The materials to make this knife cost about $55 ($50 for the blade, $5 for brass and etching supplies), so I doubt the price will fall much further.
Good guess, but that's also not including labor. I'm actually considering raising it back up. The price is actually too low right now. I will honor purchases made at the current price only until I raise it.

I believe the correct term that should be used here is "etched" and not "engraved" if I am not mistaken.
