I've used the exchange for many years and before this hack, never really had any issues.
They were good because they had a wide variety of coins, they supported USDT, they had reasonable trading fees, withdraws were quick, and they had good security (2fa).
I am only upset that they aren't posting updates what is exactly going on since its been over 2 weeks and they never even sent out an email to their clients, very unprofessional.

This exchange has been hack and already afew day offline, this is the most bad exchange because offline so long, others exchange that been get hack just offline in 1 or 2 day. They are not really professional even though alot of trader trust them. They did not give any update for few day about the last situation.
Maybe because they had to do nothing to make investor's money back like refund or something similar with that. Or maybe they have their own story and maybe really closed and make investor loss their funds. It make us must be careful when want to save assets in exchangers. 
so far, I've only used a few times to sell coins that only exist in that market. I feel sad when the market has been hacked, but that is something that cannot be avoided. at least, cryptopia is also a pretty good exchanger for me.

When using this trading floor, I found it quite interesting for a trading floor to trade quite a few large Altcoins listed. But the problem is that trading with this floor is quite slow, so you have to consider it before using them.
I only use cryptopia once before. And thankfully i never experience and trouble in using tgat exchange. But since then i never use it again. So i did not experience the trouble that some trader are expereincing today.
I don't like this exchange totally. I don't know why cryptopia exchange is very known to everyone. Once I traded there for few days, and then I hated it and stop making any trade there. In every scam signal groups, people use cryptopia exchange to manipulate the price. Cryptopia withdraws fee also high. Overall I don't like this exchange, even Idex is far better than cryptopia!

Some of my friends tell me Cryptopia is a solid exchange to trade on. Especially for the smaller coins (not in the top 300),
But, some other friends absolutely hate Cryptopia, they say the UI sucks and it even has scam coins on them.
Both of them have a point, I know the UI isn't the best, but i also know it's good to trade smaller coins on.
I'm wondering, have you ever used this exchange and if yes, would you recommend it?

There is no deep liquidity in Cryptopia compared to competitors (Binance,Poloniex). I still use their exchange starting from last year but withdrawal is totally headache. Last withdrawal was continued more than 2 day and this was enough to stop trading there. If you know better alternative go for it,for other cases Cryptopia can be useful for small turnover. I have used them only once and I do not claim to be expert on cryptopia at all because I am not but honestly considering all other exchanges in the market I think they are fine. They are not great or maybe not even good but they are fine.Looking forward to see some of your replies!
I do not think they are scammers (never can be too sure about this) but they are definitely not great at what they do. They do not have much incentives to use their websites so people that are using exchanges like binance or bittrex do not really look at cryptopia and say maybe I should switch. I for example used poloniex for years and barely started to move to bittrex when binance came out and moved to binance quickly.
Cryptopia do not have that extra features or marketing to make you feel like doing that switch to them.
Today, the CMC has more than 300 different cryptocurrency exchanges and Cryptopia - one of the many. Cryptopia is no different from most of them, but I try not to trade on it because there are too small volumes. Yes, there is a chance to sell well the tokens are not in the top 100 but it happens so that the deal will have to wait a very long time. And the most important disadvantage is that trading with a large volume is simply impossible. When buying 1 bitcoin, there is an increase in the price to 50-100% because there are few tokens in the glass.
My experience when using the cryptopia exchange seemed to be nothing interesting and everything was ordinary, just buying and selling tokens only and after getting the benefits I preferred to leave the exchange because the volume was not too high and the coin price movement was very slow.
I started my first trade on Cryptopia exchange and I learn about trading from this exchange. Lot of coins have on this exchange. But big problems is there have lot of shitcoins.
I haven't used Cryptopia for a long time to trade, but I think cryptopia is one of the big exchanges that has a large volume of trade. Indeed, there are many types of coins that are almost unknown to people, and in my opinion if we know the right coins, that's where we will get a big profit from the cheap coins.
I would not use that trading platform because everything seems to be very difficult to control. Besides, I just joined the big trading floor to get the safety and I have more choices. I usually only invest in the top 50 of the Crypto market. So Cryptopia is not my choice.
Cryptopia need bigger trading volume so the spread of the each coin there will be less. And Cryptopia need to add some feature, like buy market and trigger price that many trader need it to use. This exchange was a few years operated and become legit and trusted exchange. This exchange should be has potential to become top 10 crypt exchange if they keep create good product.
I deposit my 25,000 worth of LINA in this exchange. It came from my signature campaign which I earned a month ago. I had a good transaction by the way and in fact, I cash out my BTC very fast. Cryptopia never broke me. It service is good and awesome. I like this exchange because I do not need to fill the KYC just to have a transaction. Cryptopia, best than other exchange.
Cryptopia is a very difficult and complicated exchange to be honest. I might not know about others but its not a good exchange for constant trading. First time I got there I was so frustrated due to the site hanging here and there. Pages taking like 3mins to load. Personally, I find It very complicated.

I once traded there, but the exchange it self scares me that it might end up scamming people and will be hacked by some other people, but it stand still for now.
