There are many reasons, but the main reasons are burning of coal and oil.

Haring the nature and not thinking about the future is the major cause.

There are many people who stood up for the change in climate as it is changing rapidly.

Recent climate changes, however, cannot be explained by natural causes alone. Research indicates that natural causes do not explain most observed warming, especially warming since the mid-20th century. Rather, it is extremely likely that human activities have been the dominant cause of that warming

Harming the nature and not valuing is the biggest problem that we are facing.

There are numerous regular factors too that influences the nature and the atmosphere is straightforwardly influenced by it.

Keep your surrounding clean and you will make sure that everything is also the same.

There are many things that culminate into problems and polluting being one of the biggest concerns.

The different nuclear tests that people are doing is the major cause.

not respecting the mother nature is the biggest mistake that people are making.

One major and that is POLLUTION. Man do things for improvement but actually not at all. Improvement for a while but destruction for the whole years of life.

Human activity on earth is the main cause of climate change, especially human activity that leads to environmental destruction such as felling of forests, the builders of the settlements in the water catchment, waste factory waste carelessly, and so forth.

The worst is to not know what is important and ignoring it will be a problem.

Most climate scientists agree the main cause of the current global warming trend is human expansion of the "greenhouse effect"1 — warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space.

Certain gases in the atmosphere block heat from escaping. Long-lived gases that remain semi-permanently in the atmosphere and do not respond physically or chemically to changes in temperature are described as "forcing" climate change. Gases, such as water vapor, which respond physically or chemically to changes in temperature are seen as "feedbacks."

Gases that contribute to the greenhouse effect include:

Water vapor. The most abundant greenhouse gas, but importantly, it acts as a feedback to the climate. Water vapor increases as the Earth's atmosphere warms, but so does the possibility of clouds and precipitation, making these some of the most important feedback mechanisms to the greenhouse effect.

Carbon dioxide (CO2). A minor but very important component of the atmosphere, carbon dioxide is released through natural processes such as respiration and volcano eruptions and through human activities such as deforestation, land use changes, and burning fossil fuels. Humans have increased atmospheric CO2 concentration by more than a third since the Industrial Revolution began. This is the most important long-lived "forcing" of climate change.

Methane. A hydrocarbon gas produced both through natural sources and human activities, including the decomposition of wastes in landfills, agriculture, and especially rice cultivation, as well as ruminant digestion and manure management associated with domestic livestock. On a molecule-for-molecule basis, methane is a far more active greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, but also one which is much less abundant in the atmosphere.

Nitrous oxide. A powerful greenhouse gas produced by soil cultivation practices, especially the use of commercial and organic fertilizers, fossil fuel combustion, nitric acid production, and biomass burning.

Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). Synthetic compounds entirely of industrial origin used in a number of applications, but now largely regulated in production and release to the atmosphere by international agreement for their ability to contribute to destruction of the ozone layer. They are also greenhouse gases.


I think there are so many things that causes global warming or climate change. But the for me the big factor that deals with this is people. People's are tha great things created by our God but humans are also the reason why we suffering global warming.

Ignorance is the main causes of climate change and they will be ignored later in their life by nature.

actualy, as i know, climate changes are common for our planet, ice age ang globbal warming has always been here. humanity with our air pollution jast make that process move a little bit faster

I think that the main cause of climate change are the activities that we do that always affects our environment. Those activities are under our control so we are the ones who are responsible about handling it. Climate change is a serious case that we might do something about. We must discipline ourselves if we really want to have a comfortable environment in the future.

Climate feedbacks amplify or reduce direct warming and cooling effects. They do not change the planet’s temperature directly. Feedbacks that amplify changes are called positive feedbacks. Feedbacks that counteract changes are called negative feedbacks. Feedbacks are associated with changes in surface reflectivity, clouds, water vapor, and the carbon cycle.

The greenhouse effect causes the atmosphere to retain heat, when sunlight reaches Earth’s surface, it can either be reflected back into space or absorbed by Earth. Once absorbed, the planet releases some of the energy back into the atmosphere as heat (also called infrared radiation). Greenhouse gases like water vapor (H O), carbon dioxide (CO ), and methane (CH ) absorb energy, slowing or preventing the loss of heat to space. In this way, GHGs act like a blanket, making Earth warmer than it would otherwise be. This process is commonly known as the “greenhouse effect.”
