Litecoin is one of the most potential coins in 2018 in my opinion. Litecoin was the first cryptocurrency to perform a Lightning Network transaction in May 2017. Using the Lightning Network, 0.00000001 Litecoin was transferred from Zurich to San Francisco in under one second. Once Litecoin starts using the Lightning Network, it could increase the price of the Litecoin.
My HODLs at the moment are VTC, XRB, XMR. They are basically straight upgrades relative to Bitcoin. VTC is relatively stable, but will probably see some gains the next time ASICs become a hot button issue agai. XRB has already gotten me a ton of gains, and I project that to continue once it becomes big, and if you don't already know about Monero you need to lurk moar.
I suggest you invest in Litecoin, which is the 6th largest cryptocurrency with a market cap of around $9 billion. Litecoin continues to interest investors because of its close connection to Bitcoin, however, some argue that it is much better than Bitcoin. It completes a transaction 4 times faster than Bitcoin. However, unlike Bitcoin, the maximum number of Litecoin is capped at 84 million — 4 times more than the coin supply of Bitcoin (21 million).
Ripple could be a good option to consider as your a potential cryptocurrency to invest in 2018. XRP was one of the best performing cryptocurrencies in 2017 with growth of around 36,000%. It grew from almost $0 at the beginning of 2017 and reached $2.4 in December 2017. Even though the price of one XRP is a lot lower than the price of one Bitcoin, XRP is still the third largest cryptocurrency by market cap.
I recommend that you think about adding Ethereum to your list, as I think it could be one of the best cryptocurrency to invest in 2018. Ethereum grew by about 3000% in the year 2017 and became the second largest cryptocurrency, placing second behind Bitcoin. Unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum is not just a digital currency. It is a more advanced blockchain project. This is because Ethereum offers something special — by using Ethereum’s platform, developers can build their own cryptocurrencies.
If somehow, you’ve only heard of one cryptocurrency, it’s probably Bitcoin. It is the biggest cryptocurrency — it currently has a 40% share in the total cryptocurrency market cap. The coin that i want to continue to hold are Bitcoin and Ethereum because of there potential and there being successful coins running, also there growing value that possible make me rich immediately especially when im going to invest to both of them. Also i know this end of the year 2018 and upcoming years there value was possible going much higher, so im just keep believing and trusting to this two coin.

Well good for you to have that crypto in your portfolio and it seems all of your coins are good like btc and eth. Anyway i will be holding soon the coins from domuscoins or docs for short. I am doing their bounty campaign in facebook and i am entitled to receive 5 docs or 5 USD after having 5 weeks of campaign. The ICO became successful in the expense of cost cutting for the rewards for the project to success. If not for bounty rewards cost cutting then definitely the project will not work. Well good for me to receive 5 USD for 5 weeks. I will be having candies for it soon.
This year, for the time being, I keep all the coins that I earned in 6 months, because I think that this year they will grow up and I will be able to sell, if not grow, then I was not lucky
I recommend Ethereum Classic, which is a hard forked version of the original Ethereum and hugely supported by cryptocurrency purists by following the path of “blockchain is immutable”.
I think Ethereum is the best investment in 2018. This coin seems to be the grand-daddy of altcoins. Many coins are Ethereum tokens, meaning they are cryptocurrencies that exist within the Ethereum blockchain because that’s where they were created.
I am holding BTC, ETH for coins and VIB, LUN for tokens. Especially the last two imho have the chance to grow even more.
I'm holding CMT and NEO along with tokens.
Me i would hold litecoin , ethereum and Monero
In 2018 I will hold Ethereum and WCOIN. I think that WCOIN is a very perspective coin and it will definitely grow by the end of the year.
I am holding a few coins for this 2018, most the coins are the ones i received during the ICO, the coins i am holding right now include, credits, my top coin, havven, telcoin, carvertical, Mitx, eth and wan, they are my top holdings for the 2018, though I will still add more as time goes on.
This year I am holding Bitcoin, Ethereum, NEO, Litecoin and Cardano. From time to time I am buying new coins, but these five are permanent for me.
I have some few coin in my address but willing to hold Nodepower, EarthToken and Senerity till the end of the year.
