One mistake you should avoid is going into crypto without acquiring adequate knowledge. In the crypto space you must take learning as a priority before you can think of enjoying the benefits or earning from it. A lot of newbies don't make proper research before making any investment on crypto, they assume that it's some sort of ponzi scheme where they can just make money overnight. Another thing you shouldn't do is taking irresponsible risks, learning and applying risk management can help you mitigate losses. The last thing you should avoid is impatience.

Use secure wallets, and consider moving your funds to cold storage (offline wallets) for long-term holding. Enable two-factor authentication on your accounts for added security.
Using a cold wallet and adding 2FA to your account is a means to increase security, but it's not entirely the safe heaven. How you handle your cold wallet backup will determine the safety of the funds you have in there because if a third person has access to it, nothing can stop them from getting hold of your coin.

The same thing is applicable to 2FA: either to use it to protect a wallet that allows it or to use it to protect your forum account. The application you use should be secured in order for it to serve its purpose.

eagerness to become popular on the forum thereby writing lots of post and replies which maybe referred to as spamming.
Most of them joined the forum just because they heard it that money can be made on the forum here, so they joined with the mindset to rank up, and join campaign. That’s why most of them do post a lot just to receive merit so that their rank can increase, but they don’t know that things don’t really work like that here, it’s not about how many posts you make here, people value quality posts. If you don’t have something useful to say, then it’s just better you don’t even post.

The funniest part is that some of them don’t even write the post themselves, it’s always created by AI for them, which is against the rules, so most people that are desperate to make money here do end up not staying long on the forum here.

One more thing, trying to teach when you need to learn as for those who are new to cryptocurrency.
That’s just what lots of newbies do now, that’s why sometimes you will see them create threads teaching people things, but there are always errors in the post. They are supposed to keep calm and keep on learning, but they are always in a rush to post, so they will want to teach.

Hi Ummsha! Great to have you here. Actually, it is an amazingly great community for learning, and you are supposed to be here if you want to dive deeper into cryptocurrency. You don't have to worry about being new; we all start somewhere. Ask any questions, and don't hesitate. We're here to help you get comfortable in this space.

Use secure wallets, and consider moving your funds to cold storage (offline wallets) for long-term holding. Enable two-factor authentication on your accounts for added security.
It will be a mistake if you won't use secured wallets and increase your security or else the chance of losing your cryptocurrency funds will become higher especially scammers and hackers have find innovative ways to steal cryptocurrency whoever fall to their scheme. The saying "Not Your Keys Not Your Coins" isn't wrong because if you are not the one who has access to the wallet then they can freeze your balance or take your funds by saying that your account is banned for example because of violating their rules and will seize the funds in your account.

First, you are welcome to the great forum ( Bitcointalk)  and trust me every information you seek for is here all you need do is check all the board I mean there are a lot of board and each is unique in there own way and the name of the various board explain or give a brief summary of what is been discuss. In Bitcoin we have investment and trading I may not know which one you would wish or want to learn but trust me trading is so complex I don't mean to scare you but that's the truth, investing is pretty cool and it's different from trading and I suggest you go for investment unless you can afford to take the risk in trading.

God is great
And never get into crypto investing if someone randomly contacts you via whatsapp (so-called fake number) and slowly talks you into some kind of investment plan. Chances of losing your money are 100%.
Awareness of scam is one of the things newbies should have knowledge on to overcome scam. Most newbies are desperate to see their self on the top when it comes to cryptocurrency,  and this is the trip scammmers use to penetrate just to have advantage over them. Beginner should have the understand no stranger can fund them on to trade or invest and no stranger will give a free give away, every free offer is just a trap.

Having the understanding of do your own research will surely help newbies not to fall into scam from strangers and not to also fall into scam project. Newbies should try their best to get first hand information about anything they want to engage with in cryptocurrency, having character of trying to know things takes away ignorant and it is only when people are ignorant they fall for scam.

Firstly, I will like to welcome you to the forum world. As a newbie too, I'm impressed by this thread because it will also help us learn as our heroes and legendary are willing to educate us more.

One of the things the forum forbids is what they call plagiarism, like you taking a work that basically belongs to someone else without giving a reference to the person or maybe dropping the link to show it wasn't yours.

Another one is using Al to generate a post in the forum. The penalty is actually not likely, so it is good you avoid it. I will also love for you to go through this thread It will help you too.

