You are right. truth be told that, it's not about knowing your so called elements but rather it's about applying what you know and there were the challenge always comes in and since emotions are one of the greatest things to overcome in gambling, it sets in and a gambler unconsciously breaks the elements he already knows and starts chasing losses even leading to addiction.

at first I was seeing gambling as more of luck than a calculated risk but at long run, I understood that, the ratio fir risk and luck are almost the same if not the same and as such, we should always have a gambling budget when gambling.
