I am also confused. I have 0.9 BTC in my wallet. and was still unemployed. I was a little afraid to invest. so when I choose to save. but I want to be extra income, there are any suggestions from you guys?

Probably keep that still on your wallet. Everything's too unstable to invest now. Mining difficulty is rising like hell, LoanBase got hacked, the only good thing is the price is now rising.

Bitcoin wallet is already just like a bank without interest but your bitcoin price go high or low so its better you withdraw them when the price is high and deposit when the price is low Wink but still you can put half of it in a Trusted mining site Wink

The best thing to do with them IMO is just holding them, Currently there are no safe investment opportunities in bitcoin "no bank-like profit etc...", Trading is also unpredictable and can be profitable or lead to loss of some of the invested money.

i use my idle bitcoins as a stock, buy when low and sell when high.  too many risky investments out there dont want to risk getting scammed.

very nice.. keep your thinking like that and you will profit from your idle coins, that way your coins is not idle anymore..  Smiley

Thats good to know that you're aware of that and are cautious but also make sure to not leave your coins in an exchange, you never know when one decides to get "hacked" Roll Eyes and takes off with your money.

For starters, I have no idle coins. I always prevent being in such like situations because i end up using the coins to the talks that I had not planned for. Before coming to this resolution, I was having issues since I could spend all the coins that I have been able to trade throughout the week. Buying pizza using the coins I have spend sleepless nights trading is very painful I will urge you guys to spend the coins wisely owing to the fact that they are highly valued.

Taking it from a person burned by cloud mining multiple times, hold your coins is the best strategy.

just let it sit and wait a while.  Don't trust exchanges, they can get hacked or go bankrupt and you will lose it all.

I've seen a lot of people posting these types of questions lately... and for some reason I think it has to do with the price staggering, and people feel like they always have to have some sort of ROI each day to feel like they've had a "successful day" in cryptoland.

Truth is, is that you really don't have to go find some way to double your coins fast, or do something to earn a couple bitcoins... just enjoy reading what's on here, learn some things about this revolutionary new currency, and see where it goes from there.  I know people like to day trade, gamble, invest, etc. and try to "siphen" a couple extra satoshis here and there.. but the truth is, is that it's really not that necessary if you think about it.  You personally are still one of the very few people on the earth who have any cryptos at all... so it might be beneficial to save your satoshis, because one mBTC might be worth $10 one day... you never really know.

If you want to gamble, buy, or invest in something... go for it.  After all, it's your money... you shouldn't be looking for people to give you some kind of "green light" to do something you've been wanting to do with bitcoins.

I think I don't have so much idle coins because I exchange them into cash so I can buy something I need haha

If I have idle coins, it's just because I can't exchange it, and I just save it in my wallet.

it is unfortunate. if you do not use your money for something more worthwhile. better investing than just hold your bitcoin in the wallet. there is no benefit from idle coin

Some are on exchanges but most of them are safely stored in my encrypted wallet. It's never safe to store too  on an exchange, but i prefer to have some coins available online for when i get a good deal.
However i never try to have more then 5 btc on 1 exchange.

The majority of mine are invested in a very secure low percentage return site where they've been for over a year and so far generated an additional BTC1.5  Smiley with auto monthly withdrawals

Honestly, it depends on how much coinage you have, IMHO.  If you have a good bit, then I suggest maybe putting them into cold storage or paper wallets.  But honestly, I think the best way to do this and "gain interest" litterally, is to buy some type of physical coin which you can load your coins there.  Something that you can hold on to, and more than likely they will pan out to have a pretty high premium later on down the line in the future when physical bitcoins coming out from this decade will be highly sought after. Better to have coins just sitting in a hot wallet idling, where they could be easily stolen...
