Emotional control can be eroded even if someone is known to be very disciplined and firm in upholding their principles, because as you said, that changes in attitude can just happen spontaneously. It's all normal as a human being, it makes sense that many people say that gambling addiction is very difficult to overcome, because there are so many factors that make someone gamble again, such as experiencing pressure, remembering early wins or even seeking profit routinely through gambling. In the end, the impact will be very large, if someone fails to control their emotions in gambling.

This is very true, but most people believe that being old enough to gamble has given them the advantage of not getting addicted to the game since they have experienced every bit of it and learned strategies that could allow them to avoid getting addicted.
 
But one thing some people fail to understand is that you can be in control for many years and still lose control if you are not careful enough. It's just human nature; there are things that can easily contribute to our change in behaviour, and gambling is not exempt.

Yes, as I have said above, gambling is a business where it is clear that this is an activity that is generally only created to benefit the casino as a whole and in the long term, and you also said the right thing that every gambler does have a chance, or I mean the chance will always be there but it does not mean forcing yourself with various actions is an effective way to guarantee victory, in the end we will still never know when victory will come.

Right, I agree with that that true success in gambling does not mean how much you win but how smart you are in keeping yourself and your wallet safe and away from various significant bad possibilities, gambling is a risky game that is not based on any guarantee or certainty, and that is why prioritizing victory is a wrong idea because it is clearly too dangerous.

The fact that you have talked of new comers to gambling and how they lose money or get hooked to gambling is a pure sign of school boy mistakes... and I think the majority have passed through this and adjust their strategy as the gain experience and employ  good risk management system.

And just so you know , it's not only amateurs that get to be addicted to gambling, even pro gamblers do fall into this because it boarders around a persons character and self-control .

One thing that I have come to understand is that most gamblers that win big were never serious about it but they were gambling for fun and that gave them the free mind to play the game with happiness because they were entertaining themselves.

If you are only gambling because you are enjoying the fun in it, you will not think much on winning and that will make you gamble in a happy mood without thinking on any reward. Sometimes, you will be surprised with what your luck have for you when you win your bet, unlike those who puts profit first when they want to gamble will always get keep on gambling with burdens in my minds.

You have made good points indeed every gambler want to make profits that is winning as a primary aim and other things will be secondary but when profits maximization becomes prioritized it will definitely become problematic such that it can lead to addiction where the gambler will be gambling with an amount that he can't afford to lose as he will be spending more time and resources in gambling than the normal amd usual because the mindset has been set at making without much of the consideration that anything can happen and when thing turns to be on the opposite direction after which he can be chasing losses, it is best balance greed index as regards to gambling for fun and profits maximization.

Normally people will always lose in gamble because gambling is a game of lose and win that you can't really predict, but some people have choose to lose excessively because of their greed and lack of understanding.  In gambling the rate of loses can be reduced by managing risk and this can be properly done by understanding gambling very well. Having self control of knowing when to stop playing is very important in gambling and also to be contented with every little win. People lose as a result of greed just because they feel what they have won is not enough and this is just how they lose everything by trying to make more wins.

This is why self control would really be crucial on which on the time or moment that you would really be finding yourself that being too impulsive then its better to have some break or pause on what you are doing because on the time that you would really be having that kind of emotion burst or becoming that too uncontrollably be able to do the right thing then it would really be just that right that you should at least refrain on what you are doing. You cant really just that make yourself having tolerating on the things that you are currently doing. Gambling should be for fun and not for making money because on the time or moment that you would really be having this kind of intent then you are just that basically making yourself that being too desperate and this what causes or triggers up addiction and this would really be that something bad for someone who do tend to play gambling on this aspect.

Some people have the intention of gambling just for fun, but at the end you are going to see them get addicted to gambling, and some people might be gambling for the sake of money, but they are always setting limits for themselves, and once the limit has been reached, they are going to stop gambling. They are not really addicted to gambling, even if they are gambling for the sake of money.
 
Some people's mindsets change after they start gambling. Some of them don’t really know much about gambling, and their mindset is always different, but once they start gambling, their mindset is going to change.

