Participating ieos are of course more profitable comparing to buying from exchanges. You can buy much cheaper from ieos. But you have to be sure about the project not to be scammed. Because you have to wait till they are listed.

Waiting is not a problem with IEO, the fact that it's called IEO, it will be listed after the sale and exchange guaranteed that.

How many IEOs do we have for now? I don't think that it's profitable than holding.
If the coin you are holding is bitcoin then it's much profitable than investing to an IEO. Because if you are caught late selling the token there, you'll be in the verge of losing.

It getting risky if you'd by it already before the token release because some of them has a zero exchange value and you waste your time. It is good to buy if they already releases the token or coin then buy when the token was cheap then wait until it reached ICO price. Do choose good token before investing for you on able to earn profit.

Sometimes it confuses me whenever I found a project with brilliant development and good further possibilities I ask myself should I invest on it during IEO or not then I changed my mind and wait for that moment when the coin/token will be available to trade so I could buy below IEO price because I have seen mostly coins/tokens don't go up immediately so this stage looks perfect to me to invest in the coins/tokens in which I found good possibilities.

the question is quite difficult, but its a good topic to be talked about, actually the problem is not ieo or ico, its really depend on the project, if its real problem no problem, but ieo is more secure because it will be listed sooner or later but the success of the project is still unsure. please always do a thorough research about the project before you invest your hardworked money.

yes it is free, but most of them is just a shit. it just wastes your precious time
that's why many people choose to spend their money and get back good amount (with risk ofc)

Buying in IEO is good, as long as you buy in Binance Launchpad. most of them is a successful project

I think it is more profitable when you buy token in the exchanges since you are already trading the token buying low and selling it at a high price I think you could easily can a profit in that method. Back in the day i also do this method of trading in poloniex.com and i earn a good amount of money with 20$ in a day I think as a not full-time trader this is already a great profit. Also, I think IEO is not the best option but great for long term investment.

I think so, it is going to take a lot of capital to start this tokens and list it in a exchanger most of the time this kind of project is just ending up to scam. Because the token didn't even reach the exchanger or not even listed in an exchange.

For now, I personally would prefer to buy a token / coin after being listed on the exchange rather than buying a token at ieo, because ieo activities are very speculative because there is no guarantee that their coins will be higher in price when they are listed in the exchange later.
