You can use hdmi -> dsub adapter and put 100 ohm resistor across pins 1 and 6.
mate just to let you know this converter is working without resistor because the signal is converted anyway from diginal<->analog. Just plug it without resistor and you will see it works

and if this converter will do its job it costs ~2$ on ebay and gives a huge difference from 1500$ to 200$ for quantity of 100. But where is logic if one can use this item for 2$ to trick the rig why there are dummys worth of 15$? What is the difference?
