$SAND I think is great for the long term. I also have a long-term goal to invest in $SAND.
SAND is proven as a good altcoin. You can use SAND for a short-term investment, not only a long-term. You can see how good the development of SAND price is, during 2021. There were many times that the price increases significantly. So, you can take advantage of the price increases, then you can buy again when there is a big correction or decrease. I think to do both short and long term is a better way in investing SAND.

Sand is promising. And for Axie Infinity, it's either you buy an Axie, ron, SLP or AXS.
Actually if it's for Axie, I'll just get in with Ron and SLP. I think that the opportunity is with those tokens. I just think that for the early stage of that project, it's better to have those two, well, honestly axs is also a must have but I don't think I'll be investing a lot there.

New coins commonly will utilize the pump and dump, so be careful.

You have a good choices to invest especially to mina and sand. I suggest that you also explore metaverse tokens because that is the current trend in the market right now. DYOR on it and it will definitely benefit you once that those metaverse token will pump massively. 
Investing in new altcoins the risks that we face are greater, especially for now many altcoins are present so it is very difficult to choose coins that have high potential for the future, so with the current declining market situation we better choose old coins that have promised to increase in the future, for example bnb, polkadot and ethereum because the coin has been spread across many exchanges so that the price increase is very easy to increase.
Good pick, those mentioned alts are very possible to increase back once Bitcoin start to move forward, there are many other options but you need to sort it up and try to spend time before picking project to invest your money. New project: if you are planning to invest better to make sure to use the amount that you are willing to let go, it takes time for some new asset to grow while some have that capabilities of quick pump and die after.
That's too much risk to take and you need to face that if you are looking for decent profits.

The three coins you mentioned above are one of the promising altcoins so they currently have a good chance of buying more and sticking around for the long term. Mina, ctd and sand has potential like no other project out there but it is one of the most growing projects and I'm sure they will create some new sensations going forward. 
I recommend starting to invest in metaverse projects like $sand or other AR VR projects. Metaverse is gaining popularity now, we will enjoy the long-term benefits we invest here. Or you can have an NFT project for the short to medium term.

I think everything that will have a connection in the gaming industry will possibly be gaining a lot ever since the pandemic hit. Making money out of the pleasure of playing is something most kids before (now adults) are dreaming about and it's being offered now. I am part of those era and I would love to be grinding my ass to claim what is being offered with little investment to be offered.

Because nothing is certain in the price of coins or cryptocurrencies, it always requires excellent research and analysis before choosing it and what you choose is still not necessarily liked by others because all the coins you say are also not in a good rank in the market.right, that there is no certainty in crypto prices and patience is needed in determining the choice to be made, maybe about coins, I think that BoringDAO might be a reference because it is also good, although there are also many others if you want to choose there are also good ones, it all just depends proper self-analysis.

I like the prospects of helium, HNT. They are solving a real world problem and have already secured a deal with the town of San Jose to use them as a hot spot provider. If it works out well I can see a ton of interest and energy in deploying their platform as well. Think this has some legs to 5x-10x from here.

when point at promising I'm really disorganized about your thoughts over promising, i suggest that the world promising is suppose reuse for a development of coin project, so going over to the business, a coin that have good project is the coin that is suppose to buy for profit measure after going through the project because is good project of coins that determine the probability of the coin elongation for investment, for you to know good coin is from the beginning when the coin is launched and the turn up will show how potential it is,

Sand is definitely interesting.
However, I think that it is overbought due to the NFT hype and will have to correct as a matter of time.
Honestly, there isn't a lot of worthwhile projects right now to invest in given the hype of the past few months driving valuations insanely high. Just invest in bluechip coins instead.
