Lol, like i said, this team is run by a bunch of  kids who don't give a shit and actually possess no real development skills, no leadership, no plan, no product, no sense of time and definitely no respect for investors.  Every time a deadline is missed and this happens 100% of the time, their reason is always the same, some team members were on vacation, lmao....pretty damn pathetic.  We all know the reason why, these kids have other projects that are more important to them.  OPC/X is like 10th on their list of urgency.  It's the black sheep and step child of the family.  Sad thing is, OPC/X actually has great potential if only these kids could buy a clue.  What a crying shame and one hell of a mess.

This project is run by a bunch of part time kids on the beach.  I mean come on, my blind grandma can do a better job than this group of misfits.  Over a year and nothing to show for?  Prove me wrong, I dare ya.

I respect all your views. However, many ideas emerged within the gaming industry. None of them can achieve serious success.
Indeed, quite a lot of project emerged around the gaming industry, I don't agree they didn't achieve succes though. Projects such as Enjincoin has made serious steps in enabling a bigger public to use their product and if i'm not wrong, they even have some sort of cooperation going on with Samsung.

The problem with gaming projects however, in my humble opinion, is that they are all revolving around companies and already existing platforms. I think that, in the future, we will see a shift of 'power' to the gamingcommunity itself. While different platforms/projects use different methods to make an economy around their website, it is always controlled by themselves and has limits of how to use it. They are making a lot of money on that, almost similar to something like Tether, but without the backup of anything but their own website.

The gaming/streaming industry is still relatively young and controlled by 3 main streamingplatforms; Twitch, Youtube, Facebook. While it's growing rapidly and maturing, we see a move for independence from the bigger streamers and the smaller ones are limited with their growth because the platforms and programs around it take a big fee. Coming back to the point, lol; To achieve serious success, you need the gamingcommunity behind you instead of big companies, because they will use it to gain profits and not benefit the entire community, which is a core purpose of cryptocurrencies. The Overpowered project is made from this thought, with instant TX, possibility to be part of the network with a Masternode, neglectible fees, an easy UI which is getting improved more, mobile wallets for usability on the way, trade, stake, buy giftcards, set up your own store, etc, etc.

While most projects think about how to integrate the technology in games, almost none have thought about making something from which the entire community can profit. Technology is nice, but we need to learn from history, where technology is still being used to make money off the big public instead of making it better, easier and cheaper for all!

Leading Crypto Sports Betting & Casino Platform
This is what I will want from an altcoin with gaming-centric purpose.
1. Easily accessible to generate and trade. i.e., using my gaming rig to generate some coins, then exchange it for the altcoin and spend the same to purchase games from the platform.
2. Legit keys for sale.
3. Making popular titles available for consoles and PC.
4. Providing a way to make In-app purchase for competitive games.
5. Secure platform for transactions.
(Purchasing of legit keys can be made from the country with the lowest gaming prices which also support global activation and then can be sold for the same worldwide.)
My point exactly, we have so many projects in the Crypto space but the truth is that all of them just have one thing in common which is bringing us down and hindering mass adoption, and this is not building a user friendly platform that users don't need to follow a guide before they can make use of the platform,  even though it's a reward system built on the Blockchain, it's not just about money but simplicity.

I am using trazor hardware wallet and suggest everyone go with hardware wallet rather than online wallets as there are many online wallets available but those can be hacked as heard many times that someone lost his funds due to hacking.
Storing is a whole other issue, but it is indeed recommended to at least not leave your coins on an exchange. When your own security is normal there shouldn't be any need to worry.

The development and maintenance of the coin on the market will take a lot of resources. But if the game fails in the market or it is unplayable? What to do in this case? The price of the coin will fall and this coin will refuse all streamers and players.

Not a new idea. I saw a lot of ads that twitch is already introducing its cryptocurrency for donaters. This huge platform will make it easier to make all agreements with online stores and link your coins to buy games.

It's indeed not a new idea and the Overpowered project has also been on this for almost 2 years now, with OPCX in existence for just over a year. I didn't see any news articles about this, would you care to share? I could only find articles about them accepting some cryptocurrencies as payment method and quickly stopped with that. Also streamlabs, which is a program to add features to your stream, has a widget that lets you donate some cryptocurrencies to streamrs. Nothing much like this project which is about a lot more. Also streaming on youtube, facebook and other platforms is getting more popular and imo there should be an external independent economy catering to all of them, wouldn't you agree?

The term Overpowered is also quite known in the gaming world. It could be used as a mean of status and show which player is the most overpowered, chosen by the viewers of the stream. There would be a max cap needed then ofc, to not make any difference between 'poor' and 'rich'.

Not sure if this idea is feasible or not, but my idea would be to allow game developers to list their games on our platform for a small fee. Looks a lot like Steam platform but we can allow even amateur developers to showcase their games. That to me doesn't seem too much of a bad idea at all. Anyway, this project aims to bridge the connection between gamers and streamers all around the world so it definitely has a lot of potential.

