I use malwarebyte as my anti-virus. I use to use norton but really didn't care for it and never really protected my desktop.

ESET NOD32

Just because I got it as a gift. Thankfully no false alarm till now. I would have had unisntalled it otherwise.

Before that, I used to have bitdifender free edition. Best free one out there imo.

Tried avg and it was ok, but then I changed to Comodo. Really love the sandbox feature.

I am using Avast. Never had any problem with it. Good antivirus with great protection. And it is free. You should check it.

I can second that. I have never been let down by Avast I've never been rare indeed attacked by a virus and the false positives are rare.

+1.
Avast is indeed very good, and I am using it as well.  Smiley

Using KAV (Kasper) for almost 3 years now. It is quite cheap, and extremely effective. It prevents all the trojans and keyloggers, and the sysem doesn't hang (unlike Norton).  Grin

Time is on our side, yes it is!
I'm trying to figure this out myself.  I just tried a trail for avast because I feel like my pc of wide open..  I do think I should move away from avast but not sure what the best option is.  I'm also using a trial for Malware bytes the that is going to end very soon.  Karspersky is one I'm going to look into.

Avast Virus Database has been updated.
Window Firewall has blocked some features of this program.
Malwarebytes has successfully blocked access to a potentially malicious website.

This should be a poll.

I use Avast antivirus: your system is secured.

This is my daily anti-virus. Great options at a cheap price

Is not Avast free?
