He could be facing his own spotlight, or he could end up in depression since bitcoin haters might personally attack him. But either way, maybe for me it’s best that his identity remain uncertain because that will protect him and his family from people’s pressures. And even if he show up when bitcoin is already popular, that won’t create changes anymore, bitcoin is already established and it’s popularity is now inevitable.

If Satoshi's identity was found from the very beginning (or at least he made himself public), Bitcoin wouldn't had been able to sustain itself for long. Governments would prosecute Satoshi for creating an alternative monetary system that patronizes money laundering, tax evasion, among other sorts of things. He would be considered an "enemy of the state" , possibly leading towards his execution in the long run. BTC would've been declared illegal from the start, stifling away its opportunity to grow into a massive force as it is right now. We wouldn't had the innovations we have today (Web 3.0, NFTs, ZK-Proofs, etc), if BTC (and its founder) was stopped in its early days.

I think Satoshi knew the consequences of launching a digital currency beforehand, so he decided to remain anonymous until today. He did it to protect BTC from evil governments and central banks alike. If only other projects' founders copied Satoshi, they would've been completely censorship-resistant to this date. Coins like Ethereum, Cardano, and even Polkadot have publicly-known founders, so I wouldn't be surprised if sometime in the future, they get scrutinized by mainstream governments. Who knows if BTC ends up being "the only kid in town"? Just my opinion

From my previous opinion, I hope that we don't have negative thoughts about Satoshi, because after all, it's for his own good and for the sake of the crypto industry that we are or can use until now.

Because in fact we also don't know what his real purpose is. If it's for his own safety and for the continuation of the crypto industry, that's clear for sure.
But there are still other goals that we don't know about Satoshi himself.
If only for wealth it is also impossible because he owns and still keeps his own Bitcoin in his personal wallet even during the bull market last year to make Bitcoin create the highest Ath Satoshi did not sell the Bitcoin he owned at all.

For a healthy development the governments should try to make use of his ability, but the governments won't be doing it. They'll keep their focus over satoshi and point him for anything that is happening through the market. What he have done is the best part of his innovation, hiding his identity. If not, maybe the network might've got collapsed. Governments never thought of such level of growth from bitcoin, which is also a reason why they never looked for Satoshi at the beginning days.

However if he reappeared he will become a target for governments to attack and it is likely they will try to blame him for the crimes some people commit by using bitcoin, it seems to me Satoshi was aware of this possibility and it is the reason he hid his identity from the world, a smart move if you ask me as I would not put it above politicians to try to incarcerate Satoshi to send a message to all of those people that may like to change the status quo and intimidate them that way.

This seems brutal but it's possible since his invention is something that can affect other businesses. Maybe this is the reason why he prefer to be anonymous even until now where there are now lots of cryptos but the focus of those haters/killers can be locked only at him since he started it all. I remember there are people who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

These people must be brave and they didn't know what can possibly happen to them. Good thing they are still alive but that's because the haters/killers know that they are also fake as the world isn't totally convinced if they are really Satoshi. Until now there are still people who are hoping that Satoshi will appear one day. I think these people aren't thinking about the consequences that could happen with the guy or to his invention.

Yes, otherwise bitcoin might not be the success it has become along the years, because investors would see the digital currency as a mean Satoshi used to gain popularity, notoriety and become a global celebrity for personal financial and status purposes, similar to what Craig Wright attempted to do when revealed to be the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto.

I think Satoshi knew that he being known would be detrimental to bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrencies' ecosystem, so he remained anonymous. He made sure his acts would sound louder than the weight of the person behind them. And this strategy worked nicely.

a man who had the foresight to create bitcoin, I'm sure he must have calculated what would happen to him if his plan succeeded. the truth is that he would be under tremendous pressure from all sides, the state, the mafia, some organizations... it would make him very uncomfortable and I don't think a man like satoshi would ever want such a life, but I don't think he would be killed because the people who were stronger than him would already get what they wanted from him anyway. who would benefit from a dead satoshi?

This could be indeed the case, possibly Satoshi fully understood the impact of his tech before even implementing it into code and thus was super-cautious from the start on regarding privacy. Maybe even realizing the value one Bitcoin could reach within a few years and decades.
OR he always was this "paranoid"* figure, protecting his identity from early on, possibly many many years before the development of Bitcoin. I find this as plausible as the other suggestion, since I am not sure you could fully grasp the impact an invention (such as the Bitcoin protocol) could truely have in the future - even if you are a highly intelligent individual such as SN.

I agree with you, and this different way would have been such that the global law enforcers would not allow seeing the light of the say. It's so good that he/she maintains anonymity, it would have possibly been a project that would raise too much criticism even before people knows the benefits. And the world government might not let it see the light of day by forcing him to undo what he had done.

I don't believe you, there is no correlation between decentralization and not revealing himself/herself, Bitcoin could still depend on him as anonymous as he/she is if want to. The purpose of his/her creating Bitcoin in the first place is for privacy and anonymity, and revealing himself/herself would have nothing challenging that purpose. It can only put him/her in danger of the world government and law enforcers in my opinion.

For one, critics of bitcoin would have a face to antagonize and berate against, interpol as well as other countries that banned the usage and proliferation of bitcoin in their respective countries will have a person to blame, and even us people who support bitcoin may find ourselves hating on him/her when things go south. They would also be followed 24/7 by secret organizations powered by governments and will be under surveillance for the rest of their lives. I don't think them outing themselves would do any good for bitcoin, and would instead just put them in the hotseat, so opting to keep their identity is a smart move on Satoshi's part.

I think he may be a mechanical engineer of DNA sequencing (DNA coding),
and Bitcoin is just one part of a larger plan on a global scale.
Of course, a plan that would be implemented by an organization larger than national government etc.
