The last jump in the BCH price made me very happy. Though something so has soared. I was lucky and I was able to buy it before the jump. 
Among altcoins, I chose to buy these coins as Ripple, NEO, OMG, ADA, EOS, Waves and Monero. These are good coins and in the long term they will become much more popular than now, and therefore the price for them will grow.

There are three which I really am fond of: Cardano, Paragon and Lisk. Out of these ParagonCoin is really going great and its project Paragon space has been successful.
Actually, I most like Stellar. the fees 100K cheaper than ethereum. I don't like ETH lately coz the clogging in its own the blockchain. So stressful if we need a hurry in time.
to be honest there are many Altcoins that I like besides ETH, but if I am told to choose which altcoin is the best. I chose EOS and Ripple because these two altcoins have advantages that everyone needs right now. and don't forget bitcoin I like BTC because it is crypto that always gives profit every year. from the first time I bought bitcoin until now. I always get a profit even though it's not uncommon for me to wait months.
You never miss bitcoin, bitcoin is a very potential main coin, although there are some other good alternative coins like neo, cardano, eos and others. there must be a good reason why they are all at the highest coinmarketcap place.
I think of the many altcoins that are circulating now, I like Eos and Neo besides ethereum because the coin is stable in the market and has a strong community.

Besides Ethereum, Credits its my 2nd favorite's coins in crypto, Credits its the fastest blockchain technology when it comes in transaction speed, and they had a lot of big partnership such as lenova and etc . 
Well, I like all underestimated tokens. Currently just each token is underestimated. i've checked out statistics of recent ICOs,not all ,but trusted ones.

I really like BNB coin (but unfortunately don't have it in my portfolio 
) because it's reliable and really stable, BNB is growing despite the strongest correction on the market. I would also buy some EOS - this platform is growing very fast and has a strong development team and support from BitFinex.
I like Neo, stellar, ada. eos and other coins with own blockchain , those ones are potential competitors of ethereum and can grow to the same market capitalisation as ethereum!

Besides Ethereum i like Ripple because it have a big potential. The platform of Ripple is a bank and that is a good platform and attractive platform. That's why i like Ripple.

ethereum is my favorite while the other coin I like the coin's engine because the coin's engine is traded on a lot of exchange, and also in terms of the community for now ethereum is very large. people believe in eth 
the coin that I like other than ethereum is EOS. Altcoin is almost like Ethereum, it is also a platform smartcontrac but chooses more advantages. second Dash, because he's the first coin I bought when I first got to know crypto. third BNB (binance token) because in the past few months I always trade in the Binance market. fourth STEEM, because I have a blog on steemit.com and almost every month I get STEEM coins from there. last maybe bitcoin, the reason is because bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency and all altcoins are affected by it.
NEO, Ripple, and ADA. the altcoin has a large volume and a clear concept. I think it's suitable for long-term investment.

I suppose there ar several altcoin to you prefer besides ETH perhaps modern, Titanium, Waves .. the altcoin i feel it's terribly developed and can be of high price. in person i might purchase modern as a result of it's terribly stable on the crypto market as a result of I actually have created a profit since high costs and that i suppose this is often altcoin for long run investment.
EOS, IOTA, Litecoin, NEO, RIPPLE, WAVES and so on coins are in market which are worth to invest.
