If demand increases. There's no guarantee that it will, though I do agree about the supply side of the equation. The only thing that concerns me is that there's no end to the supply of crypto in general. What happens if people sour on bitcoin? There's not exactly a shortage of altcoins, most of which have far lower transaction fees and quicker confirmation times, and a lot of them have way more coins in circulation than bitcoin. Bitcoin has the biggest and most avid community by far....but it's also not a given that this is always going to be the case.

i am highly attracted to Bitcoin's price volatility, aside for it there are so many valid reasons to choose bitcoin.
Bitcoin is censorship resistant. With Bitcoin, you can send money to whatever address you like without fear of government interference.
People think Bitcoin is hard to use because they fail to comprehend it fully.

in my opinion, those are the only two that are interesting for investors to invest in bitcoin. I also invest in bitcoin for two reasons, bitcoin is very profitable with volatil price that we can use to trade and there are no rules.

The no.1 one uniqueness of bitcoin is decentralization, so I think that decentralization is what are we investing in Bitcoin, the anonymity. The absence of middle man like banks that is collecting our money for nonsense service. The feeling that you are free to use your money without worrying that the government is watching, that is what are we investing in bitcoin. But before answering it we must understand what is bitcoin actually and for what we are giving this much value in fiat currency.

As Bitcoin introduced by 2009 Jan it was in an experimental state. Later on its become more trusted and valuable. And it takes literally 5 years to reach to $10.

So how it becomes that much valuable?

Bitcoin has the advantage of partial divisibility. So that anyone can track the smallest part of it which is known as "Satoshi".

Users who supports bitcoin by holding them, have get huge returns for their investments.

So in a word I can say, we are investing trust in bitcoin, hoping great price for Bitcoin in the coming future.

I think it is the opinion of majority. As long as they see BTC as a good thing it will always perform better, whatever their reasoning were. If they saw it bad, it will be gone.

At the early stages of bitcoin people really invested in it because they believed in it and believed in its purpose and idea and its cause to change the way we handle transactions and how we think about money overall, but over time that whole idea started to fade away as more and more people got involved and the prices started to go up, and now people invest in bitcoin not knowing why it is made or what purpose it is fighting for, they just think that it is just a virtual currency, and the topics about it changed from why and how to how much and long, and its value has become just a tied to the price.

Honestly, I think it will never become an international currency if it will not be regulated by the government and its impossible that the government will just close their eyes when they are already seeing bitcoin are growing bigger that it attracts a lot of users. As bitcoin grows its adoption, it will also grow the amount of money in the market, and I think the government can't just close their eyes when they can get taxes on that.

As of now, we dont see it. But there is what we call the future and it is bright for bitcoin.

so that are the reason why people invest now on bitcoin ? you dont need to wait for the future because btc right now is already a currency that can be used all over the world or internationally because its online .

as long as you have the funds , you can convert it and become as one of bitcoin user/investor but i dont thik that the limited supply of btc can be a good thing for being an international currency but there are still altcoins that can people use if ever the supply of btc will not be enough .

Aside the investing or monetary part, for me, Bitcoin is about having or owning something I can control on my own with no interference from any third party.
Isn't it overwhelming how every part of human life is been controlled by the government indirectly? We toil day to day to earn a living, then after that you still have to make account how you own it up. It's exhausting, hopefully with Bitcoin this could be totally eliminated or minimum.

For me, the possibility of having a new era of currency.