You should read this topic.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/newbies-read-before-posting-1689727

No plagiarism which is copying someone's work and claiming as if it was yours. Instead you should put the link of where you got the content from. It can lead to ban of your account

Don't use AI to generate your post because we are all humans here and not bot. It can lead to account suspension.

Don't keep your coins in an exchange and only use a self custody wallet that is open source to store your bitcoin. Take your time to navigate round the forum to find the boards that you have interest on.

Thank you for your contribution,I will try my best to avoid such things.

"Kudos" to you for providing me such links,I appreciate you.

A lot of links that contain this forum's rules and regulations have been shared with you here. I will advise you to read them to know the right things to do in this forum so that you will not run into problems. When it comes to holding bitcoin, you need a bitcoin wallet, such as an Electrum wallet, which gives only you access to your bitcoin. If anyone has access to your bitcoin wallet seed phrase or private key, you will lose your bitcoin to that person. So you need to keep your bitcoin wallet seed phrase or private key in a place that is free from natural disasters and known to only you so that nobody will have access to your bitcoin wallet seed phrase or private key.

3. Don't use Windows
4. Don't use PayPal

If you are already giving advice about the operating system, you should have given an alternative - a beginner will certainly not just understand that you are advising him about Linux or something else. However, in the context of cryptocurrencies, why would Windows OS be such a problem? I've been using the same one for a decade in combination with cryptocurrencies and no one has hacked me or anything like that...

As for PP, maybe you meant buying cryptocurrencies through that service, so although I don't know if that service works globally, I know that it is possible to send cryptocurrencies to a non-custodial wallet. So I don't see a difference in whether someone bought crypto through CEX or PP, maybe there are just differences in fees.

Windows has many backdoors, spyware, susceptible to various hacks. I would use Ubuntu or at least Mac. Or keep my wallet off my Windows computer if it's a must.

With PayPal, they do not protect users against fraud for what they call "intangible items". That means if you sell BTC for PayPal, the buyer do a chargeback and keep your BTC.

PayPal will not care even if you can prove you got scammed.

Not just WhatsApp alone, Telegram and every other social media is included. Sometimes these scammers go as far as sending you unsolicited emails, telling you that you have won certain amount of bitcoin. These are ways of manipulating newbies, and unsuspecting newbies do fall for these things. So every newbies has to be aware of this too. And in this season of airdrops it is also important for newbies to know that they are supposed to have an airdrop wallet that's totally different from the wallet that they are storing their bitcoin. We should know that scam comes from different angles and one has to be prepared so you don't fall cheaply to these scammers.

I think the first mistake a newbie makes on a Bitcoin Talk forum is that they are in too much of a rush to rank up.  I basically mean they post more and more in a hurry to rank up and many times it appears that they are posting against the forum rules to get more merit and rank up next. And as a result, they get negative feedback from DT members and many times they get banned for posting.
In order to avoid these issues, what you need to do is to firstly follow the rules of the forum and by following the correct rules you will come forward as a genuine user by contributing to the forum.  It should be about learning and then sharing and then earning.

For starters What I will advice you to focus your eagerness on now is on investing on your knowledge about bitcoin as a technology and other cryptocurrencies don't be in a rush to go for investing and trading you may be discouraged by the loses you are bound to commit into. A mistake a some newbies make is that they want to remove the L in learning immediately they get to the forum but they fail to understand that you must build yourself through rigorous learning before earning.

Learning they say never ends, from day one to the last day you just have to keep learning, that's the only way you may be able to avoid certain mistakes and Also be able to rank up when your contributions are becoming very valuable to the forum, even some persons who have ranked up to the legendary level, they still learn at some point, you have something to learn from them and so do they have something to learn from you, you can be sure that with time you will get to know much better about Bitcoin and it's dynamics so you see opportunities around it and probably make as much as you can off it.
Learning never ends and that's the same with the crypto space because I believe even the so called veterans are still learning everyday but I must say one of the best ways to actually learn is actually learning from the mistakes of others so that you won't actually make them yourself but it's not easy though because sometimes your curiosity plays on and before you know you have also made  those mistakes too.

Welcome to the forum, Ummsha.

The very first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word "newbie" is scams and scammers. The reason behind it is simple, I have seen countless newbies getting scammed in this industry because they lack basic knowledge and understanding about things around this industry. So I will give you some suggestions, even though they are very basic, but you might need them in your journey.

