On the off chance that they needed to trick then they would have never discounted clients their cash. They didn't have the commitment to discount the clients their cash or to give such huge numbers of alternatives to them to guarantee their adjust, yet they did. In any case, truly, their help is completely BS.

I transfered some ETH there from Bitstamp, but it doesnt support smart contracts, so it isnt showing up.

I opened a ticket yesterday, but no response, I got a response on this forum though from WEX official. So my hope is up that it will be resolved quickly. I will post the result here!

You will need to verify, prove with transaction history, take screenshots of everything ! Including of support ticket, balance your wallet and block trail showing your funding transactions.

They will ask all those things if you want withdraw your funds.

I just withdrew 1 hour ago !

Both exchanges aren't exactly the most popular options people usually go for. One exchange (WEX) has lost its credibility, and rightfully so, and the other exchange (C-CEX) is a straight rubbish exchange. In other words, both exchanges are platforms were caution is required. Is there any particular reason you to prefer WEX over an exchange as Bitstamp, Gemini, Kraken, GDAX? From certain Russian's I know that WEX is by far the best option for them to go for - do you fit in that category as well? Either way, I'm glad to hear that your 'issue' is resolved now.

I finally got verified with Wex.nz, took about 5 goes before they were happy with it though, but then still had to raise another ticket to get them to unblock my withdraws. Anyway, they may have their problems but I prefer them to c-cex.com.

Yeah beware, you can't even verify now, they just take your ID and details.

Should of known, half the website doesn't even work.   Comes up in foreign language.  Complete SCAM 100%

They have now swapped to a service trying to grab ID's, identification in attempts to forge/sell on identity information.

I am a victim was well.  On the same day as others, I was systematically hacked and lost access to my Gmail account.  Numerous contact attempts all end with no result and a closed or unanswered ticket.

WEX.NZ is now closing out help tickets and ignoring us. After verification, ID, pciture, passport, selfies, etc, they now close out the tickets and no longer corresponding!!! SCAMMERS.

Damn, that sucks. I can't say I'm surprised. This was the exact same MO that BTC-e had for locked out accounts. They would ask for everything under the sun for verification, then they would simply freeze you out and close the tickets without unlocking the account/resolving the issue. A lot of people have had this happen, and it's the reason why the BTC-e forum account here has negative trust.

I used their service for years, and my feeling was always that if something went wrong and I needed support or verification, that the funds were simply lost. I was okay with that because their service was reliable and automated like clockwork.

I have the same problem. My account is locked, I have followed the verification process, but they will not unlock my account or do anything.

They do not respond to any tickets that you raise. It looks like they are just lining up another scam to steal from the last remaining users.

do not limit yourself to just posting this in a forum, you should go to the police and report your case, here you will not get anything.



if you have any problems with them then you go to the police and report your problem, these guys have already been involved in serious problems and they have bad reputation and even with this bad reputation many people decided to continue to use the shady services provided by them and I wonder what exactly the people who decided to use their shady services expected? Did they expect them to provide the best service? to think like that would be very naive, I'm sorry but the truth.

I think by now we should be aware that BTC-e or Wex.nz has one of the worst support out there. I didn't stay with them that long when I have experience my first issue with them. Although they were able to resolved them, I have to like open a lot of goddamn tickets to caught their attention. I don't know though if you can speak Russian, but I didn't so I just have to bother them everyday and I promised myself not to deal with them again. Too bad you are now trapped.

You might give me another idea to take their attention (open tons of goddamn tickets). Anyone know their account here in bitcointalk ? It was the most stupid thing when joining btc-e or wex, just because I didn't know any other better places to trade BTC in past....

they won't respond from these accounts anymore. they are trying to appear as if btc-e is completely dead and the database and obligations of users were "bought" by an "investment company" which launched WEX. it makes no sense, but whatever.

unfortunately, btc-e was always very reliable and their interface worked perfectly. but when things occasionally go wrong, their support is terrible. seriously, if you have a russian-speaking friend, now is the time to reach out to him. i know westerners who got permanently locked out of their accounts when they lost 2FA. my russian friend had it sorted in one day (with 2-week lockout period).

the thing here is that clearly they do not have a solution yet for ip whitelist/2FA problems. and like i said, sadly, some users have been permanently locked out of their accounts because of these issues --- and this was before the FBI seizure. many people have given the same report: back and forth with support, providing document after document, answering questions about funding deposits and proving control of depositing addresses, then silence...... Undecided

People have been sending their main forum account loads of PM's and haven't seen anything back, ever. You have done the only right thing already, and that's submitting various tickets instead of just one.

BTC-E is either genuinely lacking manpower to handle everything, which is quite common for them, or they are on purposely avoiding answering support tickets ~ both scenarios may very well apply to an exchange as BTC-E.
