Ripple has made more progress with partners than any other cryptocurrency. Just last week, it signed a deal with foreign exchange giant UAE Exchange, and it has also made moves into the Chinese online shopping market. The Asian arm of the company, SBI Ripple Asia, has made a lot of headway with Japanese and South Korean banks in adopting blockchain solutions for money transfers.

Super news from Western Union! They currently testing Ripple (XRP) for future money transfers.
Western Union Says It's Testing Transactions With Ripple

I hope these are some steps that can make XRP price very expensive I hope this is the trigger and the resurrection of XRP because XRP is a coin that has long been made and very little development of its cooperation.
If these will be success then maybe XRP will have the chance to increased its value. Since it is moving slowly at least they find ways on how they can make their value more expensive. Well, everything can be achieved if more people will support this innovation.

I know Ripple has it's haters as it isn't "decentralised" but what it does do is encompass the blockchain technology and apply it well to a real world situation. I have some XRP stored away for the future so happy to see small and steady growth in the value of the coin as its get used more and more for it's intended purpose.

Glad some of y'all have some common sense here 👍