First suggestion; always keep in mind that what sounds too good to be true is not true. So whenever you see an offer or an opportunity for investment where you see you are offered unrealistic returns, understand that it's not normal and it could be a trap. Run away from such things in this industry.

Second suggestion; don't get too friendly with strangers over the Internet. You might have a lot of people reaching out, trying to be extremely friendly and helpful on occasion, but you should understand that almost every one of them would have some motive, and the most obvious one is again scamming you, they will do their best to convince you to follow what they tell you only to get something out of you.

Instant cryptocurrency exchange with own reserves!
There are two sides,

Avoid doing these as a forum member;

1. Avoid copy-pasting (Plagiarism), which will lead you to get banned.
2. Do not abuse forum features like sending merits to your alternative account.
3. Do not cheat (do not participate in the contest with an alternative account).
4. Do not violate forum rules.
5. Do not rush

As a crypto newbie, avoid doing these things.

1. Do not use Centralized exchanges like Binance as a wallet. (Use Electrum, unstoppable)
2. Do not share the seed phrases of your crypto wallet.
3. Do not invest in something that looks too good to be true.
4. Do not connect your wallet to random websites,
5. Do not trust anyone with your money.

Welcome to the world of cryptocurrency. Let me put it this way, if you want to start an investment don't be pressurized by friends, colleagues, or anyone who claims to be a financial adviser in investment. Learn about it and be well convinced that you are ready and willing to start your investment. This is a mistake that most newbies make when it comes to investment, so it is good that at an early stage you seek for others who have gone through that part to share their experience. I am a victim of starting an investment that was not successful. So i have to learn the hard way and now lucky for me i have been able to grow my portfolio.

In conclusion, do things at your own pace. Don't compete with anyone, don't feel others are way higher than you. With time you will get where you wish to be.

Welcome and nice to have you around and be rest assured that you will find everything that you are looking for here as long as knowledge is concerned a d since you are interested in Bitcoin investment, you should read a few threads around the economy or the speculations board there you can fine I good number of threads that you help you to build a good knowledge and skills that will support your Bitcoin investment progress.

1. Don't keep your coins on exchanges
2. Backup your wallets and seeds
3. Don't use Windows
4. Don't use PayPal
5. Read feedback, don't trust anyone
6. Don't open email attachments or downloads
7. Don't fall for get rich quick or High Yield investments/Ponzi Schemes
Finally! Someone advised people not to use Windows, there are many people telling beginners to download a crypto wallet on their Windows PC, I will never tell a newbie to do such because they are not living under my roof, it is easier to break things using a windows PC, how many warnings can newbies keep up with? Don't click on suspicious links? Can they even tell the difference? I don't think so.

The best advice is beginners need open source wallet on their phones as hot wallet, they should learn how to transact using mobile wallets because they are less safer than running wallets on a windows PC, yet the safest crypto wallet for a newbie is open source hardware wallet.

Every beginner must not be lazy to do some diggings on everything Crypto before taking any steps, the truth is mistakes are very common in the crypto space, and dangers are waiting in every corner you can turn to, if you don't seek for answers first you will fall into the wrong hands.

1: Make sure you obey all the rules in this community, once you make up your mind to obey all the rules in this community, I think you will be able to grow to achieve your purpose in this community.
2: No matter what ,try to avoid anything that will make you not to learn bitcoin and crypto because once you have the knowledge and skills of decentralized currency, it will be easy for you to contribute positive things in this community, and people in this community will use your quality post to encourage you with merits which you cannot buy from this community or anywhere but you can earn it through your quality post.

Well from my little experience I think the biggest mistake you can make is actually being in a rush to actually invest on a coin just because of the actual hype of that coin and this is what many newbie have continued to make even with so much warning out. I think there is should be proper evaluation of whatever coin you would think of buying because there are lots of shitcoin out there in the market that is ready to swallow your money.

There are many newbies turn legendary that went from grass to grace and by that I mean account that rank up from newbies after understanding everything about the forum, got all the merit needed only for the account to be ban and you know what happened, they plagiarized when they were newbie without knowing the repercussion only to be investigated about something that happen years back. So don't start on that foot track.

If you want to enjoy this forum, I will advice you to join your local board. You will understand them and perhaps communicate better in the Forum and outside the forum and I'm sure they are going to share you things that are not discussed frequently here and please make sure you are just you, there is no need to suck anyone toe to get anything, the forum is grown by merit, you can get it from anywhere within the forum.

