I support both long-term investments, participate in ico and make some payments using ETH.
I use ethereum in the first place in order to participate in ICO. As a long-term investment, I do not consider it, since it is a risky asset, at any time the price can go down again.
Most people use ICO to invest in ICO projects and trading. Some people will be involved in the ETH-based bounty campaign.

I am using Ethereum for trading purposes. I am a bounty hunter and there so many tokens that I received as a rewards for doing airdrops and bounties, in order to trade them, I must have eth on my wallet so that I can request transactions and pay the fees if necessary for trading them on the crypto exchanges. I use Ethereum for trading to accumulate more Ethereum in Forkdelta and keep majority of my Ethereum in my hardware wallet for long term investment. I don't buy ICO because the trend of ICO today is not good and usually going down. For trading

I've used my ETH to buy some cheap token that have a great potential to be an expensive tokens in the future.
I also selling my ETH to some of my friends with fiat payment (my local currency is Indonesian Rupiah) because most of them are need ethereum to pay gas when they want to transfer their tokens.
I invested in ICO, bought another altcoin. Half of Ethereum I produce I sell for dollars, and the rest I save. Ethereum is the basis for working with cryptocurrency.

To be honest. I just use Eth to be able to transfer my tokens to one wallet or the other or to exchanges. My asset is mostly in Bitcoin.
Many who are on this forum use Ethereum only for speculation. Almost every visitor of this company wants to earn money in a new market.
Ethereum has many uses for me. I change them into fiat if really needed and it helps me a lot on my daily needs. Being in this field, every coin is really important most especially bitcoin and ethereum that has strong foundation in cryptocurrency.
Just to send eth to participate in Ico,or probably as a payment for online work. For me it is usual method to transfer money ,but some of my friends don't accept it
I use ETH only for transaction purposes because there are lots of coins I have, the transfer fees can be paid with ETH mainly because I am a prize hunter so I don't think there is another reason for me to use ETH other than for transaction needs

For me, since I'm just a bounty hunter, I just used etherium for gas because without this we can't able to move at all our token to any other exchanges that we wanted to be. And it is mostly used when you execute trading in different exchanges and it is also a common pairing in different coins on exchanges.
Ethereum can use in different ways even trafing because it paired on multiple currency and also in investment you can purchase token through ethereum.
I use Ethereum to buy tokens from my favorite ICO projects, i also invested in Ethereum with half the capital and I want to invest for a long time without selling.
