Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
IMO the biggest scam and also the hardest to contest is the KYC fraud, closely followed and related to place of origin fraud. So the place of origin fraud is where for some reason you log in from a different IP. Many casinos don't allow you to use VPN, but imagine that you're on your phone and cross the border during holidays and you log in from nearby country. Sometimes that country is either on the banned list of that casino, or they will simply say you used VPN to connect, while you were simply logging in from another location. I've seen situations where people were banned and they claimed they went to parents for holidays and played from their house and a week later came back home and logged from their normal IP.
KYC fraud is where the casino demands KYC before a withdrawal and intentionally delays it to stop you from withdrawing for as long as they can.

making a test withdrawal would be recommendable before depositing big.

Intelligent scam casinos will allow you to withdraw small amounts but when you deposit big (because you gain trust by withdrawing small amounts), they will not allow you to withdraw and make excuses not to withdraw. So do not remain in this that since they allow small deposits. they will let you withdraw any amount.

The only way to avoid this situation is to play only at the already established trusted casinos. There you do not have to take the tension of your deposits and withdrawal because those trusted ones will never held your amount. As their business is very expanded, they do not need anyone's few hundred or thousands of dollars, they are already getting enough profit by running a legit casino.

Anything, but usually the casino didn't give a clear excuses, they will say the account is under investigation either by casino or third party gambling provider.

When we receive that kind of reply, we know what’s coming next, LOL. They don’t directly inform us of the real situation because they have a plan to make it look legitimate, but in reality, they are just abusing their power as operators. And they know we can’t do anything about it because before they take action, they make sure they can lean on their rules to help them win any argument. If these scammers were kind enough, they might forfeit our winnings and return our deposits, but some are even worse—they’ll take everything.

I know it sounds strange, but not always ToS has all the necessary information. Some years ago I have won in competition and received several freebets (some twitter competition). Some of them I have lost, some one, but when I have decided to withdraw, my withdrawal was pending for days. The reason for pending was wagering requirement, which was not stated in ToS and competition rules. I have found it only from a chat with support. The story ended with me loosing funds, because I have failed at wagering x5 my freebets (I had to wager x5 all 3 freebets of 1mbtc).
These rules and requirement of new competitions can't be found in TOS including in bonus terms. Either it's explained on the Twitter or the casino will state it on the casino. It's really strange that the casino didn't state it while you claim the free bets.

Are there any sneaky tricks casino's use to not pay you out when if your not scamming?
What options do you have when they won't?
Thanks in advance.
I don't really buy any of these stories where people accuse trusted casinos for not paying for a bogus reason. It's always some ToS violation because no one seems to read the ToS, or "fixed game2 if they lost money. Fact is that there are ton of legit reasons people can lose their accounts for, there's just no reason to cancel accounts when they feel like it. It would be just bad business as trust and good customer service is something worth more than anything to these casinos.

And if you choose a shady casino, then there's really no matter what the reason is as it can be anything and they don't feel the need to explain themselves. And it's not like that would matter what they say, as there would be no point of arguing or proving your case to them.

If there has been an accusation for older casino, those usually get solved, but it's not like those people who threw accusations would have motivation to come back online and confirm that everything has been fixed. So there always will be few of them around.

Yes, verify the problem with the service if it does not provide an explanation directly, if they still do not provide an explanation then make a bad review of the casino that does not pay.

This doesn’t really answers OP’s question as he is not asking about how to identify a fraudulent casino but he is interested to know the excuses they give to justify their scams.

Besides, scammers already know about this tactic. So, they will let you withdraw small amounts to gain your trust. Troubles usually arise when large amounts of money are involved.
Indeed, the amount of money is decisive in problems like this, the bigger the money you want to withdraw usually the more complicated it is, and fraudulent casinos will deliberately make it difficult for you to withdraw money.
Small money will only be bait.

Lower the chances of letting this happen to you mate, and that's by

1. Using only highly reputable online casinos, stay away from casinos that are not available through this forum.
2. Go through the online casinos ToS (Terms of Services) before doing anything else.
3. If possible to pass KYC verifications before you start using the casino then do it, though some won't make it available until you win big.

I would stay away from using VPN services, things will get more complicated when you are asked to drop your information like national ID card and your location isn't the same as your information says, you will just make things a lot harder for yourself.

Never have experienced that kind of delay from these casinos. But I wouldn't say that they intend to scam me if ever I'll have some delay because I only gamble in known casinos and I don't test out my luck with the newly launched casinos or those that are starting out their business.

