@OP its not a gambling sites right?
[/quote]

Gambling is statistical expected return less than zero for players, so mine is not a gambling site -- some may call it a Pyramid or Ponzi, which it is not -- but at least it's definitely not gambling.

Hope it clarifies -- or does it? :-P

I'm new and could be missing many things here, but I haven't found any analytics / ROI with regard to Bitcointalk ads -- please do take my feedback as a constructive criticism, though I wish I am more constructive than I could.

Or like what Mouse mentioned above, you could try signature campaigns. Basically paying members to wear your dApps signature and avatar on a weekly basis.

Those basically get more attention.

Would you consider the advertisement to the forum slot? Right now it's on round 300 and you only have to follow the instruction as this is bidding made by our forum admin.

Depends on your budget. If you are ready to spend a few thousand dollar, I would suggest running a signature campaign here for long time with a small budget which can create some popularity and eventually get you some loyal users. You can PM me, I can assist you for that.
Social media is a good place to promote too but that's something less productive now. I would rather stay away from that.

Social Media is a great invention to get to some public. But people are overrating it heavily. Your posts are a drip in the ocean.

SM is only respnsible for 5 - 15% of clients you will get. So ask yourself where does the other ~90% come from?

- Google search !!! (So focus on having great content, blog and SEO)
- Having a great product is the key. Then you only need to launch it and people will want it and will write about it by themselves.
- Events with speakers, plus media coverage.
- Brand recognition and reputation building. If you had one good App they will wait for the next release and talk/write about it.
- Possibilities to integrate it in other products or build around it to add features. People will want to be involved and join.

Think how Satoshi posted his invention and people started picking up on it by themselves. He never did any marketing. It just took a few years.
Most coins that came after needed to rely on marketing tactics to push it instead of natural growth. Some with success but many failed, for example in the
competition to create the next Bitcoin 2.0 that is anonymous and would not be tracable. (not the most important feature anyway)

Thanks for the great tips master!

In fact, as I'm learning from Bitcointalk minute-by-minute, I can see the more recent bounty campaigns place much emphasis on social media, like this one -- https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-crypcore-referral-program-bounty-campaign-round-1-5193409
Yes , however you still need funds to pay bounty manager or else you are the one who will manage that campaign ,which is too hard if you dont have any experience.
Is your game have thier own token that can be distribute to promoters ? If not you cant make that bounty promotion i suggest to have a giveaway instead.

Before promoting your dApp ethereum based game, make sure that all are well-established and ready especially the website.

There are different ways how you can promote your project in or out of this forum. You can hire a forum user here that can manage and moderate the Announcement thread that will be created just if ever, of course for the discussions and updates of the game app.

Social Media is so popular and can get it into thread easily, however you will need people who will really use or play the game for them to be able to hype it. Like those gamers turns bloggers or streamers. If it's a exciting game then definitely people might give it a try especially those millenials that are into new things that make headline.

Signature camapign is what we are wearing under our signatures you can see it below after my post.

Like the Bitvest.io in your signature? Seems like it can not be a URL-like direct link, I guess that's a restriction imposed by Bitcointalk, right?

It would be better for the things that you are promoting if you give some information that we can read on that.

Thanks, sure.

There are so many ways to promote that dApp or the ethereum. If you want to encourage that here, you should give some details about that so we will be able to know what are things in that application. It would be better for the things that you are promoting if you give some information that we can read on that. I suggest that the best way to push that thing is on social media. Social media are internet services that let you interact with others and share and create content through online communities. Social media present great marketing opportunities for businesses of all sizes. You can use social media to promote the name of your brand and business, and there are so many users of social media, including all of the person here in this platform, so if you use social media for promoting dApp, I will assure you that it will be known from many people around the world. The best thing about social media is that when you post something and when a person finds it so attractive, then he might share it too as well, so by that many people will know that information.

Are Signature campaigns equal to bounty campaign?

As for auction ads, the 0.1~0.2 BTC for the top 10 spot seems pretty expensive to me.

*rant* it sucks to be a new user to wait 6 minutes between posts

Signature camapign is what we are wearing under our signatures you can see it below after my post.

You are mentioning forum ads ( its not signature campaign ) i think its better to have a give away on twitter than having a campaign if that was too expensive for you.

Well if its hard for you to reply as a newbie you can edit your old post then reply what you want to answer in that post.

Yes, but for the terms of bounty it includes other category like social media,YouTube, content creation, translation, telegram and other more if you plan to pay tokens.

Anyways you can pay a little bits to the forum to upgrade your membership to copper member and take out that restrictions.
