We still don't know what might happen, but all we can say is that the price of bitcoin is really unpredictable. But I don't think it will reach $2000 this year, maybe $1500 to $1600 but will not reach $2000. It is too early for bitcoin to reach that high price.

In my opinion, bitcoin will continue to grow and have good potential in future as the best digital currency that has highest value in coin trading, and supported by the growth of bitcoin users in various countries is increasing so that it can increase popularity of bitcoin.dan
My belief about bitcoin prices in 2017 hopefully can be achieved and able to penetrate $ 2000

Eh... potentially. I won't be certain about it and saying that we're going to go up essentially $800 or $900 in a year, and I think that it's pushing the limits of the market. Maybe by end 2018 I can picture Bitcoin being something close to $2k, but by the end of the year it doesn't seem really that possible. I can be very, very wrong, and I don't do much speculation, but based on everything I've seen it seems like a definite challenge.
Well, whatever. Maybe we all get lucky and make a lot of money.

After speculating that bitcoins price will reach $1,300 - $1,500 and we are jumping that too far at $2,000 though this is my thought about bitcoin's price. And I hope that this is very possible to happen for this year and if ever we reached $1,500 after a couple of months let's expect that the price will have a chart of getting up.

As for me Bitcoin will reach $1500 this year, I know $2000 is quite high since we still have this scalability issue and political drama. I think Bitcoin will continue to be adopted by every country thus pushing its price to what I have said. There are also some consideration on the ETF decision so we might still see some price increase until the release of the review.

Im actually wondering when you have made that prediction.
You say that you expected this price some time after halving, so i assume it was more than 2 years ago.
If im correct, then it was a great prediction, maybe you are a prophet Wink

For 2017, i expect the price somewhere close to 1500-1550 at thd end of the year, but I assume that we will see the domination of bears on the very beginning of 2018. In my opinion we need some falls to still have constantly rising price.

All my expectations to the bitcoin value has been achieved, i had imagined bitcoin worthing 1200-1400 dollars at 2020 after the halving moment, but well it has achieved already and it has been just one year. Soo for me bitcoin has tuened into a cash machine without limits anymore.

but i am very much hopeful that if the present trend of bitcoin will continue then bitcoin is going to hit 2000 just in few months, and may be at the end of 2017 it will possibly covery 2500 USD, i think with the rate bitcoin price is increasing so it is not a strange to hit 2500 USD level in next 8 months, i think bitcoin can cross that limit very easily. bitcoin just need to continue its trend of increasing its price.

since the entry of bitcoins we have seen that the price of bitcoins have reached 1000$,now by the end of september we can predict that the price of bitcoins may reach upto 2000$,well on the other hand we can expect that the price of bitcoins would eve reach upto 3000$ at the starting of 2018.

What i thought is bitcoin price will rapidly increase to 2000dollar this year 2017 we see that the bitcoin user's increasing really fast and also the demand of bitcoin is increasing also so definitely no doubt that the bitcoin price can reach 2000dollars or more this year or maybe 1500dollars but what is for sure is the bitcoin price will still increase.

I just hope the price of bitcoin in 2017 will be around $ 1500 and in early 2018 the price of bitcoin will be $ 2000, that would be great for bitcoin investors like me. I know the value and potential of bitcoin is huge, everyone hopes the price of bitcoin will increase fast but I think if the price of bitcoin increases too fast, bitcoin can collapse because "more haste less speed", increasing too fast is not a good thing, bitcoin needs to be a steady increase, not increased dramatically

I am also very curious to see it happen too. Hitting 2000 is surely a huge milestone for btc. 2000 means that the total capacity of btc has doubled and more influence btc can give. I believe there will be more services that accept btc as a mode of payment.

We have to wait for all components to support each other's development of bitcoin. If everything has been received and ready with bitcoin then i am sure any miracle can be created by bitcoin. Including significant and unexpected price increases. And all the benefits we can get at that time.

That is right, without any further development needed for bitcoin, price won't increase itself.
We need more improvements right now, the blockchain suffers due to a big traffic sometimes. there are also spam attacks occuring from time to time, which are basically slowing the chain really hard.
Without any solutions such as SegWit or 8 MB blocks, we just won't be able to stay on the price above 1500$ without the signals that it is going down: bitcoin would be simply overvalued in such a case, the asset cannot rise constantly when it has a huge technical backlog.

Give it more time, dont be so greedy about the cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is not a magical asset which increases its price over and over, it has to decrease too.