What options do you have when they won't?
Thanks in advance.
What option you mean? if ever they won't pay me out? If it's an amount that I can afford to lose then I'll just let it go because I don't want to spend my time in countless arguments against their support if I've already did my best in disputing it. But if it's a large sum, I won't stop them until I get it when I know that I am in the right and never had broke any rules.

It’s a dumb idea, Even scammer casino allows player to withdraw small amount. They just use the scam card when players manage to win jackpot which is very rare to happened that’s why scammer casino can still get new customers since they do payout.

I think the simple answer to this problem is just play on reputable casino like Duelbits. A legit winnings will always processed quickly. Only those user that involves cheating and abuse suffer an investigation and possible confiscation of their winnings.
You have spoken well, and based on my own personal experiences, I very much agree with you, a friend of mine had once come across this new casino that was good looking, had very good varieties of games and comes with a very attractive sign-up bonus, he joined the casino, benefited from the bonus, and started playing on the casino by first depositing small amounts of money, they allows him to withdraw on countless occasions, he deposited and withdrawed several times without any issues, and because of this, he built a good trust on the casino and even proceeded to inviting all his gambling friends to the casino including myself.

After about 4 months of playing on the casino without any issues, he one day decided to make a deposit of $2500 to the casino, but as soon as the transaction was confirmed on his casino account, he was blocked access to his account, when he tried to chat customer support, he was immediately blocked too, he went to the casino's telegram group and immediately he posted his complaint, it was deleted and himself kicked out and blocked from joining the group again, this was when it dawned on him that he's been scammed, thank goodness that at this time, I havent even signed up on the said casino let alone playing there.
It turned out the scammers first made him trust the casino, and patiently waited for him to make a big deposit before they carry out their true intentions.

So, the safest way to be safe with casino is to only choose those that have proven their trustworthiness in a good test of time.

Mostly i was scammed by casino in two ways. Lots of KYC requirements with long expectation and "we have suspicions of a fixed match". It is enough for any casino. With fixed matches it is funny enough. One casino pay, the other one freeze money for 24 hours, the another one says it was fixed match and return the bet. Several gamblers said that they were banned for such bets. And casino mustn`t prove anything due to ToS.

You must be playing at untrusted casinos which are not reputed because if the casino is reputed they will never will hold your funds and will always release them and let you withdraw if you win the bet or any gambling game.

For the casino's who are not conserved about the reputations only they will do this tactics of not approving the KYC only to stop people from withdrawing or delay the withdrawal and all these stuff which will annoy the gamblers and they will not come back to such casino sites if they experience these problems.
Nope. It were both cryptocurrency and fiat casinos. The main part of them are well-known, several of them has ANN threads here. Even after KYC they returned me my money and made bet limit about $1-$5. It is standard situation for online casino when some gambler wins too often. Nobody cares about their face when on the other side common unknown gambler.

Casinos will always point to violations of their terms of service, and the worst is when they change their terms of service without informing their players, like when they first created their terms of service and then changed their terms after a few months without notifying them.

This is one instance where they intentionally try to scam their players. This is a sneaky trick that players should be aware of so they will not caught violating their terms.

If you think you are playing clean and the casino does not want to pay out, creating a complaint on forums like Bitcointalk can help your case. Casinoguru and similar review platforms are also good options. The goal is to make it known to the casino that you want them to address your concerns.

Well, I'm crypto, "not your Keys, not your crypto" is a general rule that I believe applies to other areas of our financial activities as well, like when your money is already there on your account on a centralized casino, you as a gambler have lost custody to the money, you are at the mercy of the casino to pay you your money whenever and immediately you ask to be paid.

But just incase the casino comes up with an excuse as to why they cant pay your money, a reason must be stated which usually differs for different situations, I can't begin to mention some possible reasons here, but it's up to you as the gambler to evaluate the reason that the casino gave as to why they can't process your withdrawal request, tell yourself if they (the casino) are telling the truth or not, them telling a truth or lie will and should determine your next line of action, either to create a scam accusation against the casino on a forum where the casino have a large user base, or try to resolve the issue with them calmly and amicably.

The casinos will use "delay" tactics, when they operate a small operation to pay out large wins, because most of them does not have a good cashflow in the beginning.

