I am just holding it at a moment, rather then thinking of spending it, as the price is not up to the my expectation level, so will start spending when the price would be much higher in future.
actually better holding rather than looking for investments that have not been clearly legit or not. precisely plan that will make the defeat less mature. if you have not got a plan. better hold

That's true, just keep your coins if you have no serious plan on it... as more and more ponzis are just popping out anywhere to scam us..

I invested some in a site called triple threat at the moment so I am going to try to make a withdrawal today. If I get the money that I withdraw I will be at break even point so next withdrawal will be all profit for me. I hope I can make around 150 bucks a week from this site as I want to try to save one bitcoin a month but let's see if it will work for a few weeks or months at least.

can't we find some address to send the coins to?
I have some coins that i think still not dead yet the amount isn't something significant. but if I can sent the coins to someone who dedicate their time to such coin, my coins might not goto waste.

Keep it idling in my wallet and watch as it grows. And maybe in a few months withdraw it for a good profit and treat myself for some good stuff to buy and some things for my family..  Grin
are you gonna just watching it? why don't collect more and withdraw in a few months after? it will be better than just watching idle bitcoin.

for me I can't keep my idle in a long time

Then what do you do for you idle coins ? Because i'm also just stored it in my wallet. I don't know what to do for my idle coins. and i don't want gambling for my coins
Yes. Never gamble your coins. No matter if they are idle or not. Because idle coins also have some value and don't suppose to loose them, next bitcoin halving is just coming in few months. There is strong chance that idle coins will be more worth after halving.

Keeping it idle isn't so bad your already gambling by keeping it so why "invest" it somewhere else, that's just more gambling lol

Holding it is good, as you could only think about the price rise and low, while if you invest it in investment sites, you have to think about not just the high and low but also of until when the investment site would be alive and if it won't run away..

Right now I'm saving them up in the hope of using them to help with travel expenses later this year. Still got my fingers crossed to get to a few events I'd like to attend over the summer.

Watching your ideal bitcoin is the best option with respect to price appreciations always.
Because only 'watchers" had benefited from bitcoins the most not all the early adopters nor all the early miners.
But there is no guarantee for the benefits for keeping your bitcoin idle all the time. Bitcoin may reach $1000 or not in quick time. But there is a guarantee with my trading for some daily profits, so I do not prefer to hold my bitcoins ideal.
If you do not have any skill or strategy to multiply your bitcoins then you can keep your bitcoin ideal. Otherwise you can make your bitcoin grow by investing it or trading with it.

It isn't only that, there aren't any legit services out there to invest. You're right that one is taking a gamble when hodling BTC but at-least with that you don't have to worry about losing your coins to a scam.

there are legit services out there. but at the same time a lot of scams. it's up to you to sieve them out

Legit services can lose money too. So even if you are careful, you are taking a risk at the end of the day. Some people might not have that risk appetite and prefer to sit on their coins.

I think the investment is not a sort of gambling. does not require the skills of an investment. but the investment is not gambling. if you do not like the investment. there are many other ways that better than keeping it idle

keeping bitcoin is not a gamble, it is an investment and just like any other investments it has risks so invest what you can afford to lose. besides the chance of going up is higher than going down.

also i might add, it is a good idea to invest bitcoin too. because you can have the opportunity to gain more bitcoin as profit if you invest. but finding a good investment is hard and you have to search for it. the best one IMO is investing in Altcoins.

It's hard to invest without taking a huge, huge risk with BTC. I'd say mostly hang onto coins for the longterm but you can always trying trading to earn a little bit of ROI.

i just let it stay in my wallet and i do nothing at all with it, i hope for the price to increase in the future and make me a lot of money for just holding my bitcoins in the wallet, thats what i do with my idle coins
That is really all you can do. There is no Bitcoin wallet that gives you interest for putting you coins in. I wish there was something like that though.
yeah Indeed. no interest will you get to save on the wallet. would you get is a profit if prices rise
it seems that the idea is less attractive

My Idle coins are safely stored offline. This way when i don't get tempted to buy anything when i see it.
And best of all they are safe, far from the reach of hackers.
