actually everyone needs it and not just women, if the educational material about bitcoin or crypto has spread then people will be more structured in using crypto. because when we come to new people we will continue to be confused to find crypto information, but if there is education about crypto then I think new people will be more structured in understanding the concepts

I don't really think that there's a difference between a man and a woman in the term of investing in Bitcoin, both of them have the same brain and they just can read a lot about Bitcoin and crypto currencies in general. I just think that man are more favorable to risk than woman while we know that the crypto market isn't stable so, but investing is always got some risk in whatever Field.

I don't think that we need to discuss this so much. In the census [1] with regards to population, there are a lot more women compared to men so in general, they would be the dominant sex to be possibly investing in an asset like Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. What I think what the article should be telling is that there should be more interest given by women in order to satisfy that claim (In which there would be more women compared to men when investing)

We clearly need more Bitcoin related info with pictures of kittens and shoes on it. That'll draw the lovely laydeez in.

Aside from that crypto has a content problem from the bottom to the top. Most of it is shit put together by morons either for empty clicks or to steal your money. It's probably only going to get worse as more arrive.

Even men if you're a responsible investor then you will consider to seek for more information before you put money, that's not new in this generation where scammers are just beside us. So by this study, it looks like women are a responsible investors and they don't want to put money on the things they don't know. As an investor of any gender, you must invest on the things you understand and use every materials to strengthen your analysis, that's the best way for you not to become the victim of scammers.

There is trouble abrewing
that sounds more like sexism to me!
anybody would want to educate themselves before they invest in anything. they do research first and measure the risks and rewards. the only difference is how much time they put into this important step and their gender isn't much of a factor here.
not to mention that this article is yet another "survey" that is failing in its group selection step so its result is extremely biased.

I've heard about different degree of retention to different teaching approach in male and female. But when it comes to finding educational materials and learning, that should not differ among the sexes as they could do that in their own way.
The lesser number of women investing in crypto could rather mean the difference in spending and saving habits of the male and female, the power to make financial decisions and the need to justify their expenditure. Male tends to be more risk takers than female in general.

I disagree, men and women have different characters, most women fear loss and would rather spend their money on spending rather than investing, let history speak, since long time ago, most stock and forex players have always been men, history of famous forex and stock players in male domination.

Not all women have the same kind of perspective or thinking when it comes to cryptocurrency. It still depends on what are the things they practiced in bitcoin.

Yes, some of the women spend their money to something that isn't reliable for everyday use, but they are the one who also manage the funds in houses when their husbands gave them budget. They use it wisely, some of the women know how to prioritize things using money.

Maybe the women wants is more educational materials because when it comes to internet and cryptocurrency, mostly men are the only one who have the interest about it because when it comes to technologies men are the one who dominates about it so that they are the one who got the interest about cryptocurrency and different fields of the internet. Women are afraid on the investments that are happening in the cryptocurrency so that they don't want to invest here because they are lack of knowledge about that crypto is due to not enough resources like materials on how to research about crypto and lack of interest and time to research about this so called crypto. That would be the andwers on your what about women.

It's not any surprising issue for me, It's very true that without any proper knowledge about this cryptocurrency system, not only female but also any male should not invest in this platform at all, You have to gather a proper information about this thing and then you may take a decision following your reading experience, so crypto-based education is very essential to the people who are interested in this system for trading and investment. Females are real potential for any platform for further expansion, so without their contribution, it's difficult to make this cryptocurrency world more sustainable.

"93 percent of the women surveyed said they’d be more open to investing if they had more educational resources available to them"

I think there's ample of material concerning cryptocurrencies out there though, it's just that the good content isn't just compiled into one website. They simply just need to know where to look. I think this is just the case that men are probably(?) more willing to invest on risky things than women. Just as how men are more likely to do risky things/activities in general.

I could not fully comprehend what kind of educational material that these women surveyed are referring to when one can easily search Google and YouTube for an avalanche of details on things related to Bitcoin. Are they perhaps referring to a formal courses like what some schools are offering or maybe thinking of getting spoon-feed information? Well, anyway, the takeaway here is that there is a high interest expressed by women and maybe they are just reluctant seeing that Bitcoin can really be so volatile and we know that many women are longing for some form of stability in everything they do and think. We actually need more women on this industry to balance things off with the influence of men, and this can partly change the dynamics and the landscape of cryptocurrency.

What more do they need? It's as if we live in 2000 to not have mainstream internet which you can get knowledge from, just few clicks away.

I think what the surveyed women thinks when being interviewed is to answer the positive way, because of whatever their reason is, without actually having the intent to do so.

If they really do want to invest in Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, then they should even have started to search what it is. If they even don't know it's core ideology, but rather only the terminology (in which they just heard from the 2017 hype), with current available online resources, then it could be concluded that they are either reluctant to learn it, or just doesn't care what it is at all.

I think the same information about bitcoin goes to men and women. The thing here is who is really interested in it? Is like car mechanics, why most of them are a man?  Do you think a woman can't take that job? she can, but they give a fuck about that and leave that job for men. And something like that happens with Bitcoin.

Google is available for women as well, I don't think search engines are coded to be macho lol. Seriously they have the same resources as men. There is no difference between both we have the same brain. Perhaps they have less time compared to men. I'm all for gender equality, but it's not something natural in some cultures.

20 years ago anything tech was considered to be something for women, most of the jobs were done by women, now it's the total opposite and machos think the tech industry is not for women.