They will put "restrictions" on large withdrawals and they will use the excuse that large withdrawals must be validated, before it can be paid out.  Roll Eyes  (Some casinos need time to dip into their long-term wallets in cold storage to pay out large wins and that takes time)

This provide them with enough time to collect more profits and to enable them to pay out the winnings. It is actually only the large casinos with a lot of cash reserves, that will allow immediate withdrawals.  Tongue

This seems to be the same as what my friend experienced, where he got a small win and could easily withdraw the win without any problems, and indeed he himself had met the requirements such as fulfilling the KYC submitted by the casino. But when he got a big win and withdrew it he found a problem with his win that the casino had not approved or paid, waiting for a while losing patience he finally decided to communicate with the casino staff and for no apparent reason the staff said "your account has been frozen" this is annoying, but the funny thing is my friend tried to talk by saying that the win should be shared with him and the result that happened was that his account could be reopened but only half of the winnings were withdrawn. Cheesy
With this case I was a little surprised why he froze my friend's account but when he said to divide his win in half the casino staff agreed, this was a little strange and annoying until my friend no longer visited the casino.

I agree, also because according to many ToS casinos KYC is not triggered up to a certain limit, so it is normal that they don't look at your account if you make a small withdrawal but they do check it when you want to withdraw big.

This can be used by scammers as well as legitimate casinos that have a lot of customers and only check large transactions.

The most common excuse for banning a user’s account and seizing his funds is multiaccounting. The reason why shady casinos use this excuse most of the times is the fact that there is nothing the user can do to refute it. It will be, basically, your word against theirs (ofc, unless you tak your case to a court or to a mediation service).
Anyways, I don’t think knowing what excuse they will use really matters. If they want to scam then they can come up with any cause they want. They might even just ignore you and don’t provide any reason at all.

There are scam casinos out there, but they rarely last long as their reputation is quickly ruined and they get "blacklisted" in many places they might want to advertise. The reality is that casinos don't need to rip people off, at a certain size they start to make so much money legitimately that they would be dumb to risk it by arguing over petty things. The reasons they will keep excess winnings usually revolve around promotional abuse, like people creating multiple accounts in order to keep taking a generous welcome bonus - they design themselves things to be one person person and not an easy money stream that people think they can steal from. Besides that, using vpns can leave you vulnerable to accusations that you are from a banned country that they might be legally excluded from serving - but they should always give you back any deposited amount you have not lost.
Once a certain site would be having that a proven issue that came from some accusation but on the moment that its proven out then reputation is done for, there's no way that they could go out of that not unless if they would really be resolving all of those issues and complaints that been raised up, because if we do tend to look at on which even into those known and reputable casino platforms does really have their issues too
but the good thing on here is that they do really be able to resolve out those issues without any problems and thats what important is, on which on the time or moment that you would really be facing up issues then they do immediately gets resolved and thats a good indication that you are on a good site. Come to think that building and running up a casino doesnt come cheap and it would really be just that a waste of money or capital if they would really be trying out to scam out their users on early basis. Its really just that hard to believe on.

This is why if you are having some plans on playing on sites then it would be just that sensible that you would really be having some research about their legitness and credibility. It would really be better that
you would really be that sensible on the things that you've been dealing on with. If you are really just that making yourself wary then getting scammed wont most likely to happen because you do really know
on what you are doing. This would really be just something that you would really be needing on this manner.

Yes of course, the use of multiple accounts and VPNs are the most common ones. Some might also allege you use a cheating system or approach. It may or may not be true judging by my experience in similar cases.

At this point, you are at their mercy and some people were able to get their money back after some back-and-forth messages on their communication channels. But some would have to call them out in forums and other social media platforms to achieve their aim, and to avoid losing trust/reputation, they oblige some.

However, others may hire a lawyer or mediator/arbitrator to mediate in the case.

But that case is not a fraud committed by the Casino because basically the wrong person is the gambler, they are too forced to gamble without reading the rules in the casino, it is a clear case if the casino does not pay them.

But this method may also be done by fraudulent casinos where no restrictions are violated by users but they block user accounts when making withdrawals and do not provide any explanation to consumers, it is definitely a fraudulent casino.

You probably can not tell if the player is lying or not after they must have come up with a cooked up story to act innocent and accuse the casino of committing fraud while they were the one that committed the bad act. The forum doesn't judge blindly and before they condemn any casino, it must have been proven beyond every reasonable doubt that the casino is bad.

One of the main tricks is to claim you are scamming them, even if you aren't. They can demand KYC from you, and then keep rejecting it always you send your personal documents, or they can claim you are using multiple accounts on the platform to take advantage from it. When a casino wants to play dirty with players, they will always find an excuse to difficult the whole process and never let the gambler withdraw his funds. That is why casinos which such histories must be avoided at all costs by gamblers.

And in case you face a situation like that, I fear you have to be patient and follow all their instructions, while creating and sharing the situation in a public thread on this forum, for an example, so other members will also pressure the casino to solve the situation as faster as possible. This strategy can work, because the casino will fear to lose their reputation, so they will feel forced to not create any further issues with the withdrawal requirement.

