In my opinion if someone comes into cryptocurrency looking to have it as an investment asset, my advice is always to stick to bitcoin because it is the only coin I considered worthy of been called an investment, the Altcoins are more like a gamble to me.

Now if one still wants to invest in this Altcoins then I will say they should do their own research and find that Altcoin that goes in line with your utility purposes and then invest in it. There are some Altcoins know for fast transactions, some for other utilities like gaming or even AI so it is down to the person to do there own research

Certainly, your perspective on Bitcoin as a solid investment choice aligns with the views of many investors including myself, who see Bitcoin as a relatively safe and stable investment option compared to altcoins. Ethereum and Solana are also emerge as favorable choices, particularly who prioritize long term strategies over speculative ventures into volatile altcoins.

Ethereum and Solana both offer robust infrastructure and diverse functionalities for investors seeking sustainable growth.

You know what's actually advised? For people to actually read and learn about this industry so they can find their own investments and make their own decisions instead of asking random strangers online.

Like the question in the thread entails, if you've some introduced to the crypto industry.
I don't believe you'd just ask the people to read up and make decisions for themselves on what crypto coin they should invest on. Isn't it expected to atleast let the interested person to be cleared personally with you own knowledge and bases on your experiences that this is how this Crypto coins potentials could be and this is how possible the other could be. Probably you make a recommendation based on the crypto coins advantage and then you can let the person decide on what Coin to embrace despite you've recommended one to him?

At first no be body should be advice to invest on what he or she knows nothing about, every beginners should be given that opportunity of getting use to the crypto environment by having some basic knowledge, yes of a truth Bitcoin has made the overall prove of it's potential which should a wise choice but investing in other coins should come with more carefulness introducing to someone that is new in the space, let their be a thorough risk and tolerance assessment be made because things may not work out as planned and who is going to be blamed.

If you've someone being introduced to the crypto world of investment, would you advice then to have their first experience with the AltCoins even as most of the AltCoins volatility potentials are so weak to rely on? If yes, what AltCoin would be best recommended for a beginner in a start up stage like that and if no, what other cryptocurrencies is advised?
The cryptocurrency I recommend depends on the person's risk tolerance. For those with a high tolerance for risk, I might suggest a new altcoin project not yet on the market. However, for those with low or moderate risk tolerance, investing in established crypto like Bitcoin or top 10 altcoins (e.g., Ethereum) is a better option.

Personally, I believe starting with an altcoin can be beneficial. It exposes them to the high-risk and volatile nature of the cryptocurrency market firsthand. This reality check helps them understand it's not a get-rich-quick scheme.

Right now I am introducing the world of crypto to my colleagues. and I prefer to invest in BTC and ETH only. However, if they want or even just ask about other coins, of course I will answer them both in terms of positive and negative. So for investment matters, it's up to what he says, we can only provide true information.

i gave my sister ETH when she showed interest in crypto. it wasn't a good start since that was the time of bull run which was the ATH.  she experienced the bear market right where she began to learn crypto market.

i think one should also wait for the bear market before recommending a beginner to start investing. it would be a pleasant experience for a beginner to see his profit at the first stage in his crypto journey. this will be a boost to his sense as to what will happen after a bull run and a bear market.

Oh interesting having to know about your sisters crypto journey of having ETH for a start, I understand the unfortunate emotions of having uninteresting experiences from a  beginners starting point but I hope after the bear market against the bull-run she could she could buy and accumulate more to be able to cope and secure some productive remarks from the Crypto industry once again after her saddened experienced!

So then are you saying that that the ETH amidst the AltCoins is not one of the suitable coins Such as bitcoin that doesn't have a particular purchasing times which such demands patient and keep holding while the markets volatilities surges a higher volume to bring income? If yes then it's not a good one for a beginners start up especially when the beginner wants to hold for a long term or is it systematically compulsory that the Coin type would change the investors aim of term goals?
Please, I really want to understand this AltCoin or the recommended ETH too well in this Crypto industry.

Apart from Bitcoin the I will suggest to invest in Ethereum and BNB. These two coins have potential for growth in the crypto space. Like Ethereum as the second crypto coin has other factors and features that will keep getting investors to be attracted to it and moreover, it has so many altcoins under its Blockchain and so this will keep increasing it relevance in the market. As for BNB, it has its own chain too with altcoins under it and its management team are serious to keep running with the coin. Binance exchange is quite a popular one in the market and a back up for BNB .

Bitcoin and the top 10 altcoins in the market. After that I'll just let them be and if they ask for more advice, then I'd tell them to read up. Study the market, checkout what's trending to the investors, and about what news and announcements there are concerning crypto adoption and whatnot. They're their own person, and I'm my own after all. If they were all about trying to profit without thinking, I'd tell them to just check copytrading or something similar.

If they wanted to make like 100x gains though then I'd tell them to dyor since altcoins that can give you that much are usually new in the market, and well, most of said new coins are most often than not rugpull scams or just bad tokens in general.

