I will not tire of repeating that the best coin is still bitcoin. He is the king of the market and still has no competitors. I believe that it should be in everyone's portfolio.

Bitcoin is by far the best and I chose this option. The second in line for me would be ETH. Why is a shitcoin like Lisk on the list but you forgot about Cardano? It's by far a better one than most of the coins in the poll.

It has to be Stellar in my opinion. It is emerging and shown unique characteristics to even usurp ethereum. Stellar equally has a developers foundation and is committed to year in and year out development of the project

Surely - the best coin is Bitcoin. BTC always been number one and I am sure that no any coin can't remove it. But technically, a lot of another coins better than Bitcoin.
I don't think this poll is not perfect because you put the Bitcoin's name here to compare with other altcoins! This is not fair to me to compare Bitcoin with other currencies! After Bitcoin and Ethereum, I think EOS, ETC, LTC are the three best coins here!

In my own opinion, Bitcoin is the best as it is capable of rewarding investors well on the long term. Also, ETH and XLM are good coins worth investing owing to the efficiency of their platforms and team.

I also preffer bitcoin, i like the way how it works and one more reason is because is accepted on a lot of websites where i need to buy services. But if i can change choose one more coin, i will choose a coin that is instant confirmed when send and which don't need miners.
Depends on what you mean by best. Should we score them based keeping the ideals of cryptocurrency, uniqueness, based on features, speed, decentralization, price, values,etc. I think Bitcoin is the most unique of them all. It is also my favorite for adhering to cryptocurrency ideals.

Many will ask me why I chose bitcoin since we haven't seen anything new apart from the activation of segwit, well bitcoin is where it all started and it won't be good to ignore the father and go directly to the children when the father is the one in charge of the network and the technology itself, long live bitcoin.

The answer is pretty obvious because you included Bitcoin, the life of cryptocurrency pretty much depends on how Bitcoin perform in the market, if you check the market cap the gap is just too wide, the title of your poll should be what is the second best coin in the market, instead of the best coin.
I am not surprised by the results of the vote. This is a classic approach to investing. Another thing is that you can not ignore the promising new projects that appear on the market. Of course the risk is greater but the chances to earn a lot more. I recommend to read the project Sound Money Coin. This is a very new project, but very interesting from the point of view of the concept.
I have heard it and the coin have a tag line 'a store of value on ETH 'which mean this coin use ETH platform. With the movement price and the situation of new coin in the market at this time I don't think this coin will have a lot of demand by investors. They will see ETH at the platform and even they will choose ETH first for their investment. I'll put money on this coin but I won't put a lot of money to this coin.
Of course Bitcoin is in the first list of the best coins, because when the value of Bitcoin is lost then all coins become worthless. For the most important altcoins is xrp that's what I know because it's really there for the future because of the nice project and the size of the community so its price is hard and it's over-active by admin and sure legit the admin and dev and super it is also a quick response to the support of xrp for the sake of acceptance of this token in other countries and in the banks but in only one country but it is expected that the partnership will be much greater when the market fell far short of which affects the price of xrp because they have been a big buyer's support for the price not to collapse.
