I am using eth to trade for other coins and to pay for the transaction fee (gas) of tokens that i trade. I used to be invested in eth, but i am not interested in eth as an investment anymore. The current price is nice though.

if I personally use ETH just to be a long-term investment, because I think only ETH is a good long-term investment (giving me a big profit).

I am using ETH only for investing in ICO. You also have mentioned investing in ETH which is not really a usage of ETH. If investment were an usage of a coin then every shitcoins also have usage. But, the reality is usage does not equal to investment.

I am using ethereum through transactions here in cryptocurrency especially in trading. It is a good platform for us to have. It is also good for a long term hold. It might be too low for now but I believe that prices would recover soon as soon as the market recovers.
I used ETH for trading in different ICO's but when I earned a lot of ETH then it's time to invest it for the longterm. and ico's are dead now.

I have been holding some eth for a while now and it has accumulated a lot of value since then. I also use my eth to fund ICOs and even lend some for developers so they can have a starting edge. I pool some of my ethereum and hold them for long term.
The use of the ETH coin is very exaggerated today because today, in addition to using ETH on the ETH platform itself, it is not used anywhere, I think that in this case there are no more places that ETH accepts about crypto-currencies. Of course there is also an ICO.