Hmm, that's pretty interesting!
First of all I am warmly welcome to you for being a new here. After that I will elaborate on your question.

The biggest mistake you should avoid as a newbie regarding through the forum is that "don't go against the rules and regulations". It so simple If you follow the rules, no problem can arise for you, but if you cross the rules even a little, there is no place for you here. Especially regarding posting. I have often seen newbies use AI. And they understand that no one knows here on the forum, despite this being not the case, here every step of yours is looked at by a senior, if you are taking the wrong step, then you can be kicked out from here. So be careful

My only advice is, never jump into something risky that you are not well-prepared. You will only get frustrated in the end and eventually lost all your money and time for just a wrong decision making.
Now many beginners do that so they will just feel stressed, like trading in Futures which looks easy but is actually a very risky trade.
Losing all their money in an instant and stressing beginners out.

Careful preparation and some basic knowledge need to be learned, don't just apply the feeling system, it won't help anything.
It took me a long time myself to learn what crypto is and how it works.

Know that every newbie has limitless opportunities. But for you to achieve that, one must start with thorough studies and extensive research about investing, trading, or even mining if you wish to, and lastly how to stay significant in the forum and become a reputable member. My only advice is, never jump into something risky that you are not well-prepared. One of the biggest mistake of a newbie is when you're too gullible believing that someone you think is higher than you and everything they say is right.
So, in investing, you still have a say about that and you need to scrutinize those tips that you'll hear from different people and you don't have to believe them immediately.
You have your own thoughts and you can identify those tips to you if they're good or not. But don't you buy them as soon as you have just heard or read it from anybody.

"What are the biggest mistakes I should avoid as a newbie"?

There are no main mistakes, but there are many (typical) mistakes that beginners make. Each of these mistakes can harm you and therefore, you should avoid all of them (any of them). To do this, you need to have information, that is, learn and master new knowledge that will allow you to avoid mistakes. There is enough useful information here on the forum. Educate yourself.

Hello also op welcome to this forum,,, and of course you are in the right place op yes now of course you can create topics and ask good questions and you can of course learn about crypto and investment here but what is clear is that you have to obey the rules that applies in this forum.

investing and being involved in the world of Crypto is not an easy thing because of course everything contains risks but by joining this forum of course it is the right decision because of course you can learn in this forum and you can see like in the trading discussion thread that you can there. discussing trading and investment, of course you can see threads which contain discussions about investment, but of course what is most widely discussed in this forum is long-term investment in BTC.

but honestly, I am very happy with those of you who have joined this forum and many of our friends here have answered your questions satisfactorily and of course this will definitely be very helpful for you and everyone.

keep learning op because by continuing to learn of course one day you will find success and of course don't give up and if you experience failure try to learn from experience and correct the mistakes you have made.

In my opinion, there are certainly many mistakes that a beginner should avoid, but according to my experience, one of them is that you should not invest in crypto or trade in crypto if you are using money that you are not ready to lose. because investing and trading in crypto carries big risks and the prices are always fluctuating.

As you plan to invest, ensure you understand and prepare for volatility very well because this is another area some investors have issues with. The implication of not understanding bitcoin price volatility is that you will end up being so emotional during every price drop which may prompt you to sell at loss out of fear of losing out on everything.

In bitcoin investment, patience is indeed a virtue. It is very necessary that you understand your investment so you can differentiate between being patient for the right reasons and when you are wasting your time.

Welcome to the forum newbie, here you will learn alot from experienced investors and traders (I.e if you know why you are here). Go through the pinned posts, avoid plagiarism and most importantly avoid negative tags.

You should read this topic to prevent mistakes while on this forum.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7955645

Don't rush into investing without equipping yourself with thorough knowledge about Bitcoin and other crypto assets. Mistakes can be prevented, carelessness will cause great losses. Don't force yourself to do something without knowledge because the consequences will be detrimental to yourself.

Always avoid storing assets in custodial wallets because the risk is very high, recently the Crypto world has been shocked because one of the largest Exchanges in Indonesian was hacked which caused losses of up to $22 million. You need to be careful in Crypto investment, always store assets in non-custodial wallets because you have full control over their funds.