In short, if the casino is reputable - mostly it is because you violated one of their terms or you haven't completed their kyc yet. But if you already completed those, then, better ask the site why they are holding your winnings? A reputable one won't ruin their image by one complaint from their players.

It is very true that statement, when we play in a casino that is 100% reliable , a casino is not going to throw dirty water for an amount that we say is small or not so high, no matter how bad they are, they will not do it , now, where I have come across casinos that are a fraud and are a scam, the first indication is when they say that the withdrawals are manual, there when they say that I totally walk away and never come back, and I think that is the excuse of a casino when it is seen that it is going to scam.

Most times, when gambling site withhold player's money it's either the gambler have indeed committed an offense such as violation of the casino site or the gambling site itself is a fraud, although in most cases the gambler is guilty, because sometime when gamblers complain about blocked account with funds in it, they will not explain the part that they did wrong and try to just pant themselves as innocent.

Although we have 1xbit which is a known scam casino and they way of operation is by selectively block accounts of gamblers that won big amount.

If the casino is legit then there are no sneaky tricks, unless the casino is a scam then sneaky tricks will be used.

When the casino holds your winnings and suspects your activities, the casino will ask the slot provider whether your winnings are valid or not, and after that you will be required KYC to redeem your winnings, usually the casino will take a long time with the investigation.

I am sure that a reputable casino will not withhold your winnings for no reason, so read the TOS in the casino so as to avoid unwanted problems.

I have not experienced any problems like this from any casino that I have gambled. They're all genuine and quick, and that's why I have nothing to say if it's about my experience.

But with those that I have read about their accusations to the casinos, first of all, the users are mostly the problems with what they're throwing to the casino. It's either they have broken a rule like multi accounting or have done any other rule that's against the casino.

Some are genuine with the users that have accused the casinos and what the casinos are doing is they delay the withdrawal and does a lot of verification before releasing the outright winning of those users.

Me, particularly I haven't had any personal experience with any casino platform out there withholding my funds, but I have heard of my friends funds withheld story but basically because of KYC because during initially of registration, this particular casino site wasn't demanding/didn't demand any documents from him as of the time of his registration with the site, but later asked him to provide his identification documents when they saw he had won a huge amount of money.

You just re-echo what the 2 user been discussing and pointed out above. Your post just stating the obvious here.
Sometimes in argumentation it is necessary to have affirmation from many parties to strengthen an argument to ensure its credibility.
But there’s no argument on the conversation that quote. Both of them agreed and come up to the same point which you reply. No need to prolong it here as this is the common spam on gambling discussion. I’m just suggesting to avoid it since this is the common comment for Stake sig participants.

But this method may also be done by fraudulent casinos where no restrictions are violated by users but they block user accounts when making withdrawals and do not provide any explanation to consumers, it is definitely a fraudulent casino.

This statement is valid but it’s easy to spot of the casino is telling the truth or not since they will be hesitant to provide supporting evidence about their claim for restrictions. Casino like scammer 1xbit usually just ignore the discussion once they are ask for evidence.
It may be easy to know, but users will find it difficult to determine and get confirmation of cases, if there are not many cases piling up, we experience together 1xbit not a few people who experience the same thing even though there are people who have complained about the same problem first and there is evidence.

Sometimes we also see that a case is delayed or in his language “under review and takes time” so that many of the same things happen.

Not really, Reputable casino always deal the issue promptly especially on case like this that requires validation on their side. Do hang out regularly on scam accusation board to witness it personally.

It is true that if it is an official site, even the reasons given are very clear and even that often happens when doing KYC or in providing suspicious data can be the cause, but unlike sites that may not be too big, usually the reasons given are unreasonable and even make it difficult for users, and in the end end up blocking user funds and causing fraud or the like.
Official casinos will not look for user errors to freeze assets or other things without clear reasons that are detrimental to users, official casinos will consistently implement the rules of conditions and requirements as important indicators to provide the best service to users. However, bad reputation casinos as you have explained above, they have hidden rules to blame user activities and they will complicate KYC verification such as asking for passport data, manipulating games, and others, so we must be wise in choosing a top reputation casino that has been recommended in the list that has been posted on the thread on this board.

from my experience, it is using a VPN where in my country there are many gambling sites that are restricted, so one time when I wanted to withdraw my winnings my account was restricted because I used a VPN when submitting an application to CS and I read from casino opinions on this forum on average On average, they don't recommend not using a VPN

Are there any sneaky tricks casino's use to not pay you out when if your not scamming?
What options do you have when they won't?
Thanks in advance.

