for me blockchain.info is the best i think

Wow! That is a lot of votes for blockchain. It is undoubtedly the most used wallet in the bitcoin world.  Smiley

Unfortunately I would say. Because if you have your coins stored on blockchain you are relying on third party (in this case blockchain s.a luxembourg) to hold your coins and in order to use them you need to access the blockchain.info website. I can understand that newbies will go directly to these kind of wallets but my advice is to  use Electrum, it can hold up to 2000 bitcoin addresses and its very easy as you can just install it on your desktop (must be a clean OS, preferably Linux OS) and you can do whatever you like with your coins since you are not relying on third party to hold the coins for you but you are holding the coins yourself.
It just needs to take the first step to migrate to a desktop wallet and trust me you will never look back and totally forget about blockchain and alike wallets.

I am also using Electrum wallet because it is easy to use and I am holding my funds I don't have any problem using it when it gets buggy I will just reinstall it and use my seed piece of cake my advice to newbie is to learn how to use electrum and use Linux.

Of course a desktop wallet is much better than any online wallet in terms of security. But if you think about accessibility an online wallet is just much easier to use. Especially if you are new to bitcoins. As a beginner I assume you don't have more 100 USD to play around. If of course you start into bitcoins directly with <1+ BTC go directly for a desktop wallet.

Blockchain.info is preferred, because the updated version has got increased security features along with much friendly interface, accessibility and detailed description about the transaction made.

Blockchain.info and Coinbase.com is the best online bitcoin wallets that their security system is very great.

Also bitcoin core is also good if your computer is completely secured no virus or anything suspicious software in your computer.

coinbase is a great online wallet, there is best place to store bitcoin and available for trading too
just remind, dont put all your bitcoin in one wallet (very risky)

Hi,
Mycelium was my first wallet when i got to bitcoin, a few months ago. Recently i switched to breadwallet (because iPhone). Breadwallet is more girly. Way simpler and i kinda love it that way. In the end, it really makes no difference, as long as i have those 12 words safe, right?

Always activate 2 factor authentication to be secure, otherwise it just too easy to hack.

Blockchain.info is very anonymous and not secure. If someone has access to your email adress and your password he can just send all your coins to his own wallet.

I really like light wallets like Multibits, although I find their latest version cumbersome with the extra (sometimes un-necessary) security.