I don't like to advise newbies to start their investment with altcoins, but if the individual has actually learned about a project by himself and is only asking to confirm if he or she should invest in the token or not, my advice would be for them to only invest the amount they can afford to lose. Some newbies take their time to learn about a project and feel convinced to invest in it, but they will just want to seek the opinion of other experienced users. In such cases, I still leave it to their decision.

Some altcoins can turn out to be profitable investments, but imagine when the newbie doesn't get lucky enough to invest in the gem coin that can yield a tangible profit for them. then the person who advised the newbie to buy the coin will receive the blame. Also, it's usually very painful for a newbie to lose their first investment in crypto currency.

That's the reason why I don't advise newbies to invest in altcoins first.

The safest altcoin investment strategy would be to invest on top 20 altcoins by marketcap. All of them are good and capable coins and covers both utility and meme. There are better options which can yield much more but they'll need much research and strategy. Anyone who had invested $100 each on top 20 alts before 6 months would have their money quadrupled by now and anyone investing now could get their quadrupled by next 6 months as the ultimate bull is yet to come.

ETH and BNB are certainly the right Altcoins for beginners to invest in, these coins are able to minimize the risk of loss for beginners because sometimes when these two coins experience a correction it usually only lasts temporarily and then returns to its base price in a short time so it doesn't disappoint beginners , in contrast to many other altcoins which do not have fundamentals, if the price experiences a significant decline then usually the altcoin is no longer popular among investors so that it slowly no longer has value in the market unlike Ethereum and BNB coins.

Op before I introduce someone to invest in the cryptocurrency world then I will recommend to him on the project when I have enough knowledge about and not the one *they said". The one you have use will be reliable because you can direct him what to do and how to keep his coins. But if your recommend him to the one you have not used and you made the recommendation because people told you to do so. Your friend might be frustrated because most of the things he might want you to help him out, might not be done because you too is not familiar with the coins.

Yes I will ask him to invest an altcoins but to a very familiar one.

The best crypto investment that any beginner should buy is none other than Bitcoin, it's the most reputable cryptocurrency and you don't need to carry out any research on whether it's a scam project, it's decentralized and is the best digital asset that will keep increasing in value. Investing in altcoins requires experience and if an investor is not knowledgeable they can fall into the trap of buying a scam project, so a newbie that wants to invest in altcoins without experience is simply gambling their fund. So they need to first Lean how to carry out research before investing, but it's not applicable to top altcoins like Ethereum, Solana and BNB, they're reputable altcoins that are safe to invest in.

Yeah, I would advise him or her to go for altcoins, why not? If that someone is only beginning to get into crypto and still does not
want to invest a huge amount of money… I can advise him or her to go for
altcoins. First of all I would teach him or her the fundamentals. Buy low, sell high that
kind of thing. I believe experience is the best teacher. Let them see just how money
can increase when you invest them in the right coin. Of course timing is valuable.
I just need to show the basics and let them learn on their own.

If you are a beginner then the first thing that you should do is understand why Bitcoin was created and why altcoins exist. Then it would be best if you thought about investment as it is your money and you cannot hold anyone responsible for a wrong recommendation. Always ensure that you research an altcoin first and then ask the public to check whether your research was good. Do not ask or follow blindly any recommendations of others as an investment in cryptocurrencies is risky and can affect your finances.

No. I would definitely tell a beginner to go for bitcoin. I believe it is only right as it is the top currency anyway. It requires less expertise and the concept and the pattern are easy to understand. There’s also a higher chance of profit. While altcoins are too congested and there are too many of them to know which one should you invest in to. I don’t think someone can instantly understand or identify the right altcoins to invest in right off the bat.

First of all I would never advise beginner to go with altcoin investment rather I would suggest them to go with Bitcoin investment because we are all aware altcoins are highly volatile and if the new person and the during bearish market they would never be able to recover the investment in Altcoin but Bitcoin has ability to pump up.

Moreover only with Bitcoin they will be able to learn more about crypto because of they are introduced to Altcoins they would think it's just a pump and dump game. If it's mandatory to suggest only Altcoins then I would suggest Ethereum which is the second most trusted crypto currency IMO.

Before advise they should gain their own knowledge to understand how those altcoin works naturally I can't just tell someone to buy coin Y or coin Z without them knowing how those coin work independently and the kinds of wallet address they should use for those coin, even though we have many common chain out there but they should know very well to enable them guide their investment from missing because sometimes they might send them to the wrong chain making their investment to vanished. Btw I can't give someone advice to go buy altcoin while bitcoin is there to invest, what is the reason to invest in altcoin after knowing they are too volatile.

All the people I've invited to invest in Cryptocurrency only invest in Bitcoin, since for me Bitcoin is the main Cryptocurrency they should first understand what Bitcoin is, all of its features, why it is invested, and who invented it.
I never recommend any altcoin I'd like them to pick the right altcoin for them to invest in so they will be responsible for their losses and gains, so far all the people I've invited are doing great in their investment venture here in Cryptocurrency.