If you are playing with a reputable casino it seems you don't need to get worried that they will freeze your account but of course there's a possible reason behind on it, possible issues if that you will encounter of course if you haven't read their Terms and condition if you are an active gambler you want to make yourself safe too so its your rights to read those. Possible common issues of the accounts suspicious activity in different form, abusing the game, multiple account using same IP, and etc. If you think you didn't do anything wrong you don't need to worry. If you are playing a casino that has an existing ANN thread here you can easily reach out their representative with your concern but of course with an evidence.

geo location breaches since some players are to hard-headed even with the terms stating that their country is banned, they circumvent their location by using VPN and whine about the reputable casino not letting them withdraw.

If the casino is a scammer, there is no need for a reason, they just block the player and give false statements but often these scam casinos just don't bother.

That's true, some players are already aware why their account got restricted but they create an accusation thread and act like they don't know their fault. Once a casino discovers that a player have violated their TOs, they rustic the account without giving any warning or without asking the player to withdraw the money in their balance.

But that case is not a fraud committed by the Casino because basically the wrong person is the gambler, they are too forced to gamble without reading the rules in the casino, it is a clear case if the casino does not pay them.

You just re-echo what the 2 user been discussing and pointed out above. Your post just stating the obvious here.

I agree reputable casinos often block withdrawal due to possible breaches of terms aside from KYC requirements.  Most I read where reputable casino block withdrawal is multi-accounting. geo location breaches since some players are to hard-headed even with the terms stating that their country is banned, they circumvent their location by using VPN and whine about the reputable casino not letting them withdraw.

If the casino is a scammer, there is no need for a reason, they just block the player and give false statements but often these scam casinos just don't bother.

In short, if the casino is reputable - mostly it is because you violated one of their terms or you haven't completed their kyc yet. But if you already completed those, then, better ask the site why they are holding your winnings? A reputable one won't ruin their image by one complaint from their players.

It is different if the site is a known scammer, they will find so many reasons not to pay big winnings to their players. So if you believe you have no violations at all, it means, the site is scamming you and before they delete your record, better get all the snapshots that you think can help you when you file or publish your complaint. Lucky if the site has active thread here as people can help you out resolve your case.

Its stated on TOS that those players located on restricted regions are not allowed to gamble in their casino. So with those cases they have nothing to complain since at first place it was written and they choose to take a risk then gamble. If there's written rule that they can confiscate the funds of the user who violate their rules then they cannot do anything with it. That's the reason how important to read the TOS so that they could able to see what is allowed and what are those thing has been restricted by those casino so they can avoid to have a issue with them.

If the gambler is not on restricted region but still they used it as reason then this is clear indication  that the casino is scam and don't really have any plans to pay those people who win huge from their casino.

What options do you have when they won't?
Thanks in advance.
Some casinos use KYC as an excuse to not let you withdraw your winnings. For example, imagine that you made a deposit, won a huge amount of money and want to withdraw, then casinos ask you to submit KYC because they think your funds are suspicious but in reality, they gamble with you with the hope that you'll give up on your winning because of KYC requirement. Sometimes, even when you submit KYC, they still make the withdrawal procedure very hard for you and ask for additional proofs, video calls and etc...
All of these usually get resolved when you open a scam accusation thread on Bitcointalk but in that case, the casino must be active here and should be oriented about their trust here.

Use trustworthy casino. Read the casino terms of service. Get verified first before you deposit. Do not have more than one account.
FortuneJack is considered to be a trustworthy casino but one user was complaining about not casino not letting him to get verified first before making a deposit.

They have countless tricks to scam you, which is why it's important to choose a reputable casino if you want to avoid problems in the future. Even reputable casinos might face these issues occasionally, but at least it's not rampant, allowing you to minimize the risk.

Post a scam accusation; they scammed you, so you can also damage their reputation. By sharing your experience, you can help others learn and make them aware to stay away from a scam casino. This way, you seek justice for what they've done to you.

If it's not a scammy casino and perhaps it's a reputable casino, they don't have any reason not to pay you off your winning, the only reason they will have not to do so is if the customer brakes any rules and sometimes, customers brake rules without even knowing it And what usually causes that is their inability read terms and conditions of the casino. If after trying everything and yet you can't get access to your funds on the casino, you will have to abandon it.

