Judging by these responses it seems nobody actually watched the movies they are talking about.
Casino Royale was a James Bond movie, it wasn't about gambling. There was only 1 scene that took place at a casino. It wasn't centered at all around gambling.
Also Ocean's 11 Series is another example. It was basically a bunch of guys trying to rob a casino, the premise didn't have anything to do with gambling.
Good gambling movies are basically Rounders and 21. Those are mostly entirely centered around gambling.
Another example is a movie called "The Gambler" with Mark Walberg, it was about gambling however it was very stupid movie actually.

There are a lot of movies revolving around gambling, one of my favorites are 21. I think that is the first movie that I've watched that is really all about gambling. The other movies I love is not about Gambling but there are some moments there about gambling that I love.
Focus and The Hang over has some gambling moments that I will never forget. I don't really like Gambling genres since we all know how will they end up, trouble on the casino or either with their families and friends.
Yes 21 is an excellent movie, actually me and my friends planned to visit the real casino that time we refer some movies in our list my best movie is 21 superb screenplay and ideas are incredible but in real time those ideas will not work but one strategy helped us. in 3 card game how the group of friends can cheat casino we tried but we failed.

I really like 21. It is a movie obviously on blackjack, this kid who is a genius on math faces a university professor who gathers all the math savy kids of the school and they go to vegas every weekend and count cards and make a ton of money. It goes like that for a while and than it goes downhill from there. I found the acting really well and they looked like they knew what they were doing as well. Fun movie to have a look.Other than that, I have enjoyed hang over part 1 on its casino scenes. Even the major part of the movie was happening in vegas, the comedian's performance in casino was my favorite. He won as per he promised later on the final scenes they counted how much they have won. Somewhat casino based movie whereas giving some satisfaction like we involved into that.
I really like the Oceans movie series starring Brad Pitt, George Clooney and the rest of the cast.

Please keep in mind that those lists were not made by IMDB itself, but by its users. That's why there are a lot of poorly made (at least from my point of view) movies in there. There are some good movies there too though.

I have seen this movie and can vouch that it's a great one for gamblers to watch! Very entertaining. I also have seen 21 and that one wasn't too bad either. However, one of my favorite gambling scenes is actually from the first Hangover movie. I thought it was super awesome when Zach Galifianakis went to the casino and was doing the card counting.

I'm not sure if this is a 100% gambling movie, but I really liked The Wolf of Wall Street; I've learned a lot from that movie in terms of gambling when it comes to life and how gambling and other vices can ruin your life when you totally lose control of it. There are a lot of movies with gambling themes, my favourite is the Revolver movie where the main character enters in a very dangerous gambling game where he risk to even be left dead. There are some pretty good actors in it, with Jason Statham being the main character. I suggest you to see it in case you haven't already. For other good gambling movies just check the IMDB website database.
Some movies like thus involved with poker game was having crime related scenes like murder and assault. There's one movie I couldn't remember actually the title, and it's with casino house doing poker. I think during that first watch, eventhough am not actually fan of doing gambling but as I've focused watching the movie; that's really the best scene with gambling based movies I've ever watched. Actual strategies was revealed upon decision making, which made the main character analyzed further movements of it's opponents then won over the game.

I mentioned Teen Patti in my earlier comment. The movie was not successful commercially and I saw it at home but I will say that it is certainly one of the noticed masterpieces. All the stars in the film performed their roles very well.

Molly's Game is one of my favorites. It has got numerous nominations, including Academy Awards for Best Adapted Screenplay, and won several prizes in International Film Festivals.
Other gambling films which I would recommend to watch are the following:
1. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)
2. Revolver (2005)
3. Casino (1995)
4. Owning Mahowny (2003)
5. Rounders (1998)
There are many movies associated with gambling but their main problem is that they are often poorly made. Although I like the above mentioned movies, I still haven't seen one which I could call a really good movie about gambling.
the first gambling movie I can watch and I like is a gambling film called God Of Gamblers, played by famous artists Andy Lau and Stephen Cow, they are known as the god of gambling. but the way they do when playing is very unique, because it uses supernatural powers. though that does not make sense, but I wonder if anyone can play a gamble in real life that can do such power

Also, I would like to add a regional movie. There is a Bollywood movie "Teen Patti". It is an excellent movie based on gambling with very tight story line. All of you can give it a try with subtitles, I am sure you guys will like it for sure.
I don't remember the name of that movie,but it was completely based on the gambling.The actor has the super power to predict the future so he knows that what is going to happen so he can be a millionaire soon.Butt he don't do these kind of activities but the people blackmail him to make money for them in gambling by using his super power the climax will be how he get away from those people.Anyone remember the name of that movie?
