APY really matters when we are talking about shitcoins?

Imagine we get 10% APY for a coin but the coin has the potential to bump or dump 50% in few hours.

Stable coins with decent APY is worth to be considered as passive income.

Unfortunately it does matter for some people. If you could invest into something on the very early minutes and then you make a 55500% return or something for an hour and then sell it and get out, then they will care about it. What APY you are getting in a shitcoin doesn't matter only in the long term.

I prefer stuff like uniswap and cake where I could invest into not only the stablecoins yield farming like busd-usdt type of liquidity mining, but we are also making a good profit based on the other good tokens like bnb and so forth as well. However, just because I like to invest into something that makes sense doesn't mean that I do not understand the ones who invest into a little more silly stuff because they are looking for a profit in the very short term.

I'm currently farming at Ref Finance. It's one of the top DeFi stack of NEAR protocol. A big reason why I'm actually farming there as opposed to other Defi platforms on ethereum network is the fact that I can do all my farming activities including compound and yet spend very insignificant amount for fees and there's no speed tradeoffs. Everything's just super fast and convenient for me. When I was still farming on SushiSwap, the experience was bad. I mean, I don't compound rewards because of gas fees will slash my reward to the bare minimum.

There are nearly zero coins that can give you a passive income. Passive income means an income that gets generated for a very long time and gives you good values on your hands each time when disbursed. These coins cannot give gains only each month, so stop expecting passive income type gains here. However, you can invest in coins that came through IDOs after they get listed on Pancakeswap or an exchange and wait for it to fall down first, then buy it and wait for its rally but don't hold these coins very long. Just take profit and start looking for another coin.

Bitcoin- in bullish time

I take a huge consideration to BTC and some altcoins.
Some new projects like SOL also have the potential for short-term investment but I put a huge chunk to Bitcoin for the long term. I can't assume that it could be a passive income but at least I gain something from them and enough to compensate for the time I'm holding.

We can also pick coins among the top 10 but we can't deny that most of the new projects are going to hypes and riding with them seems more profiting, however, the risk is too high and we can't consider them as passive income as well.

I certainly don't just focus on how much I get but what I've focused on is for the project that will stay long and has the potential. Actually, a lot of coins have the potential but because of the market volatility, we can't say that it is considered as our passive income generator. Not, really and have to think that we can't just rely upon crypto. Yes, we can make a good profit here but that doesn't mean that it gonna be work all time unlike if we do some business. Or having a job that we surely have something to get at the end of the month but here in crypto, we can't be sure of anything.

Everyone who knows Axie Infinity and just have someone who plays for them and called as scholars, this is an amazing passive income to me. It may not that be much as others because of having a weak team but it's still passive.

Well most programs you will find offering APY, are ponzis in disguise. I have found one good way to earn passive income is through pancake swap. You can get the instructions on how to do it from the below article,

I get a fairly large passive income from staking $cake $nmx
I have tried many AMM platforms but only pancakeswap and nominex have good price stability

You can try to do your own research on good assets for staking but I suggest you only choose crypto assets that have a large back up, a large community and also a good reputation

Currently i am using Near can earn some passive income or ch fiance is one of my options right now these APY generating projects are quite good for the profits received from passive generation monthly or yearly you can refer to the specific APY of the project here https://www.chainge.finance/