The newly tricks nowadays is account connection despite having passed kyc and all necessary documents you would be blocked from having access to your account, if you went further they would pushed you to mail communication after having chatted with livesupport for several time and that would be the end. So while gambling it's advisable not to have multiple accounts created in one casino otherwise that could easily leads to the ban of your account if paradventure you have huge winning then they would come up with their ToS and limits you from taking your funds. You need to avoid all these if you must withdraw your winnings successfully from gambling/casino site these days.
If the casino block a gambler account for account connection, and because of that withheld the fund's in that account, it means the casino action against such gambler is justifiable because multiple accounting is against most casinos rules and for sure anyone that goes against such a rule will face the penalty for such actions.
I don't think any casino/gambling site would deliberately blocked someone account after winning without any violation of their rules, usually there are terms that binds gamblers but only few of us find it easier to read and understand them before going further to make account and make deposit into the casino. Though it's true that most casinos does that for no reason since they aren't having upto that amount in their possession they would look for a better story to cook on that user just restriction them from making withdrawal.

The one that I hate most is when a casino block accounts immediately the gambler win a big amount in games, because obviously that action is taken just to frustrate the gambler unnecessarily because only scam casinos does that just to withheld the fund's in they possession.

KYC is the number one problem here. Sometimes the casinos don't have solid proof of play in a banned jurisdiction and they confiscate winnings and deposits. They just make a claim with whimsical proof.  Some will only confiscate winnings. The large casinos, even with those that have huge followings here are no exception. Casinos players are normally safe from getting winnings taken away but sports players have to be careful. They know a sharp sports bettor will continue to beat them. The casino may steal deposits since they don't want their action.

Stall tactics are also used by both small and large casinos here. Everyone gets profiled and they realize that some players aren't going to stop playing while being slow paid.

First of all, why are you choosing such a shady casino? There are already many legitimate casinos available on the market, and that too with a good reputation. Always try to play in these casinos to save yourself from getting scammed.
Now regarding the tricks that casinos use, they will change the terms and conditions page of their casino if they find any big player is sucking all their bankroll. They might force you to undergo KYC, and upon finding your country of residence, they might edit their restricted nations list. If a casino is a scam casino, then in order to scam your money, they can go to any level. Hence, choose your casinos wisely.

What is the best site for gamblers similar level to bitcoin talk?

I can't say that there is a "best" in this category... sometimes this forum helps, and sometimes one of the review sites helps. The good thing about this forum is that some crypto casinos have active representatives here. Then it's easier to get in touch with them, but that's only true for some crypto casinos. The vast majority of crypto casinos have never come to the forum.

The best thing we can do is to write a complaint wherever we can, and after that, we can only hope for the best.

Most casino companies are scammers because it's only when you win a huge amount that you will see them bringing up too many rules,  terms and conditions you breached while gambling on their site which they cared less about when you had little or no winnings but as soon as it involved huge amount they now start coming up with different stories and it's unfortunate that to fight casino companies is very stressful because you will be required to show a lot of proofs as evidence to show that the casino didn't pay your winnings so the best way to stay out of manipulations from casino companies is to stake little amounts and also aim to win little amounts then you won't have many problems with casino companies.

There is no need to give excuse to gamblers when they win, on a casino because gambling is all about winning and losing, and once a gambler wins the gambling site will pay off in full, so there is no need to give gambler an excuse when the win, and any casino that does that is pourly a scam casino and it should be avoided.

The only gambling sites that does give gamblers some silly excuse is 1xbit who are already known scam casino and we always warn gamblers to stay off from them, but aside from that, there is no logical reason for a casino to hold players money that they won.

Before you accused any casinos of trying to withhold your money, be sure that the fault is not coming from you. Have you read the casino's terms and conditions?
Have you acquainted yourself with the casino rules and you're sure you haven’t broken any of those rules?
Most gamblers will ignore basic findings like this and come out to blame the casinos once they sense any delay in withdrawing their funds.

You are free to take legal actions against a casino that refuses to pay you what is duly yours as long as you are sure that you are not the problem. You can actually save yourself from the stress of battling with a casino over your winnings if you take your time to sort for trustworthy casinos and work with them alone.

People come to the casino behind the expected victory target because they feel safe and well served when making deposits and withdrawals. Casino aims not to cheat even though there is a casino that ultimately deceiving users who don't care he won the victory with legitimate or not.

Don't be surprised when many recommend a trusted casino before registering at the casino if what is meant is online casino.

It can be hard to do, but i recommend that one should read the terms of service of any casino that they use, if they say they can request kyc from their customers at anytime, take note that if you win big, they will request you complete kyc, so if you are someone who does not want to give out your data, you may want to stop using such a casino.

