I disagree, men and women have different characters, most women fear loss and would rather spend their money on spending rather than investing, let history speak, since long time ago, most stock and forex players have always been men, history of famous forex and stock players in male domination.

Most of womens are spenders but some of them, there are still many women that better than men in terms of trading or investings. It's rare to find a woman like that because basically women love shopping and always being a consumtive person. But i think nothing wrong with that, that's a nature of a woman and the men are responsible to handle those

Does gender even matters in bitcoin? Let's say that right now that mostly men are investing in bitcoin but I can see that if more women discovered bitcoin, they will be more good at investing and handling their btc than men. Women can also be interested in bitcoin, we just need more adoption so they can be aware of bitcoin.
women have a higher sensitivity about asset management, but they still tend to be very careful, in contrast to men where they would rather try something risky at the same time.

women are more pleased with real education, many female participants are seen every time I attend various local bitcoin-blockchain seminars. That may not be visible in statistics, but in fact they are actively adopting crypto.

it is not only material is what they need instead they also need assistance personally ,because investing here with total risk needed anther people to explain to them seriously and giving them confident before believing the legitimacy of cryptocurrency.
but nice share as this will open their mind to make some looks about this market and sooner may encourage them to try.

Ehh. Let's just remember that every person has their own knowledge and experiences that can affect their own investment decisions, regardless of sex/gender. Tongue

It’s true, they need a lot more understanding to how it work, this is very bad, all the women I know get into it just for the money, they would choose a wallet that’s very easy to access, with just 4 keys password and and android apps, I’m not sure what they read all over the internet about bitcoin but their action noticingly frighten me, their concern for Cryptocurrency security is nearly as low as non existent, can you even believe that? That’s why I suggest bitcoin need to be as easy as internet banking, women need a lot of help from the banker to manage their money, they can’t perfectly independent with using bitcoin, they would always need a lot of help from sending, buying, selling and receiving it, there is no easy way for them except A LOT more help, and every single day they need that help, a life time help and more knowledges.

"93 percent of the women surveyed said they’d be more open to investing if they had more educational resources available to them"

I think there's ample of material concerning cryptocurrencies out there though, it's just that the good content isn't just compiled into one website. They simply just need to know where to look. I think this is just the case that men are probably(?) more willing to invest on risky things than women. Just as how men are more likely to do risky things/activities in general.

Google is available for women as well, I don't think search engines are coded to be macho lol. Seriously they have the same resources as men. There is no difference between both we have the same brain. Perhaps they have less time compared to men. I'm all for gender equality, but it's not something natural in some cultures.

20 years ago anything tech was considered to be something for women, most of the jobs were done by women, now it's the total opposite and machos think the tech industry is not for women.

I think women are only interested in something that they are currently experiencing, feeling, whatsoever going through the at the moment. They use google just to know what might be the reason why it is happening or what is the best way to handle those things. They won't ever bother to learn a single thing about new tech like crypto. Maybe they are good of spreading the news, we are seeing most of the crypto investors are men, only have few girls in the field.

Ehh my guess that if the "report" was actually legit, the women that were asked in this case were simply just uninterested(besides the risks of investing in a highly volatile asset). They're uninterested with probably the same reason why more men are more interested in tech rather than women(based on employment in tech industries).

Check out a more recent report by OECD (whom I would actually trust a lot more than Grayscale to be honest. Not that I automatically hate all these crypto research firms but they're basically reinforcing what they want to know. OECD looks at much more useful/relevant indicators.

Anyway, so apparently in the 3 major fintech economies in Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines), the women are no longer a small minority. In Vietnam even there are more women crypto holders than men, if we're to believe the 1k ppl surveyed in each. They're behind in Malaysia, but not by much at all.

i totally agree to this, even though i don't have any statistical data to support my believe but i have the feeling that women are very much active in the crypto space and are also investing for future support, i think the awareness is spreading and more women are showing interest, this number will keep increasing because women have more patient than men Grin

I think in the generation that we are in it we already have the enough educational materials that we need because we have google that we can easily search everything that we want to know about bitcoin and blockchain technology. Also, i think the reason why women needs more educational materials because they are not risk takers like men that they can handle the risk before and after buying bitcoin.

Bitcoin was invented for every single person living on this globe regardless of its gender and nationality. There is lots of material available on google, youtube, bitcointalk.org and other sites regarding bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. If something is willing to join she don't have to give such excuses.

This is not only applicable for women, other guys as well don't want to invest on cryptocurrency because they don't have enough knowledge and education about it. And maybe it's because women are more afraid of taking risk with money knowing that they are more practical with things (this is what I believe). Mostly men are more attracted with bigger profit that's why they're more willing to invest in crypto because of the return.

That'd be great.  Bitcoin tends to have far to many male traders and investors.  It would be beneficial to world as a whole if there were more knowledgeable women in this field.  It's too bad there's not enough educational materials.  There's been a lot of drama the past year so even if you are an expert, any advice that has been given hasn't helped as much as it should.

actually there are enough sites that provide education and also learning about crypto, but in terms of education quite rarely people are interested in crypto because it is not very popular and also material about crypto is not enough to discuss significantly

I don't think that women should find educational materials before they invest in bitcoin because they could learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency easily by just searching in google and other search engines sites to help them. We all know that bitcoin is very complixated and confusing to understand, they could also learn by just reading comments and opinions here in this forum because there are a lot of helpful information that they could learn about it.
I think it depends on the person itself because if they have determination to learn and to be a successful investor then they will look for some ways to enlighten themselves so that they can make the right decision. Investing involves taking risk that is why you need to have a enough understanding so you can face any problems and handle things very well since there is no assurance that the outcomes of our decision will always be positive. Like for example here in the forum, people gives and share their own knowledge to give us a better understanding for a lot of other things, you should just open yourself for new learning because it's already there and you just need to acquire it.

I don't really think that there's a difference between a man and a woman in the term of investing in Bitcoin, both of them have the same brain and they just can read a lot about Bitcoin and crypto currencies in general. I just think that man are more favorable to risk than woman while we know that the crypto market isn't stable so, but investing is always got some risk in whatever Field.

I don't really think that the issue here is the thinking capacity of womens and mens, the issue here is how cryptocurrency is widely accessible and relevant to the things men and women do. In some cases, men are more exposed to investment platforms and firms but in comparison to women, they are more focus on their job and not much on taking risk, so no matter how smart or good they are at thinking capacity, what matters is their environment where they  mostly spend their time.

I think educational materials are not really necessary. As long as we have our internet connection and a smart phone, you can do reasearch on the web. Investing in bitcoi  is not really that complicated. You just follow the instruction on the platform you've chosen. Internet and pc.or smart phone are maybe considered educational materials for others. But mostly these are really the basic tools to invest or earn bitcoin.

Most women i know will prefer spending their last dime on what they can see physically, feel of them don't even bother having good savings or leverage kinda things, but everybody needs bitcoin isn't it? I'm glad bitcoin is for everyone, men are always far into these kinda things than women, men have the guts and only very few women thinks same way
