This is the penultimate book from the order I mentioned in August: Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash. This is one of the two books with references to Cypherpunk's activity, the other one being also authored by Neal Stephenson: Cryptonomicon. I am really anger to read it, as not many books talk about these brilliant minds!

My last book from the order I made is Neal Stephenson's The Confusion, which is a part of the so-called Baroque Cycle. It contains three books - Quicksilver, The Confusion and he System of the World. I'll post a picture with all three books once I'll have all of them at hand. I decided to buy also Baroque Cycle, as I understood that the action is somehow related to the one from Cryptonomicon, although it doesn't refer anymore to Cypherpunks.

I tend you reads usually two books at the time, one about business and investing and one novel I read before sleeping when I am already tired. Reading a business book right before sleeping is not such a good idea for me because I forgot too many things in the morning. The business book I am reading right now is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki , and the Novel is The Guardians by John Grisham. Both are great books I can only recommend.

This is the antepenultimate book from the order I mentioned in August: George Orwell's 1984 (translated in Romanian), a book which I already mentioned here in January 2020. I read it since 2018, but in electronic format. Now I managed to obtain also the physical form of the book. I suggest you all to read it. It is a book about state surveillance taken to the extreme, a book which inspired also the Cypherpunks' work, as its action became a reality.

Since two days ago I started reading another book from the ones I ordered recently:

Suelette Dreyfus & Julian Assange - Underground

It is a fascinating book about the rise of Australian hackers and phreakers from 1980s, including the early activity of Julian Assange which, by that time, was known under the nym Mendax. For all Assange lovers this is a must read.

Besides , when it was launched in 1997, the book's price was 400$!!! I managed to buy it now at about 19$. Get it while you can!

I just bought a few more books. First one is Vernor Vinge's True Names, previously advertised by me inside this topic back in January. At that time I read it in a pdf form, but I really wanted to have it also in physical form -- and I finally have it!

The hard copy of the novel contains a huge preface (about 187 pages long), which include some essays about privacy and cryptography. The most important of these essays is Tim May's True Nyms and Crypto Anarchy. This is itself a great reading but I couldn't find it anywhere on the Internet. If anyone finds it, feel free to share it. But I believe this essay was written especially for prefacing the book True Names, thus there are low chances to find it on the Internet.
