from my view, CoinFi is promised coin the idea behind it is great , you can take a glance at it solution, and BAR is great to invest in , they have already opt to adopt masternode and have to much to deliver to the market
there are some coins that I like, besides ethereum is NEO, EOZ, LYM and Ripple. I think the coin has a good price potential and will continue to increase its price. I'm sure there's nothing to lose if you can buy one of those coins and then hold it until the price goes up. Sell the coin coins if the target price has been reached.
I like NEO, XRP, ADA, GTO, ELF, ...
Since I have watched them, I see the growth and recovery when BTC uptrend is very good

If I were to choose a coin that is just like ethereum, I will choose a utility token or coins that are used in their real use-case scenarios. Also, byteball also acts like ETH which can also be used for payments. Byteball is currently ranked 108 in the coin marketcap and you can see how people are using it. I like Litecoin! Litecoin is a very good and very strong cryptocurrency. This coin has small fee per transaction. Such high price may sufficient increase it. I believe it is one of the most undervalued coins and it has potential to be next Ethereum in few years!
Apart from Ethereum some of my best coin is NEO, icx, and Qtum this coins gat potential in coming years, hopefully NEO is gonna do another Ethereum run this year, Qtum is also expecting to hit $1k in coming years

I would suggest to invest and do trade in bitcoin. Bitcoin is now a well known coin worldwide. Whenever they heard the word cryptocurrency, the first thing that comes to their mind was bitcoin. It is like a word of mouth in marketing. It would be best if you search first through white paper and through sites then switch or invest in bitcoin as well.
I like Aura coin. because project team with good advisory team is one of the key factor which decide the target achievement as well as quality of the project. Asura project is fully corporate with good project and advisory team. So I think Asura coin will become one of the most valuable and stable coin within the community in future.
I will suggest some coins that I like besides ETH, however, it does not mean it is a great coin now. They are NEO and WAVES. Because their price is still low and have potential to grow, I just need to wait for the price to rise again so I can earn. Moreoever, I also believe that these coins can give tough fight to ETH in the future.
The coins I like after ethereum are litecoin. As I know, litecoin has many advantages and expertise. Technology owned by litecoin is also no less sophisticated, litecoin including coins are always developed, both from the concept, technology and from the price. I'm pretty sure for litecoin could have a great price in the future.

I like ripple, wave, prl, and litecoin. For me their performance always speak their great potentials that holds their future.
Besides ethereum my favourite coins are Monero , Neo , IoTa and aIoN . This projects can revolutionize our life , each coin in its unique way . They are already receiving a strong support from community and if projects will follow their plans they can be in top 5 market cap.
For now my favorites is EOS (mainnet lunch in June). Also I like how Zippie (ZIPT) works with community and develop the first mobile blockchain OS. Really great project.
My personal favourite altcoins are monero, neo, iota and bat. I believe most other coins are just pumped useless ones. (dogecoin wtf) I believe anon coins will worth so much than others in future.
Mostly I choose Anonymous coin, but now coin like ripple or Litecoin is still good enough to Hold. Just beware of some Scam ICO right now. Don't follow coin that looks suspicious

Why do you think it cost too much? you don't have to buy a whole ethereum if you want to invest as you can buy it according to your money. If you want to buy something that is similar to ethereum then you should look into neo, cardano, waves, nem or eos. The first two is really similar to ethereum but cardano platform is not out yet so you have to wait longer, that also mean the potential is still bigger compared to now though. my advice you choose coin Ethereum because the price is still reachable by the crowd and also the price is more stable than the other coin
