Well, I'm not really sure if he is going to be earning a lot of money through the users on Twitter but I guess if this continues and people start disliking his decisions more regarding Twitter and its rules and stuff, there might be another alternative platform developed by someone in the tech world so that people can migrate from Twitter to that platform to avoid all these rules and regulations which are stopping people from accessing all the features and using the platform the way they could before.

The decision of removing all the blue ticks and offering blue ticks to everyone for a price has already made everyone pretty angry since it wasn't a good decision at all, now almost any person can have a blue tick on their profile which has made the blue tick useless which used to be a symbol of recognition before.

As far as I know, his prestige has faded since he was rumored sold his bitcoin, he lost faith by the community, and because of that, he try to increase his name again by creating controversy or news that make his name appear again on the community. He tries to create strife with Mark so his name is back again on top. But still no progress because the people have already grown up and not easily affected again by his words.

Yes, no one hears his words again. because people already know, entrepreneurs have many ways to get a lot of profits.

I imagine Elon had plans to buy some other things but that Twitter purchase was quite pricey, and I'm not sure that he really even wanted to purchase Twitter in the first place ( he obviously tried to get out of the contracts ). Someone brought up in another channel that he's currently in the process of purchasing a money transmitting license. So it sounds like he's going to try and create some sort of Cash App type deal and potentially integrate it with Twitter.

Other than this, I'm not sure what else he might get his hands in to. He might become like Bezos and buy all sorts of things than have nothing to do with one another. I don't understand how this guy runs his businesses though when he's trolling all day on twitter.

Without Elon giving any hint it is impossible to understand what is his plan of acquiring. It looks like he won't be focusing much on acquiring. The launch of threads is a big competence for Elon Musk and he'll be focusing on making Twitter stronger than the past. With big shout Meta have come up with a new product that is to give freedom of speech.

Seeing the direction Facebook and Messenger went, I doubt there'll be a lot of freedom of speech on the said platform. If anything, it could be another platform wherein Meta will just collect information from its users and use that data somewhere else. The said company is just farming people's information at this point, and pushing them ads to get more revenue. Threads is, IMO, the current hype that everyone will try for the first few weeks, but people will still crawl back to twitter given how much they know the platform and how 'transparent' its owner is currently.

Everyone is actually right by not knowing or having a clue as to what Elon might buy next.
One of the reasons why I brought this topic up is because as he is studying Twitter and making adjustments with policies, and with his other projects and companies, he looks more interested in futuristic ideas like Web3, DEX, Electric cars, Space exploration, crypto currency, even the virtual reality/Metaverse.

I would not be surprised if he makes another purchase that might be classified as whale signal and thus influence the crypto market, mostly as BTC is expected to be halved next year. He is exposed to top information and has lots of wealthy friends with investments in cryptocurrency and the future prospects in general.

What kind of purchase? Cryptocurrency? I don't think he'd give us a hint nor anyone here knows which shitcoin will he pump next. The only place where people can get a closer answer to this is in twitter. If a non crypto related purchases, I guess he'll be focusing more on something futuristic like AI's, space expedition, and flying cars.

Elon would buy whatever Elon wants. It could be the moon, the Atlantic Ocean, or the Titanic lying at the bottom of ocean. No one knows and no one really cares. Everyone is trying to eke out a living for themselves and we care less about his next purchase we it adds no single dollar or bitcoin to our wallet. One thing that I know is that whatever he decided to buy next, he already has the full backing of the government and would benefit from them through tax cuts and all.

That would be wise move for him. He already spent way more than he should on Twitter so I don't think he'd buy the next big thing. Instead he would create it. Obviously there's a new app needed since Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all other social media services are out of fashion. He may fulfill that need.

Tesla is such a powerhouse for him that everything else is just his toys. He doesn't want to be the CEO of twitter. It's like a playground that he liked to have fun with, so he bought it.
He's probably going to keep expanding Tesla to get the EV market on every continent. The deal is to make cheaper and more reliable cars and you can see the trend here where new Teslas are becoming cheaper and cheaper. I still think they're too expensive for what they offer, but that's me.

Elon Musk is very rich and pretty chaotic. He can make 3 corrections to his one Twitter-related decision; his company can invest and them sell their BTC; he can create a poll on whether Tesla should accept Dogecoin, get an affirmative answer from the majority and simply ignore it if that's his mood that day.
Also, as was pointed out in this thread, he certainly makes mistakes, but he's just rich enough to cover them. I wouldn't waste time trying to understand what's going on in his head and investing in whatever's the next thing he endorses. He can be wrong or change his mind very fast, and he'll be fine, even if it costs him hundreds of millions of dollars. And those who don't have tons of money will actually suffer.