That's a valid point and I do agree with you, those who can't control their emotions during gambling often end up losing money with it. I've seen gamblers who lost a lot of money because they were badly influenced by their emotions.

People want to earn more profits in gambling and when they see other's making profitable bets then they also get somehow greedy and want to earn similar levels of profits. Those people often increase the amount of bets to earn fast profits and most of the times they lose such bets.

I kind of agree with you on some gambling aspect but not entirely. Gambling casinos win and loss you get depends on the house. However, sports bet doesn't depend on the house, your prediction is yours and the outcome is determined by the games you choose to gamble with and the casino has no hand in determining the outcome to favour you or not unless you are playing some local domestic leagues the casino recognize which can be manipulated or fixed as they called it.

It's only a wizard that will see something that is design without his consent and want to win jackpot from it. Most of the time, most of the people you see today that are addicted to gambling in high numbers are casino players and not sport gamblers. When sport gamblers bet on their money and lose, they believe their strategy never works and can improve on them but casino players wager blindly without understanding the way out.

People gamble not other they want to make money, and a lot of them is see it as a side hustle, I don’t think gambling have professionals because even the so called professionals still lose money, skill fail most of the times because prediction is usually luck, the moment luck is not on your side then all your skill and showing it will be to waste because you did not win. They don’t want to accept that it is pure luck then they are on their own because it is something that everyone knows.  And greed is one of the problems that people need to deal with; just because you want to make money does not indicate that you will get money; the sooner you adjust your thinking, the better.

Even if you know the point of gambling, if you are not lucky, you will still lose. Why I said so is because even if you predict the game very well, the game will end up wrong. That is just because of luck because with your strategy and consideration, if you don’t have luck, then there will be no win, so don’t ever see people that lose as those that have no plan or consideration about gambling; that is why they lose it. No, in gambling you will have to consider the gambling you are playing, the risk of the game, your luck in games, and most importantly, counting your losses because when you discover that you have been losing so much in gambling then you will give some break to gambling for some days so that you might get some chance of luck, which will trigger their wins, but gambling without luck is very dangerous. 

There can be many different reasons why people lose their money. The main reason is of course when a person plays with money that he cannot afford to lose, be it bill money or credit money. Secondly, I have heard many times how people lose control of themselves after they lose/win and continue to play instead of taking a break and then continuing. I think the main problem is control, there are people who cannot control themselves in gambling.

I think all gamblers know the three elements you mentioned, they know how much they should bet, they also know the risk of gambling is very high, and they also believe that gambling can bring profit if they win in a bet or game. It's just that what makes them lose is that they gamble without a strategy, they gamble without consideration and they gamble using emotions that lead them to irresponsible gambling.

Actually, the principle of gambling is easy, and easy to understand, but the difficult thing is to control it all, especially if you are motivated by seeing other people's wins, of course you will want to achieve victory like that too. I totally agree with you, if only gambler can realize that no matter how skillful they are in making predictions the house always tends to be on the wining side because gamble is all about luck. The earlier they realize this the better for them in making good gamble decisions. Most gamblers are blinded by greed and that is why they fail to understand this simple logic, no matter how hard you try in explaining things to them, they always end up going back into the same route and eventually get addicted and also gamble irresponsibly all in the name of chasing after loses or believing to hit the jackpot someday.

You have to realise most individuals lose at casinos, which casinos them profitable. The odds are always set against you in this game. Still, realising that truth does not mean you should not gamble. Yes and maybe I will explain a little about the reason why the more we pursue victory, the more we actually lose money, remember that this is gambling which is established or created by the casino to benefit them, meaning this is a business for those who make the defeat of gamblers as a profit for them, meaning that from the beginning the casino has compiled an algorithm that the percentage of victory is much smaller than defeat, therefore as we see that defeat occurs much more often than victory even though for example you rarely gamble.

One of the keys to being able to survive in the sense of not experiencing various negative impacts in gambling is that from the beginning we must have the right understanding and perspective on gambling, such as having an understanding as I said in my first paragraph that the percentage of victory is much smaller than defeat, meaning that by having this understanding then you will not focus yourself on victory in gambling, but you will only take the entertainment, because of course you already understand that when you try to pursue victory then it is a reasonable idea to always come true.