However, it is necessary to read reviews about any casino you intend to use, read how well they have handled issues of other customers in the past and check what most people say about them, this can save you from losing money to a casino.

there is no reason for a casino to hold your legitimate winnings. unless your account has a problem. also, pay attention to where you play. if you try a casino that you just found and its reputation is still unclear, maybe you are playing at a scam casino. you will only lose your funds without winning.

so before judging a casino as unfair by not paying your winnings or even suspending your account. first, try to check if you missed something that should be known and if you violated it.
if you still feel something unfair happened to you, then you can create a thread on the forum with accusations against the casino. of course, consider your strong evidence and ask the casino forum representative to provide an explanation to resolve the case.

It is not surprising considering that they have been in problems for months, which means that their almost ten-year reputation has completely collapsed and that so far all such and similar problems are not the exception but the rule. I hope that in the end you will still get what is yours, even if you had to wait a lot longer than usual.

As for excuses, I would say that in any online business you can have as many excuses as you want, especially if you are relatively anonymous and the fact is that 99% of clients will not sue you even if they are 100% sure that they are right. Being honest and pretending to be honest are two different things.

The accusations I have ever received are multi accounts and they require KYC to prove that I do not have more than one account, and some of the accusations I have read on this forum are also quite a lot with the reason for multi accounts so that the casino asks for KYC.

It’s proven that KYC will never bail you out if your account has a record of shared IP to other user especially if there’s similarities on game style on time.

There’s a lot of scam accusation that related to multiple account that still not resolved after fulfilling the KYC since KYC verification can be done by other people in exchange for payment. There’s a lot of services that offer KYC verification that is why casino usually doesn’t care about that info if they have evidence such as strong connection with shared IP.

Do you experience this personally? How do you get out of their accusations?

They resort to accusing players of multi accounting without showing stong evidence I can name 1xbit as one casino who is notorious of doing that, they accuse you of cheating then they ignore you, to avoid this neve rplay on unknown casinos and on casinos with proven accusation that of not paying their players eventhough the winning is legit.

And on your second question,, the best options is to expose them, you can open a scam thread here in Bitcointalk and review sites like CasinoGuru, that will ruin their reputation, to avoid all of these its better to choose the right casino to play on.

There are some that I finally choose not to do what the casino asks because I don't trust the casino but there are also I did what the casino asks because KYC is only at level 1 so there are no documents that must be uploaded and I trust the casino.
To prevent this, players must be willing to take the time to read the T&C because this is quite important and unfortunately many players ignore it because they feel it is not important, especially seeing the long text.

What options do you have when they won't?
Thanks in advance.

If they are legitimate the casino won't do any tricks just to delay your payouts since they process those request without any question.

But if the casino is scam usually the trick they do is they tell that they found something suspicious activity happening in your account then they request a KYC. If that happen then delaying tactics will happen and they might think about the user will just get bored on all the process and place again their winnings waiting for them to lose all what they have. Common practice of scam casinos.

So with these incident choose reputable and casinos in bitcointalk is more reliable than unknown sites.

I mean, if a business goal is to scam people they will never pay you out whether you win it legitimately or not. I never heard people make successful attempts at recovering their money from scam business, maybe if they want to sue or report them to police there will be investigation, but that's that. You can't really do anything which is why people never recommend you to spend the money you can't afford to lose and use new/unreliable platform.

If we're talking about reputable casino, I don't think they will intentionally witheld your winnings unless they make a huge mistake like what happened with Crypto sending $10m to someone. CMIIW. I think some of their excuses are kinda similar, check out the scam accusations board if you want to know more. Remember that most of them are self-reported so you'll need to verify them first.

Majority of the reason why casino find excuse not to release winner's fund is kyc. If a player has a faulty kyc update or has not been verified, he should be sure that such excuse must come especially when he hit them big. No one wants to part with big amount when you have not done the legal requirements to merit it and so, casinos would make sure they turn your payment down until you have done all verification. It is more taxing to do a kyc when you have won big and casinos that are not quite genuine may rely on the kyc to frustrate you from being paid and you may result to VPN which would make you fall into the trap. Thus, it is better completing kyc before initiating deposit.

Wait, how you scam the casino in the first place? Cheesy please elaborate.

There are many excuses like verifying KYC, cheating, using multiple accounts, using VPN, match fixing etc etc. Usually the casino will say "your account are under investigation" and they will not promise when it will be resolved, but it can take up to many weeks or 6 months.

Sometime they also have rules to not being rude and attacking the casinos, so if you use bad words to them, they technically allowed to confiscate your funds.

There should be no excuses, if it says that the withdrawal is instant, then it should be instant. I understand a delay of a few hours, even 24 hours, but anything beyond that is just stalling on the part of the casino that hurts them and is very irritating for the users.

