i think Bitcoin trades and exchangers has huge part in impacting the cost of Bitcoin. Merchants proceed to speculate and execute productive exchanges, which will misleadingly prompt an expansion in Bitcoin price.
Up until now, 2017 has been a decent year for the computerized money. With 8 more months to go and bunches of enhancements already made by Bitcoin network, it is very possible for Bitcoin cost to hit $2000 at some point in the following year.
Agree. This has been the year of Bitcoin for sure, and I believe that the digital currency will continue to expand as it drives interest from major investors, merchants, and businesses worldwide. As people are starting to realize that Bitcoin is just like Gold (due to its scarcity) they will invest in it for the long term.
The way I see the price increasing, means that soon Bitcoin will reach levels above $2000 and beyond. But for it to increase further, it would need to implement a scalable solution like SegWit, to grow its user base and help it become widely used.
Even still, exchanges and traders themselves have an impact on Bitcoin's value like you said. It would only be a matter of time before Bitcoin becomes worth more than a carat diamond or not. Just sharing my thoughts.