One of the biggest mistake you should avoid as a newbie is quest for get rich quick. This is usually where the problem of most newbies start from because when the desire to be rich overnight overwhelms you, all you will think about are shortcuts to make it come to reality. Some of the possible things you will do include but not limited to investing in shitcoins, going into trading with poor knowledge and information and many others that end up hurting and frustrating you. As a newbie, spend more time learning about bitcoin and if you want to start investing, focus more in bitcoin and try to avoid trading for now.

There is no end to learning and no age to learn. The more you try to know, the more you learn. Maybe you said here that you are an expert, I don't know if you are already in bitcoin forum. However, if you want to invest and trade in crypto, you need to be experienced enough. You cannot trade and invest with little experience. One of the mistakes you need to avoid especially to stay and grow in Bitcoin forums is don't scamming. If you can avoid the deception in you, you can live well and grow here. I would have said, having to create this thread but, on the note that you only created this thread a couple of days after your registration, it’s fair to assume you’ve gone through a couple of contents before deciding on putting out this one.

I’ll still reiterate that, you shouldn’t make this mistake of thinking that, creating more and more threads adds value to you or makes you valuable on the forum, nope.
The greatest hood you can do is to yourself and that would come in what you’re able to learn on here before what you can give out. I’m essence, read more and don’t make thread creation your first step towards any confusion.

Also, open yourself to be teachable and be ready to accept other people’s views, even when it doesn’t align with yours.

There are mistakes you can make in this forum, and mistakes you can make outside the forum, that is while trying to invest in bitcoins.
In the forum, the mistakes I have seen people make the most is plagiarism, and then trying to be someone they are not. That has gotten most newbies and even old members banned.

Outside the forum while you have started investing in bitcoins, you have to be careful not to make the mistake of making yourself available to scammers and cybercriminals through carelessness.

Researching is your friend. When someone tells you to invest in this and that coin, you don't believe them quickly but instead, you'll have to verify what they say or at least make your research and that's why we keep on telling people to DYOR. Because you won't be fooled by doing that and you don't have control over the markets and that's another reason for you to do it. Investing and trading isn't easy, you can do both but most of the people in the community chooses one and that's to be an investor because it's way easier and you don't have much pressure to take but that doesn't spare you from having one.

One of the mistakes is not following the forum rules that may result in getting banned. Here's some advice for newbies, bitcoin is not what many people think that it is s get rich quick scheme type when it is not at all. There's this other mistakes that newbies might have done which is not keeping their seed phrase safe and sound, storing their funds in an exchange instead of storing their crypto in a non-custodial wallet. Newbies should be aware of the saying "NOT YOUR KEYS NOT YOUR COINS".

Welcome mate, I stumble across numerous topics similar as this whereas learning is not difficult if only you’re willing to know more. Asking questions is important but the one fact I don’t joke with is safety, I don’t know the kind of knowledge your seeking for probably op might be referring to forum knowledge or bitcoin in general, situations when a newbie just buy bitcoin it’s like the best move anyone has done while learning, in this situation buying or learning first is a choice but practice makes perfect. Firstly where and how to store you coin is important like avoid storing your coin in an exchange basically you buy and sell only using and exchange nothing else and as time goes you get to read more from higher rank members about the forum and bitcoin.

Do not enter the market when you are not ready yet. One should be financially, mentally, and emotionally ready before he will risk his time and money in the market, otherwise everything will end up a mess.

Also, do your own research so you won't rely to others for your decision making in the forum. Even following pros and legendaries in the forum won't guarantee your success in the forum and in the market, so always do your own extensive research.

1. To chase after Merit for account growth, while forgetting to provide value for forum discussion.

3. To think Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, because Bitcoin is literally not a get rich quick scheme, but rather an asset of value..

If you’re looking to start your journey on bitcoin it’s better you seek more knowledge about the cryptocurrency market and how it works generally. A lot of links have been provided for you to go through to serve as guidance through your process of learning. Firstly, make you you prioritize privacy and security because those are the two things that when left vulnerable you can lose everything you have owned in crypto. Focus more on investing in bitcoin rather than trading, learn the technology and take your first step of investment in bitcoin after learning the basics, because their guides are more important than owning the bitcoin itself.

Avoid trading as a newbie, if you want to trade, learn and become experienced with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency before you would think of, trading is for professionals. Start with investment into Bitcoin and other cryptos with utility case if you would like to dive into the world of altcoins. Lastly, don't trust anyone with your funds such as keeping on centralized exchange platforms, it is liable of getting seized, hacked, go bankruptcy and whatever story that may come up in the crypto space when your coins are gone.

