the most common of uses for bitcoin now is buying altcoin and the next is buying goods or what so ever but the priority now of bitcoin holder is buy altcoin...
I'd say that the most common one is it being an investment asset at this time, since it being the currency, that's used regularly, is a little further away in the future since it becomes the main use of it.
I also agree with you, currently bitcoin for me is a future asset, where bitcoin is very good developer and bitcoin price rate will also go up so it must be good for investment asset

For now in my country mate, bitcoin usage still not that widely used compared of what you have experienced in your country. The online wallet payment system was being introduced and not fully at local places purchased like on stores like supermarkets or any fast foods. There's a specific payment system that online wallet is having services like, online billing payments into selected options to prefer of with different bodies of companies affiliated with the site itself. Somehow I hope so that this implementations will cover all those entire country's adoption not even electronic payments, but rather offline payments maybe capable of.

common use would be trading and investment bitcoin, buying and holding it for future profit. can also use as payment for goods online and also payment for your job.
Different kind of people are using bitcoin for different purposed as per their approach of thinking and as per their needs. Some people take bitcoin light in their lives and using bitcoin for the time being purposes without any future plans/aims and wasting bitcoin buying clothes, electronic accessories or something rubbish things while wise men don’t use bitcoin in this kind of ways. In fact bitcoin is not created for trading and investment, but unfortunately still the facilities of bitcoin to use it as currency is not available every where and therefore we are using it for trading and other such purposes. i think in future we can expect to use bitcoin as currency in stores both for online as well as for offline purposes but it is in fact depending on the number of bitcoin users. Even tho the uses you listed are true and can be done , not all flight companies , hotels or restaurants accept bitcoin as a payment method since it's been newly introduced to a lot of people across the world and a much larger number of people is still unaware of it . You might find some markets that can accept it especially in china and the middle east generally but people in south Africa or in Latin America are certainly not aware of it .1.You can buy a flight ticket.

Bitcoin does also has many other uses such as using it in online casinos or Eshops such as Aliexpress etc . But if it were me i wouldn't even think of using my funds because the true potential of bitcoin isn't reached yet and i'm almost sure that it's value nearing 5.7k now will double by 2018 end .

Your current list is a good one and yes you can book flights at airports and the payment will be bitcoin but this can only happen if the airport is knowledgeable about bitcoin which is rarely seen. You can also convert bitcoin into cash and pay for the bills for utility. You can also use the cash to buy food and pay tuition fees at school.