That's certainly a very good idea. It would be great to attract great developers, but I also like the idea of offering a platform for amateur developers. I also immediately think of games like candy crush or puzzles. Developers might be able to integrate an amount of OPCX for rewards/passing levels which can be used to buy extra turns/lifes.

Listing in OPCX, payment for games in OPCX, sounds good!

That's another thing that comes up sometimes btw; Is it functional/appreciated when USD/EUR is added as payment option?

Yes I was thinking of the same thing as well. Incentivize efforts for playing the game through OPCX rewards will also help. Maybe even a referral system where if a user can get someone to use our platform, both of them will get an amount of OPC/OPCX as a form of referral reward. The ideas for growing the ecosystem are abundant if you think about it Smiley

I think the opportunities are plenty and this sure is an exciting project.
Think it is important to create a mobile wallet for ease of use. Everyone carries a cell phone on which games are played. By also being present on cell phones you will further increase the use cases.
Also purchases from online stores are now mostly done with smartphones so your store will be no exception.
A mobile wallet is talked about in the team a lot. It will be on the roadmap later on, or appear as a surprise sometime during the year. Google(Android) and Apple(iOS) cards will be available in the store also, so it's definitely needed imo to develop this mobile wallet and also a Store app.

Mobile micro-transactions are the fastest growing part of the gaming industry. With the improvement of smart phones it's probable that this will continue and therefore it would be the right thing to focus on. We have even seen some streamers pass by that game on a tablet/phone nowadays, crazy stuff!(in a good way)

As the project will mostly cater to the stream gaming industry much like Twitch, but with the use of the altcoin for donation is good. Though the platform should also have something for people how just use the platform to watch streamers like an achivement that will provide them rewards: An example will be if the viewer have watch a certain number of hours in the platform, or have subscribed and tipped the streamer a number of times. This will let the viewer engage with the platform more and will retain them as the will have incentives while they are watching their favorite streammer.
Possibilities are almost limitless in this industry that's still getting bigger everyday! This might also be something that you could see very soon. It's our intent to set up some system where viewers and streamers can engage with eachother very easily. This works both  ways though. Streamers that are on board with OPCX can accept it as a way of donation on their stream. They can save this up, stake it and at a given time they could buy a few giftcards from it and share it back among their viewer community. They could also directly distribute the coins, so the  'winners' can save it up, stake it and spend it any way they want or cash it out to btc or fiat. They could even choose to start a trading career, lol.

There is already a way on Twitch to track your loyal viewers. They can earn loyalty points when they watch the stream often. This could be used to make a decision on who gets some OPCX. It would all be in the hands of streamers/viewers though and is greatly dependant on understanding how easy, safe and durable it can be. These coins can only be generated by staking, so it's not plausible to install something that might require an infinite amount of coins when it blows up. The coin has 8 decimals though, so micro transactions couldbe handled a lot in simpler games that run for a certain period like puzzles/enigmas. The developer has to put them in theirselves though!

It's a great reply. I didn't expect to get the answers so quickly.
1. In the part of generating coins through gaming rig, it was for using POW mining to mine most profitable coins and then exchanging it with OPCX coins and then stake them or use it to purchase any game or cards. Yes, there will be degradation but people who know what they are doing won't have a problem with it.
2. For In-app purchases, I was talking about in-game currency such as V-bucks for Fortnite and such but availability of gift cards like PSN cards can make it possible to purchase the card, load it into PSN account and use the balance to purchase any in-app transaction they want, so with an addition of step, this seems possible too.
3. Will the platform support trade of articles for OPCX coins?

Thanks, whenever I'm online I try to answer everything to my best abilities!

1. I could only encourage that, lol. If you gain a decent amount of OPCX this way, it might be possible to get a free giftcard or at least a decent discount by staking it. That's one big plus for the Proof-of-Stake system in my opinion, you don't have to worry if you know what you're doing..you just load them into your personal wallet, a staking pool or the custom made Discord staking pool(connects to your Discord ID and keeps track of your balance + staked coins, withdraw deposit at any time and don't worry about connections).

2. Unfortunately, I don't think this will be possible with a cryptocurrency that has it's own economy and market. In principle, we don't think a currency of any kind should be influenced by their 'owners' by just creating more of that currency(We have plenty of examples where that could go wrong and we should use crypto to improve the systems, not copy it). This is what Epic games can do with V-bucks, there is no limited supply. It could however function as a bridge between these kind of in-game currencies, either very soon with the gift cards and later directly

3. The Overpowered store(only a preview) probably won't, because it's supposed to fix on gaming/streaming, but it's not the only thing around. Also integrated into a relatively new marketplace called MCM Marketplace. You can easily set up your own marketplace in here, kind off like the crypto version of eBay and offer your services/products. There are quite a few coins that are accepted as payment. Of course in the future there will only be more possibilities to engage and trade services/goods for OPCX coins! You could also directly contact the team on Discord!
