I understand that hardware wallets are the best and most secure crypto wallet out there if I am speaking correctly. However, mobile wallets are mostly used due to ease of access, free to use, portability, and some personal reasons. With a bunch of mobile wallets out there, choosing a good one is fast becoming a herculean task. In your opinion, what are the top 3 features one should be looking out for in every multi-currency mobile wallet?

It's quite true there are many mobile crypto wallets now and what really differentiate them is their features and advanced nature. About the features to look out for in every multi-cryptocurrency mobile wallet is; does the mobile wallet support a good number of other cryptocurrencies and if yes, for those that have staking systems, does it support it too?. Does it have fingerprint scanner for better and easy accessibility? And lastly, how often does the team release an update to enhance both security and UI?.

In choosing a crypto mobile wallet , i would go for a crypto wallet that is able to store coins/ token from multiple blockchian.   If i am able to store all by crypto assets irrespective of the blockchain and be able to securely send out and receive other assets  then i will be happy with that .

1. Better security
2. Finger print scanner
3. Transaction fee adjuster
4. Staking access inbuilt
5. Multiple support of altcoins

These are the best features I can think of right now, I don't like using desktop wallet because as we know it PC isn't as safe as mobile

Just for features, here are my basic needs.

1. QR codes - Both read and create. Send and receive, save private keys to import and address as contact.
2. Bio-metric lock - Quick with nearly no risks when you have your phone with yourself mostly.
3. Availability of choosing fees - Not a mobile related thing but as most of the mobile wallets are not allowing this.

A lot of people mentioned Biometrics, on the flip-side don't you think this could lead to potential flaws in wallets? I mean anyone could cut off your finger and gain access to your funds LOL... On a lighter note, anyone could assess your fund while you are sleeping by simply tapping it using your index finger.

For me, this is Trust Wallet.

1. Multicurrency
2. Staking
3. Authorization on sites through their wallet (for exchange, etc.)
4. Support NFT

If you’re looking for a multi coin wallet you may like to check out Trust Crypto Wallet, it’s like the best I have ever seen and I like its interface that is simple without much clustering like other wallets would do, just like Coinomi and the other ones; Trust Crypto Wallet is better than them. I don’t make use of it on a steady because before I got to know about it I’m already making use of BitPay and Blockchain on my mobile device and they are all good.

Of course I have seen people that claim they are good, there will always be a complaint in everything. Just use whatever you think is good for you and nothing more. I like Blockchain for the fact that when I’m making transaction I can select what fees I want to pay, whether priority, regular or custom fee.

now some exchanges also already have a mobile application. IMO is quite good and has many uses. but to be honest I am more comfortable using a computer than mobile in buying and selling or anything.
You are right the computer is more comfortable...
but you don't carry your computer anywhere when you are in a supermarket, cafe or transport terminal, a smartphone is the best device for making payments. this efficiency makes the crypto mobile wallet more useful. Grin

Empowering crypto w/ sustainable energy
I like the easy to use interface and the option to scan a QR code directly with the camera. This helps to interact with the wallet a lot. On top of that you have your coins always in your pocket with you

My favorite hardware wallet, and by far the most popular, is the Trezor wallet. I could call it my best cryptocurrency wallet. It is a bulletproof Bitcoin wallet and is hyper-secure it supports Windows, Linux, Max and has one of the best Android wallet apps available for cold storage crypto investment.

That your wallet is everywhere you are. People shouldn´t hold all their coins on a mobile wallet, but you never know what will happen to your mobile phone. So transfer funds to your mobile phone that you are going to spend on goods for example and rest keep on your hardware wallet.  Cool

My top three feature to look out when using a mobile wallet is: It has to be secured, has a user-friendly interface and app must be lightweight, not bloat. That's it.

of course, the efficiency IMO...
crypto mobile wallet is very simple, when you need funds or withdrawals, there is no need to bother opening a laptop or computer, the security offered is pretty good.

Selling your tokens and coins through exchanges inside your mobile wallet is the best feature presently, coinomi wallet and trust wallet has only insta swap services like shapeshift and Changelly but will ridiculously high charges
Yes, but that feature can also sometimes be very useful if the tokens or coins we have are not in another exchange, but if the tokens or coins we have are in another exchange at a price ratio that is almost the same, then it's better to sell them in exchange other than selling in the wallet feature directly.

thats impossible . crypto wallets that have a built in exchange can only support small number of coins  not unlike to regular exchange that can support many kinds of coins  but like you said if the coin is available on both crypto wallet with a built in exchange and on a regular exchange at same price rate , its better that you can trade inside your wallet because this saves time and effort most especially if you dont have an account on an exchange   . add in the the transfer fees and the trading fees to when you transfer your coins and when you use a regular exchange  .

True! However, I think it'll take a while for developing those features in the mobile crypto wallet. One of the favorite things, when I use the mobile crypto wallet, is its convenience. I can access my wallet wherever I want. I think, personally, the mobile crypto wallet will be the future of the cryptocurrency wallet.
Yes, convenience will be the most thing that we needed to choose the wallet that we want. If we can not feel convenient, we will not select that wallet, and we will search for the other wallet. We see that in any country, many companies offer a digital wallet to store the money, and people can use that wallet to buy or pay something that they want.

Yes the conversion feature becomes an interesting feature in a mobile Crypto wallet. But I think there is rarely a mobile wallet that provides this feature. I personally still rarely use other mobile wallet besides Imtoken. Can you give me an example wallet that provides conversion features?
So far, I use Jaxx, and I don't have any problem, but I heard that some people complain or don't like with that wallet. Besides of Jaxx, I use Atomic wallet to store my coins. But I save the other coin in my ledger Grin

I always look for the mobile wallet which do have a strong security. The reputation of such wallet rely on how secured their system is. Also, been looking for the one that can easily manage, I do not want some complicated features as well. Though I am also in favor of lower fees since some mobile wallets have fixed high rates but I still understand about that.

I had a strange experience earlier this year when I wanted to import my Coinnomi wallet to Trust wallet using the passphrase. It is a 16 Digit old passphrase I open back in 2018. Whenever I import my wallet to Trust wallet or any other wallet, it gives me a new ETH address different from the one in the original Coinomi wallet from which I had created the wallet. I guess it was compatibility issues, I had to create a new wallet and transfer all my funds.

Yes that's true, multi-currency mobile wallets are becoming the main deal now, and in my own opinion, the best things to look out for or the questions to be asked is, does the wallet support a good number of cryptocurrencies taking into account there are many cryptocurrencies in the crypto space today?. Another is, the cryptocurrencies that one can stake, can it be done (that is the staking) within that multi-currency mobile wallet?. While the last is, is there a fingerprint scanner to make login easy?