Take your time to learn, you will surely become experienced at some point if you give it your time. Welcome to the largest Bitcoin family.

Doing well in the forum lies a lot on your purpose of joining the forum. If you're here to learn and grow your knowledge on Bitcoin and the blockchain technology that backs it up like you've said, you're in the right place and I'm certaim you won't be misled. Learning how to invest in Bitcoin doesn't take much technical process and just by knowing how Bitcoin volatility works  and getting details on how to invest such that your asset is protected from hackers and those with dark intentions as well as ensuring that you've secured your seed phrase, it's going to be a good foundation you will have to set first.

If you're interested in trading, then it will be best that in addition to whatever information you will be previledged to get from the forum that you attach yourself to someone close to you that's already in the system that can mentor you and walk you through the basics of trading do you don't risk too much as a beginner.

As regarding your stay in the forum, we're a family and as long as you're not breaking any rules that have been outlined and that a lot of people have already suggested that you go through them, you're certainly going to have a good time in the forum. Just avoid the use of AI and don't fake what's not the case. The rest of the guidelines have been pinned in most of the board that you can go through them. Don't be afraid to start, you will get to learn a lot of things as you progresses in the forum.

welcome to the forum.
are you a Bitcoin researcher? or are you just interested in Bitcoin? actually, you can share your knowledge here. but if you feel still not confident, you can read more. even if you are lucky what you are looking for may be here. if maybe not there after you search for it, you can create a thread like this to create an interesting discussion.

one thing I want to say, do not create a thread if you are not able to end it. meaning if you are satisfied with all the answers, then lock your thread. many beginners create threads and leave them. without even bothering to make a reply to their thread.

I did not read all sticky threads but some of them.

I actually meant all the sticky topics in the B&H board, although if something is "sticky" then it is important and worth reading regardless of which board it is in. If every beginner just came to the forum with the idea that maybe all the answers already exist and that they just need to read instead of asking questions, they would already show that they are ready for a new journey. There are of course exceptions, we should never generalize.

Things to avoid.

Ponzi schemes.

One of big mistakes make by newbies is don't secure their accounts well or they customize their account profile settings and show their email addresses to the public.

I recommend don't do it.

Forum account: security, privacy, and recovery. Latest months, Power Glove built 2FA that was deployed by theymos and newbies must secure their accounts with 2FA too.
Crypto security: Passwords and Authentication

Use strong password for their account and secure it more with 2FA.

When you have learned the basics, I advise you to start reading from the beginning of the forum (Bitcoin discussion) and go down - but do not burden yourself with reading as much as possible in as little time as possible, learning with understanding still requires time and patience.

Forum wise many have given you advice on steps and guidelines to prevent an action that would be considered "Biggest mistake"

I will dive in to little things outside the forum
As a newbie
If possible avoid trading but if not make sure you research extensively and fully equipped
But I would stress avoid trading.
Don't damble on shitcoins
Invest on the future rather than been swayed by the now.
Study, study and after studying, Do more studying
Ask questions (not something that could be easily found in the web like what's cryptocurrency)
There are many others but as you use the forum you get to learn from others post
Don't forget Bitcoin isn't just a Cryptocurrency.
If we akin to Biology is how Humans are all considered animals
But we know we more than that.

Success would be easy if you really follow the forum rules that were suggested by other members in this thread.

Bitcoin Bottom was at $15.4k
the double quotes in your title thread makes me think that you have used ChatGPT or any other AI to write it up. I would advise you to not use AI generated content to get more post counts.
In the end, what matters is the quality of your post than quantity. I have seen members here with 10k+ posts and only 1k merit. I personally am doing far better than them.

Also, as a newbie, you should avoid creating duplicate threads and start learning by reading replies from already existing threads. This will help you too.
Good Luck though.

1. Learn
2. Keep learning.
3. Never stop learning.

Even if you have money to invest into Bitcoin or anything right now, the more impatience you are as someone with low knowledge th easier you will make stupid mistakes.

Before you take any financial steps as a beginner it is best to ask question and do your own research first, this way you are simply trying to cut down the risk of making foolish mistakes.

Ask questions about everything, where to buy, how to keep, what to use to keep your coins, which ones are safer, you are a newbie after all, the highest numbers of scam victims in crypto space are beginners like you, and most of them have one thing in common, that's hasty.

Be calm and ask/seek before taking any steps.
