Because its independent from banks, goverments, politicians. That alone is unique world-wide.
Its store of value that can be easily accesible by you all over the world with internet access. That alone also is best reason to invest/store value.

That thinking makes this system very attractive from the eyes of those who wanted to be free from the government jurisdictions. The concept of being liberated with such control of your money without any interfere from banks and government. While in it's investment side, Bitcoin being volatile have a good chance of increasing value once adoptions happened with wider places.

We are investing in the technology and it's capability to become a worldwide success as a form of currency. People invest on something they can see some potential to grow. Just like when buying stocks of a company that you know that'll grow, or invest and create your own business because you can foresee something in your idea, or anything that you see that will have profit over time. Not only on bitcoin but also in other altcoins which has some promising features that bitcoin doesn't have.

actually people invest in bitcoin because they know if someday in future it price will more expensive. they just store btc and if the future accept and use bitcoin as currency, we already have and no need to buy bitcoin (with high price).
and now we use bitcoin to buy and sell when it have high profit. we care about future but we think we just heap it up and sell when the price so high. and we do it over and over again

There are 2 main reasons for why people invest in BTC, well at least in my opinion.

Considering the entire Bitcoin ecosystem, about 99% of investors are investing into bitcoin just because of its profitability. Investors in Bitcoin are just interested in the profits they are likely to make out of their investment rather than the services Bitcoin provide to the financial space. Personally, I invest in Bitcoin cause of its financial freedom it gives me. Just a few people invest in Bitcoin for the services it renders.