I've been waiting for a withdrawal from Frebitcoin for 5 days now... I wrote to support, and I got a reply that they received my request and that's it. That was 2-3 days ago... Except for writing to support we can open a scam accusation here on the forum, and we can do the same in some casino review sites (AskGamblers, TrustPilot...).

Fake KYC might be the main reason why a casino might not pay you. They might claim that you used a bought identity to register.

There are times when casinos claim that you won because there was a technical problem. In that case, your win will be assumed to be a system error. A friend was denied his win because the casino said there was a display error. Which means the screen is showing a win that never happened.

Bonus exploitation by using multiple accounts is another reason they give to deny your financial reward.

Complain to the support team with proof that you never violated the terms of service.

Report to a community in which the casino has a presence like Bitcointalk

Report the problem to third-party casino ratings or review sites.

Consider reporting to the casino's licensors.

Seek legal advice from a professional.

Well, apart from what my colleagues have said, which are common excuses, there is a casino that is well known because it does not pay you and does not give you any excuse. Simply the hot wallet from which the withdrawal has to be paid is empty and if the owner doesn't have the balls to fill it, he doesn't pay you, no excuses. At some point in the future it will, but by then more than one nervous player will have already bet what he had in the casino and lost.

Any services not just casinos in the crypto world are very sneaky, there were even reported that services that is ban in this community that rug pulled a customer with a huge amount of Bitcoin. So in any case, there are still some sneaky casinos, maybe they are fly by night or hasn't established their reputation here so you must avoid them at all cost or casinos that have been flagged by the community already. But in any case, if you fall for their trick, I guess it's very hard to get back your crypto + winnings. Maybe you can reach out to 3rd party mediators as the last resort just to be able to get your winnings. But then again, this as scammers so I doubt that they are willing to cooperate to anyone and then they will just continue and more likely someone will still get scammed by them.

Just as others have said, the most commons issues that gamblers face when it comes to online casino is the issue of kyc - when players hit a big win it’s very common for casinos to asked them complete their kyc verification before they’ll let go of the winning. In some cases they can also use ToS - like them using vpn, multi account and some stuffs like that - but the most common is that of kyc described above.

But if you make use of a good casino, one that has been around for a long time and it’s known for resolving issues with their customers in a very good manner then you shouldn’t be worried about all of these, even if they asked you to submit documents you should still be able to withdraw after the process unlike those that will hit you with the “fake documents, stolen documents, unable to verify the authenticity of your documents, etc”.

Why they need an excuse to hold your account. Legit casino like Stake will allow withdrawal instantly without the need to hold someone account assuming that you win it fairly.

However scammer casino has a lot of excuse they can throw at you such as delaying KYC approval, multiple account, abuse on bonuses and worst is the general violation of the ToS without any specific details which they are allowed to do due to their ToS that you agree which they can hold/freeze an account whenever they want without explaining further.

In conclusion, there’s a lot of possible excuse so just play on reputable casino to avoid this headache.

I think the trick is they ask you to do KYC and you follow it but they decide not to pay you out and not let you withdraw your money. If you complaint to them, they will not give an answer and just quite pretending that you are not existed. If you playing gambling at not reputable casino or not trust casino, you will get tricks from the casino and you will lose your money. They can also delay the time to answer you and makes you waiting without any solution from them.

You don't have any options to get your money because they will not pay you and the worst are they can close or frozen your account without telling you. That will make you confuse and asking them but they will not response anything. So that is why you must be careful choosing the casino and make sure you read review from many members here.

The most common one is the KYC, looks like casinos love that method to hold the users profit, and casinos have some advance kick levels, the hard part of the KYC is to prove your source of income, and that's the step where a lot of users lose their money.

And another common one is the multiple accounts, if you have more than one account with the same IP, then the casino will block the withdrawals, and isn't fair at all because sometimes multiple users play in the casino from the same location, and that doesn't mean they are the same user.

Most times here on the forum when people makes complains about their funds being held, it's usually due to their ignorance reading the T&C of the casino befthey register or create an account. Most of these casinos have on their tic some countries banned from using their services. And for a user who doesn't care to check such details out first, he ends up depositing fund to his casino accounts and upon withdraw he finds out that his country isn't allowed to complete the kyc procedures on the platform. To me I don't see much that can be done, except you can request directly from their customers services for assistance, it would be a very long and stressful process and sometime you might not get your funds back. So the best thing to avoid such, try to read through their Toc before using any new casinos.

Gamble responsibly
Use trustworthy casino. Read the casino terms of service. Get verified first before you deposit. Do not have more than one account. Do not use VPN. Do not access the casino from a restricted country.

The best advice is to read the terms of service if the casino. Everything needed to do and avoid are there.
