More users prefer Blockchain wallet for the easiest accessibility. For the long term holding localbitcoins were preferred for its increased security access as well trading ease.

Any of desktop wallet is good for staking as well as storage of Bitcoin. Use of qt client give good security. But should have to take precautions as back up of .DAT file, Back up of wallet address with private Key etc.

this security majors can give more freedom and accessibility to user while using desktop qt client. And always keep your wallet encrypted.

Bro I am using online wallet only so far and I have used blockchain and coinbase. I would say coinbase is best among these both because coinbase is with low transaction fees.
Bro could you please explain me about the dat file and how it's vital in desktop wallet?

for I prefared coinbase.com wallet, I know it is safe and best to use,i use it for almost 1yr..hopefully I don't encountered problem to this bitcoin wallet.

I'm afraid of using Coinbase, since they are regulated I've read of them closing customers accounts due to suspicion of them doing something bad, and the people saying they are innocent. Why take that chance. Especially since they are monitoring your transactions.

at the moment I prefer to use blokchain.info, this is the best online wallet
easy to use, simple and very secure.

That's the worse suggestion any Sr.Member can make. Blockchain.info is an online wallet and you are keeping your coins in some website which a third party (the owners of the website control that wallet). Even if they say they do everything inside your browser and they don't keep your password its better to keep your coins in cold storage or hardware wallets. By keeping your coins in a hardware wallet you remove the chance that your coins get stolen.

Conclusion is never keep your coins in an online wallet. Buy a cheap hardware wallet here www.ledger.com (not using my referral link) and stop once and for all to worry about the security of your coins.

Staking? Bitcoin isn't a POS coin in case you didn't know it already.

Also, there are different wallets out there. Most people prefer to use a light weight wallet that doesn't require you to download the entire blockchain like you do with Core.

there lack of myacellium which is mist powrful and best for slow net user and can handle any btc adress through private key .
and i will suggest for newbie here they should use coinbase instead to any other wallet . because coinbase is free from transaction charge .

I found blockchain info a simple to use wallet with a nice amount of features. It is pretty quick too and I can set custom fee on transactions. For advanced users, I recommend Bitcoin core, though. With bitcoind, it has an infinite amount of possible features thanks to the custom development possibilities.
Is blockchain has trasanction fee in every transaction you made? because i see the difference between my country base biitcoin wallet and block chain well its a big advantage to me when i use bitcoin wallet based on my country because i can easily sell bitcoin and withdraw cash from atm.

Personally I like blockchain.info but the idea of using a browser wallet is just full of security flaws as well as minor troubles "Like the recent downtime" and mostly people don't keep the private codes as well.. I been using Armory for few months and it was a good experience 'although a little complicated in the beginning'.

For me, each type of wallets have their advantage and disadvantage and choosing a wallet service depends on how a wallet is more convenient to you. However, I would still suggest to use more than one wallet so you do not loose your funds all together, just in case.  Wink

i can agree on you as blockchain.info being the best ONLINE wallet but among all the others i will not prefer to use blockchain.info as i don't wanna keep my coins in an online wallet, what could i do if they suddenly close their site? i couldn't just cry at my bed right?

not recommed to store all your bitcoin in the online wallet
I think the online wallet is very helpful for fast transaction.
